I want to run away
So I don't have to feel
The pain
Of a thousand flames
Burning in my soul

I want to duck and hide
So I don't have to hear
The cries
Of an eternal falling rain
In my mind

I want to say goodbye
So I don't have to
Wonder why
I keep these feelings
Locked so deep inside
