7!! Dang, this'll take forever
“So, you’re saying, she can’t talk when she’s a mage?” asked Eureka. “Exactly. Of course, she is holding a mermaid’s hair, which she is, so all you have to do is say the breathing spell used by the mermaids, to talk to others.” Nicole lifter her head slightly, to talk, but only a strange noise came from her. Lochelle, playfully, pushed both her hands on Nicole’s head. “Stay down there, mermaid!” Nicole, apparently annoyed by her actions kicked Lochelle. “Most creatures in Skolta take caution of making a mermaid angry…” Scolded Gloria. Eureka, focused on their newly appointed jobs, then asked, “So, when are we going to see Skolta? Or do we have to learn Tutluskan?” Gloria shook her head. “Yes, you will be going to Skolta another time, but not right now. And as far as learning Tutluskan, you don’t have to. Because , ancient mages, you already know it.”
“Aw, that’s not fair! I want a real cool power too!” whined Lochelle. Gloria sighed. “Yes, every one of you had a special power.” Eureka cleared her throat. “Oh, yeah, Gloria. How does Nicole use the breathing spell? I mean, are there magic words are something?” Gloria glanced at Nicole. “ Okay, Nicole, all you have to do is snap.” Nicole furious with the ridiculous spell snapped. When she stopped wheezing, she pulled her head out of the fountain, and dried her hair. “Geez, Gloria! Why couldn’t you tell me earlier? Though…am I really a mermaid?” Gloria looked at Lochelle, who was skittering nervously around the dirt path. “No, Nicole. You’re not a mermaid, but the water mage. It’s kinda like being the queen of the mermaids.” Nicole jumped into the air. “Cool! I’m royalty! That’s awesome!” Gloria looked at the sunset-filled sky and almost yelped with astonishment. “Oh, wow! It’s almost time!” She jogged in place as she said her last words. “Sorry girls gotta go to the mirror!” And with that, she was gone. Eureka recalled the words Gloria had said to transform them. She changed them all back to their uniforms and they all ran off, guided by the street lights across the roads.
The next day they met by the water fountain, where they discussed what about Gloria. “Can we believe her?” said Nicole. Eureka thought for a moment. “I think so. She did give us a good explanation for everything and…”
“So, you don’t believe me?” called an ice-cold voice. A girl stepped out of the shadows of the trees where she was supposedly listening.
“Gloria! Well, isn’t this a surprise? How nice to see..”
“Shut up. So, Eureka, tell me. Do you believe me or not? Am I not trust-worthy? Are you just going to stand there while a whole world is in peril?” She was raising her voice with every word.

6!! Woot!
“So, that’s it? That’s all there is to it? It’s that simple?” wailed Nicole. Gloria rubbed her human chin for a minute, then looked at Nicole and replied, “Uh, yeah. Pretty much. Of course, there’s a longer and more complicated version of the story, but I don’t want to bore you with the details. Just for you to know that you each have powers of earth, water, and air.” Lochelle moved around a bit, dancing on her orange boots. “Wow that clears it up. I’ve got the earth, Eureka’s got the wings, and Nicole’s got the…” She peered at Nicole. Nicole just stood there, watching her. “What are you doing?” She asked slowly. Lochelle looked at her as if she was crazy. “Duh, where’s your tail?” Nicole tilted her head. “Your fins? Anything that makes you different from a girl in a Halloween costume! I mean, come on, don’t you want a tail? Or fins?” Nicole looked at her, and then stepped back, against the fountain. “Come on, Nicole! Talk to me!” Lochelle put her hands on her hips. “I…” Then Nicole started to cough loudly. “Nicole!” Eureka ran over to her, and pounded lightly on her back. She tried to talk again, but she just coughed even more. “Quick!” yelled Gloria. “Dunk her in the fountain!” Lochelle gave her a puzzled look. “What the crap?” Lochelle shrugged, and pushed Nicole’s head into the water. At first, Nicole flailed around, pushing against Lochelle’s hand, but with no success. Some bubbles floated to the top of the water, and Nicole relaxed. “What? Get her out, Lochelle! Before you drown her!” Eureka shrieked. “It’s been like a whole minute! She can’t last that long underwater, right?” She turned to Gloria, who was studying Nicole closely. “Wha? Gloria! Why aren’t you helping her?! She’s drowning! Right?” “Hmm…Not really. All aquatic creatures in Skolta can breathe underwater, apparently also the water mage…” “But, why can’t she talk?” Lochelle asked, taking her hand off of Nicole’s silver hair. “When she is in mage form…Can you hear me, Nicole?” Nicole gave her a thumbs-up. “Anyway, when she’s a mage, due to the fact that her molecules are filled with water magic, she must be in water wherever she goes. Of course, though, when she is human she’ll be fine.”

Holy crap this is going to take forever....don't forget. This is very important later on in the story. ;)

5!!
Eureka stood back, startled. “What the heck just happened?! Who are you?!” The girl looked at Eureka. “My name’s Amaydla, or my earth name, Gloria. I speak Tutluskan, and you are the chosen ones.”
Lochelle, like usual, interrupted. “Amay-tut-wha?” Gloria, the strange girl, touched her forehead with her pointer fingers again, and the three girls had a new outfit. What the crap?! Eureka thought, looking at her new outfit, much different than her T-shirt and jeans. Nicole picked at her forest-green dress and commented. “Chosen Ones? That’s a bit geeky, don’t you think?” Gloria looked at her, her face grim. Nicole flinched. “Yes, the Chosen Ones. We…” Lochelle interrupted again. “We? Who is we? Tell me, what’s your face, who you are, what the heck you did to us, and what the crap you were speaking!!” Gloria sighed and muttered something in Tutluskan. “Okay, I’ll start from the beginning. My name is Amaydla; I’m a fairy, and your guide.” “What? Wait, our guide? For what? Are taking us on a field trip?” yelled Nicole. “Stop interrupting me!!” Gloria shrilled. They fell silent. “Now, where was I? Oh yeah. Tutluskan in the ancient language of the imaginary, well to you humans, world which I live, Skolta. There is a prophecy that three earth-dwellers are chosen to rule over Skolta and that they will defeat the demon Whemin. For thirty years now, Whemin has taken over Skolta and ruled it like it was his own planet. We need your help to defeat him!” Eureka then interrupted. “But wait, how couldn’t we understand you when we were in our normal forms?” Gloria laughed at her. “Are all the earth-people this stupid?! Only Skoltan creatures can understand Tutluskan. It’s our natural code. But my way, you are three of the chosen mages. And yes, Lochelle, before you interrupt me, again, you have magic.” Eureka stared at her, and her beautiful deep brown wings started to flutter. “Okay, then. What was that monster here for, and why did he give us those necklaces?” Gloria sighed, and crossed her legs. “Oh. That was Torsk. He can’t remember how to change into his human form. Said he ‘forgot’. He’s so stupid.” Nicole stopped tugging her clothing and looked at Gloria. “Wait, what did you say about human form?” Gloria looked at her confused a bit, and replied, “Every individual creature in Skolta has a creature form, their true form, and a human form, used to visit Earth and do certain tasks. Most of the Skoltan creatures know Tutluskan, but some have learned English while on earth. The thing is, though, we can only be human for twelve hours. Okay, is that enough info? My jaw hurts.” Lochelle swiveled her head nervously. “Okay? Good. Now, let’s carry on.”

Chapter---4?
A long silence followed as the three girls stood by the fountain. Water falling was the only sound they heard. “Okay. What just happened?” asked Nicole. “I…I have no idea, but that was pretty creepy.” Lochelle exclaimed. Eureka realized that both of them were talking loudly about the incident. The other students, whose scared selves were hiding in the forest thankfully, had seen anything besides the light. Eureka, Nicole, and Lochelle quickly looked around, and ran towards the main gate.
When Eureka got home, she found her mom sitting cross legged on the wooden floor, a big bulky box full of pictures nearby. “Hi, honey! How was your first day of school?” Eureka shrugged, put down her backpack, and went into the kitchen to make room for a snack. As she ate the cookie she had discovered, she thought of the creature that followed them and gave them the necklaces. Where had it come from? Why did he give them to us? Why was she worrying about it so much? She decided to shake it from her head until tomorrow when she saw them again.
The next day, she saw them sitting on the steps, and she raced through the main gate. She saw Nicole and Lochelle waving to her, but just as she was about to reach them, Claire jumped out in front of her. “Hey!” She yelled angrily. “Why are you hanging out with that nerd Lochelle? I do think that it’s good that you’re friends with Nicole, steps in the right direction….but still, lose the nerd!” Eureka was stunned, and before she could reply, Claire walked away with a flip of her hair. Eureka sighed, and then walked over to Nicole and Lochelle. “Geez, she is really getting on my nerves!” Said Eureka. “And it’s only my second day!” Nicole shook her head with Lochelle. “That girl just loves to annoy people all the time!” said Nicole. “Does she ever stop?” Eureka asked. “Nah, she’s like a girly robot. Always running all over the place, scaring the livin’ daylights outta students. It’s a real shame that no one’s tried to strangle her yet.” Eureka was so into staring at her hand, that she didn’t realize what Lochelle had said. “Hello? Eureka?” Nicole looked at her closely. “What are you doing?” she asked. She peered at Eureka’s palm with her and then looked at her face. She waved her hand in front of Eureka, but she just shoved it out of her face. “Look.” She said. On Eureka’s palm there was a little glowing dot moving around her hand as if it were trapped inside her. Then, the same thing started to happen to Nicole and Lochelle. Their palms started to glow, until a few minutes afterward, when it stopped. Then, without warning, a streak of light flew across the clear blue sky. “What in the world is that?!” Nicole cried. The three girls ran in the direction of which the comet had led. It took them to a tree where a girl was hanging upside-down from a tall limb. “Wow. I wonder how she got up there!” Lochelle said. The girl started flailing madly, muttering words. “Well, we better let her down!” Eureka said. And with that comment, she started to slowly climb the tree. When the girl was safely down on the ground, she patted her head. Eureka looked at her like she was crazy, and at that moment, they were sure she was. “Quitalin tluskn ablide tuke.” She said. “Hey,” Lochelle said, “She sounds like that freaky monster who gave us those necklaces.” The girl desperately tried to communicate with them. “What in the world?” Nicole muttered again. “Maybe she’s not from this world!” exclaimed Eureka. The girl pointed at her palm, and wrote letters. “What is she doing?” Lochelle said slowly. The girl got furious and grabbed Nicole’s hand. “Hey! What are you doing?” she tried to jerk her hand away but failed. Then the girl pretended to put on a necklace. “Okay, maybe she wants to play charades.” Eureka said a bit understanding. The girl pointed at her back, and then her heart. She touched her forehead, and then chanted some odd words of hers. A light flickered dimly from her forehead, and the girl opened her eyes and looked at them. “There, that’s better!”

Chapter 3!!!
Eureka, still stunned, saw a giant creature looming over their heads. She started to panic, throwing herself this way and that, until she broke free of Lochelle’s grasp. She grabbed their hands, and ran to the water fountain near the forest. “What in the world?!” cried Nicole as she looked over her shoulder. The giant creature was big eyed, about 10 feet tall, and looked like a giant lizard. It was running towards the place the three girls had just been, and then he swiped blindly at nothing. He bent over and sniffed the air. Eureka, out of breath, leaned against the large water fountain, in the middle of the walkway. She watched, curiously, as the monster looked about, pulling up a bench and throwing it over a fence as if it weighed nothing. Suddenly, his head spun around and faced them. He started to run very fast, towards them. Eureka shrieked in horror as she ran towards the main gate. She pulled Nicole’s hand again, but then let go. “Wait.” She said quietly. Eureka’s legs stood placed in the dirt. Lochelle slowed down and she backed down behind a tree for cover. Nicole gave Eureka a weird look. “Are you mad?!” She cried. The monster was getting closer to them. Eureka turned around and faced the creature. On the corner of her eye, she saw startled students running away from the monster, careful not to scream to attract his attention. “Wait.” She repeated. “Why is he just chasing us, and no one else?” Nicole pondered at what she had just said, as she had a point. Lochelle, very scared and worried, stepped out from behind a large oak and shuffled towards Nicole and Eureka. The monster was about a yard away from Eureka. She tightly held onto her skirt as he neared. He came closer, and Eureka could see that he was holding three necklaces in his fist. He slouched down and came to a halt a foot away from her. He held out the necklaces for her to take them. She put her hand out, not knowing what would happen. He said something to her. “Kimptouri grylpz tyohaw.” She looked at him bewildered, and as if he thought she was dumb, be thrust the necklaces into her hand. She looked at the necklaces, and as if in a trance, put on the purple necklace that seemed to be sparkling. The necklace was put on carefully, and a purple light billowed around Eureka as she was slowly lifted into the air. The light flashed for a second, and the next, Eureka was on the ground again, but the heavy necklace was gone. The other necklaces were shoved back into his hand, and she stepped back slowly. He blinked at her blankly, as if he didn’t know what she was doing. He turned angry for a second, then relaxed. Eureka hid behind Lochelle as the monster started forward. He held out the orange one to Lochelle, and the green one to Nicole. They slowly reached out for the necklaces, and he placed them in their hands. They started to glow, and after another blinding light, they had disappeared from their necks. The monster smiled, sort of, and backed away until he started to fade away. He pointed at them one last time, and again in his foreign language, said, “Chosen Ones.” Then he was gone.

Chapter 2!!
After that, she walked down the hallway with Eureka to Mrs. Lattivi’s classroom. Eureka found out that Lochelle walked really fast. When they finally reached Mrs. Lattivi’s room, Eureka found that she was a very old lady with pointy glasses. “Ms. Lochelle, Ms. Eureka! Please take your seats.” She barked. Lochelle rolled her eyes and skipped over to a girl with short black hair waiting in a row with two empty seats nearby. Lochelle sat in one, and she motioned Eureka to the other.
Eureka sat next to Lochelle, who winked at her at said, “After class.” After Science, her first core, she heard Mrs. Lattivi get up and leave the class. “Don’t go crazy during this period. It is your social hour, but not your destructive hour!” she barked. As soon as she slammed the door behind her, everyone burst into conversation. Lochelle nudged Eureka on her shoulder. “Hey, Eureka, I want you to meet my best friend, Nicole.” The girl with the short black hair waved, so Eureka waved sheepishly back. As the two girls started to talk about Claire, Eureka was glad that she had something to relate to. She told them of her meeting with Claire that morning. “That tall girl is 100% evil!!” Nicole snarled. “She is a good for nothin’ slacker! I still can’t believe that she made it into Middle School!” Thankfully, Claire had another teacher, so they didn’t have to deal with her. Before long, the three of them became fast friends. Eureka, who was usually very shy, found that they had a special bond that kept them together during that day. They met at the end of the day in the courtyard to make plans for the weekend. “Why don’t you come to my house?” said Eureka. “We can study for Mrs. Lattivi’s stupid pop quizzes.” Nicole pulled out her electronic planner, and busily started to press buttons. “Um, let’s see. Tomorrow, I have a date, Wednesday, I have rehearsal, Thursday, I- hey!” she said. “That day, Friday and the weekend, I’m free!” She looked at them like it was a big deal. “I say we go to Eureka’s house and do a study group!” She slipped her planner into what seemed to Eureka a bottomless bag. Eureka thought for a moment that maybe it was falling deeper and deeper, and deeper…”So, what do you have for homework?” Piped Lochelle. Eureka gave a sigh of disgust as she pointed to her stuffed backpack of homework. “For an old hag,” she said, “That lady sure knows her algebra!” Lochelle opened her small backpack and pulled out a couple of worksheets. “This is all for me.” Eureka gasped at how much it was. Nicole, seeing Eureka startled, pulled her to the side and whispered to her. “Lochelle is a really good student; she makes the honor roll every year. It’s kinda scary.” Just then, they heard a loud crash, coming from the forest. Eureka, dazed, dashed out of Nicole and Lochelle’s way. Despite their calls, she ran, but she didn’t know why. Another loud crash sounded, along with a great earthquake, and Eureka lost her balance and toppled over into the grass. Nicole was running behind Lochelle as she gathered Eureka up. “Are you okay?”

Destiny Hearts
Eureka held tightly to her backpack as she entered Saint George Academy. Since her parents had moved from Chicago, Eureka felt very insecure for losing all of her friends there. “Don’t worry;” said her father, “I’m sure you’ll make lots of friends here.” Eureka knew it would be hard to make friends with the new kid.
She heard the bell ring the first time and she shifted into an anxious jog. As she walked up to the school, she saw a tall girl leaning on a tree. She snickered as Eureka passed her, Eureka feeling a wave of panic sweep over her. She passed the last tree, and was just about to make it to the steps, when she was stopped by the tall girl. “Hey. Who are you?” Eureka shifted her backpack to her other shoulder with her sweaty palm. “I’m Eureka.” She muttered. “Eureka?!” the tall girl shrieked, “What kind of name is that? It sounds like that light bulb place!” She swayed around Eureka. “You must be the new girl. I’ve heard of you…” She suddenly stopped and turned on her heel to face Eureka. “Ah, where are my manners? I’m Claire, the most popular, prettiest, and smartest girl in this school.” She leaned closer to her. “And don’t you forget it, got it?” Eureka nodded out of pure terror. Claire straightened up and threw on a fake girly smile. “Well, I’m glad to have met you.” And with that, she flipped her hair and slowly strutted away. Eureka was stunned. Well, she thought, at least I know the first person on my enemy list. Oh great, she sighed, I already have an enemy, and not one friend to back me up! She slouched a little, and with her backpack, she walked up the stairs. As she headed for her locker, she saw a tall girl with long brown hair. Eureka knew that she had to make friends eventually, so why not now? She gathered up all the courage and walked over to the girl, who was now selecting a book from her locker. “H--,” the girl spun around, surprised to hear someone. “Hi! I’m Lochelle. You must be the new girl, Eureka, right?” Eureka smiled. “Yeah, that’s me. How did you know?” Lochelle gave her a grin, and scratched her head. “Ya know, I kinda guessed…” Eureka looked at her puzzled. “But-,” Again Lochelle spoke. “I know your name starts with an E, because of the E on your backpack. There’s a U on your bracelet, and I heard of that girl whose name sounds like the light bulb place down the street.” Eureka sighed. “Great, I’m getting a reputation as the girl like the light bulb place.” Lochelle frowned. “Oh no! I didn’t mean it like that!” She paused for a minute, leading in a disturbing silence. Eureka, knowing that if she wanted Lochelle as a friend, had to say something fast or she would lose her attention. “So, can you help me get to my first period?” Lochelle grinned again. “Yeah! What is it?” She snatched the schedule out of Eureka’s hand and read it. “Oh! You’ve got Mrs. Lattivi, just like me!” Before Eureka could say anything, Lochelle grabbed her wrist and led her to her locker. “Hurry up and get your stuff.” She said.

   Gah...More!!
Sorry I haven't updated in forever!! Well, here's the next part! Bwahahah! Long posts! XD

Cothine shifted into a light run when she caught sight of Atsui. He was gliding across a path linking to the main entrance. She caught him in no time at all, and he flinched to see her. “You!” She giggled. “You!” She repeated. He looked at her for a second, then adjusted his hat, and said, “So, what do you want?” Cothine slowed down a bit. “Just to say hi and...” She paused, the medallion burning a hole through her skin. “Augh!!” She doubled over in pain, and collapsed on the ground. Atsui bent over her, calling, “Hello? Girl! Hey, girl!” He blocked out the sunlight, and Cothine saw a pendant swinging around his neck. Its blue glow made her stare. It twirled slightly, and sunlight bounced off it. For a second, she winced, and then all pain vanished. She relaxed, and felt strangely happy. Cothine closed her eyes again, and smiled. Atsui’s hand was smoothing her hair, feeling her forehead. “P…Phoenix…” He said soothingly. She raised her barely numb hand, and put hers on top of his. “Atsui, I’m…fine.” Cothine felt the tension come out of his hand and he helped her pull herself back up. Silently, he picked her up, and began gliding to the nurse’s. “A…Atsui! Wait…” Cothine coughed. She slumped, still weak from her attack. “Go to sleep, little phoenix.” She grunted her reply. “I’m not…little.” The sky above her started to become black dots, and she heard what sounded like Atsui singing. “Hum da la, da dum ha.” Before she slipped away into unconsciousness, she whispered, “You know it…”
“God, Cothine, you scared me to death!!!” Erika cried over the side of the nurse’s small hospital bed. Cothine sat up, her back sore and her arms aching. “Where am I? Where’s...?” She hurriedly threw the covers off, frantically blurting something to Erika. “He, he, he knows! He knows, Erika!!! He…” She felt like her head was being squeezed, and she lay back down on the bed. Erika rubbed her face. “Aw, you poor thing…” Cothine faintly heard a door open and close. Rough footsteps and a bag being set down. “Cothine…Cothine?”

Ya like it?
Here's the next part of "Hidden Dragon, Weeping Phoenix" 'k guys? ^^

She yelped, clinging to her empty neck. He turned around, and tossed her back the bird. “A phoenix, huh?” Cothine caught it with her quick fingers, and slipped it over her head. “Oh, so at least someone doesn’t call it a cardinal.” Then she flinched. “YOU PERVERT!!!” He took a step back. “What?” She punched him on the shoulder, and he flinched. “God, you hit hard! Why are you…?” She kicked him, hard, and he bended over in pain. “Augh! No, it’s not like that!” As he flipped over, something fell off his neck. It landed on the ground a few feet away. “Stop! Go away, girl!” She stopped, her face still red with fury. She turned, and ran, all the way into the building, and paused beside a window. He picked up the necklace that had fallen, and put it back on. Well that’s different…she thought. From a distance, she could tell that he really cared about his necklace. The bell rang again.

“Hum da la, da dum ha.” Cothine was doodling in her notebook again, her blue pen in hand. Her hand was supporting her head, and she slowly swayed. It was Social Studies, and she had heard this lecture a million times. “Blah, blah, blah…” Cothine sighed dramatically, and dropped her head down on the wooden desk. “Ughh!” Her shoulder length brown hair swayed against her as she shook her head.
The medallion rubbed gently against the table edge, and a sweet sound came against it. Cothine felt a familiar hot flash, and picked her head up and looked around the room. Nothing. She rested her head back down on her elbows, and the medallion started to burn. Cothine closed her eyes, expecting the pain to pass. It didn’t. The odd pain continued, and grew, as if it were telling her of something. Grumbling, she lifted her head, to see the strange boy again, outside her window. “Oh crap!” She yelled, falling backwards off her chair. Murmurs and giggles came around the classroom. Cothine ignored them, and continued pressing her medallion into her sweatshirt collar.

Hi everyone! ^^
Hi guys, yes, this is Chocolateagle. I have too many posts on my other site, so this is where I'll put my stories. ^^ So it won't be too crowded...and stuff. 'K? So, if you don't know my new story, here 'tis it!! =D

Hidden Dragon, Weeping Phoenix

Cothine glanced at the medallion clenched in her fist. The bird’s extended wings made her envious. How she wanted to fly out of everything that she was facing. Cothine sighed, and wiped the medallion clean with her sweatshirt sleeve. The red phoenix shone with happiness. She chuckled to herself. The bell to her high school rang loudly, warning her. She tucked the medallion under her sweatshirt, and bounded down the grass-eaten path. “Hum da la, da dum ha.” She closed her eyes for a moment, remembering the song that she knew by heart. A stray rock was placed in her path, and she didn’t realize it until her foot caught it. “Eeek!” She yelped, and tried to steady herself. She winced, awaiting the pain of knees against pavement. That’s exactly what she felt, too. Or so she thought. An incredibly (or she thought) strong arm had caught her arm, the grip calm and steady. She tried to peer over her shoulder, but the sun’s glare stopped her. “Uh…” The hand pulled her back to her feet, and she dusted herself off lightly. She looked up at the tall figure now blocking out the sun. A guy was staring down coldly at her. Not just any guy, but one of the most popular loner guys. “A…Atsui!” He glared down at her from his bucket hat covering his head. “Watch it.” She shrugged off his pressing grip. “…What?” He turned and walked past her, replying, “You’re in my way.” She felt incredibly hot at that point, and she stuck her tongue out at him behind his back. He was holding his ever-present skateboard, a dragon swirled in blue flames on the underside. His blackish brown hair stuck oddly out of his bucket hat, but it was pretty cool. Cothine watched the way he walked. Or, rather, glided. His feet were so fast; she found it difficult for a second to keep up with him. But, she was a fast walker too, so she reached his pace. Without glancing back at her, he said coldly, “What?” She stopped in her tracks, caught off-guard. “What the-?” How did he know she was there? Atsui swung something on the end of his pointer finger. He was wearing a pair of gloves, the kind that didn’t cover fingers. Cothine took a second to figure out what he was spinning. “M…My medallion!!”

Yep. There it is. ^^ HOpe you guys like. See ya later.
