Still Lost
Disappointingly three of the five wallpapers I uploaded on Monday have not appeared on the site yet. This suggests they have not been approved yet which would be particularly strange in the case of Kuwabara vs Shorin as that had been approved the first time it was submitted.

Does anyone know who, or the best person, to contact about this?

GetBackers Wall
(GetBacker Graffiti)GetBackers graffiti on a yellow wall taken from the fourth ending sequence. I'm not totally happy with this one as the main GetBackers logo (or should that be scrawl) seemed to be a little too far to the left. This was a consequence of keeping the kanji/kana graffiti to the right in the picture. If I can solve that later I'll replace this one.

Yu Yu Hakusho Wallpapers
Two New Yu Yu Hakusho Wallpapers
(Kuwabara vs Shorin) A tableau from the Genkai storyline. In the contest to became Genkai's apprentice Kuwabara is about to take on Shorin in the semi-final but one of the contenders is the demon Rando (end of episode 11). Unlike Beyblade there aren't so many end-of-episode tableaus in Yu Yu Hakusho and they aren't as good, but then YYH is at least ten year older than BB.

(Yusuke's First Case) The second wallpaper features a newly-revived Yusuke confronting a demon in the climax to his first case as a Spirit Detective (episode 5).

GetBackers Greeting
Getbackers 'Get Well Soon' Greeting E-card added
Akabane coming to visit a poorly Ginji with a basket of fruit from the hospital episode(39) of GetBackers.

I'm not particularly happy about placing the greeting text on a blank area underneath the main picture but there was no spare space in the picture itself to put it without obscuring Akabane and I wouldn't want to upset him.

First Yu Yu Hakusho Wallpapers and Download Milestone
New GetBackers Wallpaper

Uploaded a GetBackers wallpaper featuring the full super-deformed version of Ban Midou (from episode 40). Although we see Ginji in this form quite often, he's spends much of the DVD volume 8 episodes like it, this is the first time we've seen Ban this way.

Two Yu Yu Hakusho Wallpapers

Two tableaus from the Saint Beasts storyline. In the first one Kuwabara hurries to confront the second Saint Beast Byakko (from ep 16, Byakko,The White Tiger). The second shows Yusuke and co, and Suzaku, the final Saint Beast, ready for the final confrontation (from ep 18, Seiryu,The Blue Dragon)


1000 Downloads Milestone

I see my wallpaper portfolio has just passed the 1000 download mark. Although most comments I've recieved have been about the Beyblade walls, for which I am very grateful, it is the GetBackers walls that are the most popular by number of downloads.

The New Solar System
Not anime related but a nice poster of the solar sytem (along with a periodic table and the final volume of the Candidate for Goddess manga) arrived in the post for me today. That was at about 8am BST. Less than six hours later it became out of date as Pluto was demoted as a planet.

Beyblade Wallpaper
I've put up another Beyblade wallpaper from the Rei and Mariah's flashback sequence in episode 16. I originally omitted it from the original batch as I was was very similar another wallpaper but I've uploaded it now in response positive comments about wallpapers featuring Rei & Mariah.

Background Image Added
The background image is a picture of Limitless Fortress (or Infinite Fortress in the manga translation) from GetBackers.

The current background is my second version. My first attempt didn't work as the Fortress itself was obscured by main text panel leaving only the building either side which wasn't what I wanted. So I cropped the picture leaving just the Fortress itself.

The Limitless Fortress is a very significant location in GetBackers. In some ways it is almost a character itself similar to the Egdon Heath in Thomas Hardy's novel The Return of the Native.

GetBackers Wallpapers
Three New GetBackers Wallpapers
The GetBackers Pity Shido, Shido's Domestic Bliss and Ban and Shido are Angry!:
The first batch of GetBackers wallpapers using material grabbed from my latest DVD (vol 8). Two are from episode 40 and the other is from episode 39. They all feature characters in their super-deformed, or semi-super-deformed, forms. It isn't so easy to adapt screenshots from GetBackers into wallpapers because of the screen aspect used for GetBackers.
