Nothing has ever made me feel this way....

I just finished reading one of the best books I have ever read! Its called Go Ask Alice and is the actual dieary of an anonomous 15-17 year old girl. She battles with social ranking, grades, drugs, sex, money and the general insanity of being a teenager. At the end of the book she dies and I don't say this to spoil it for anybody because even when you read the back cover they tell you. I say it because the whole point of the book is to relay all her very real and lots of times shocking experiances and then emphasize that she is just one of the MANY who go through the same exact thing. I can honestly say I have never connected with anything so purely and on so many levels. I could identify and completly understand this girl and why she did the things she did. I understood why she hated herself and why she felt so trapt and confused. Even though its a book for "young adults" and therefor an extremly easy read I really and trully think everyone, no matter there age should read it. Go buy it or check it out at a library, seriously, when you finsh the book down to the last word of the Epiloge you'll understand what I mean and why this book has sold over 5 million copies!
