Remembering that awful day
I remember I was at the office getting ready to go downtown to start working and our boss called us from Chicago and told us to turn on the TV. We watched in horror as the 2nd plane hit WTC2. She was frightened that the Sears Tower across the street from her would be next but she decided to stay where she was and wait it out. She told us to go home. We were all standing around the TV crying for those lost in these brutal attacks. If only our government had gotten to Osama Bin Laden 2 years earlier, this might never have happened!!
