Bad Week
I've had a really bad week so far. My Mom went into the hospital on Friday morning last week and she's just getting worse. She had surgery today for the problem that brought her to the hospital but Sunday night she had a seizure and noone is telling me why it happened!! I've called the neurologist and she hasn't bothered to call me back and tell me what is going on. She's really sick and they don't know if she's going to come through ok. I'm really down and upset about this. :( I'm the one that has to make any medical decisions for her and I don't know if I can do this. I'm trying to be strong for her and my nephew (who lives with her) but it's starting to get to me that I'm the only family member here to deal with this. Comments (2) |

Bad Day
I had a really bad day yesterday. I got fired from my job because I made a mistake on something I did. It wasn't the first one but I don't think it was bad enough for me to get fired! I called a friend of mine who owns an abstract company (title search) and asked her if she needed any help. She said that she would talk to her husband and call me back. They took me on part-time for less than what I was making but at least it's some money coming in. I started this morning and I actually worked ALL day so that was good. I'm gonna keep looking for full-time work though. I'm just glad she did this for me, that's what a true friend is. :) Comments (2) |

Happy 4th of July!!!!
Hey everybody! It's been a long time since my last post and I thought I'd just say have a Safe and Happy 4th of July!! We are getting together with my family tomorrow at my Mom's house. There will be about 20 of us. It should be fun. We are going to the fireworks show tomorrow night in downtown Rockford. That is ALWAYS a great time. Talk to you all later! Comments (1) |
