The oceans heave up to my heart
*phew* I hung in there today. Result? Pile of tired mush sitting at the computer screen that you all know as (and some love) Lauren.
Well, last night there was a big soccer game and I was invited to sing the national anthem because our regular senior has a cold...so that was a really great honor. And we even won our first soccer game that night! They all called me their "lucky charm" and said that I haveta come more often....omg, I'm so sorry, but I haveta say it, there were so many cute guys there~!
Everyone was still mean to me today though, even the freakin'n nuns said "why couldn't it have been you?!" But that friend that was being such a bitch to me is suddenly talking to me...I guess we're okay again...but I don't like it...how we're suddenly okay.
But the biggest surprise today was that the music director came in and said they were moving the concert today during 4th period~! (my last 80min class) So I was running around all day trying to sing, I was really happy I carry the sheet music and piano music with me. (I made the teacher listen to the song and she actually figured out the piano parts for me!)
So...actually, I played the piano and sung my song at the same time! And it was obviously a big hit...and I got a lot of "can I have a picture!?" "can you sign this for me?!" I was like...wow. But I was pround of myself...I didn't mess up, it sounded decent, I came in first, and I hit the high note~! WoOt~!
Then, that guy from the funeral called....and asked when he'd see me again. I was all like what? And he said he wanted to take me out sometime this week. (score!)
Well, that's about it, I need to see how much homework I can get done before I need to go to dance...if I even can...lol.
