Tranformers : the game Review (on wii)
This year, a Transformer movie was announced. Most people though "WTF? your kidding me right?" but little did everyone know, the movie was pretty awesome. But did the game live up to the movie?
Lets start with gameplay: Think Grand Theft Auto with big robots. It's gives you a large, fully destructible, environment. You have 2 weapons, a fast but weak one and a strong but slow one. and one melee attack. it's very fun, featuring random robot battles around and a lot of cars and building...until...you try story mode. all the robots fight THE SAME! Throw something to stun them and to the same 3 hit combo, repeat.
Now on the Story, it follows closely to the story in the movie (no spoilers)
Now to the music, the ONLY music is the theme from the movie, but you can barely EVER hear it over the explosion and destroction.
now for the controls, the controls are made w/ the wii remote...but that is hard as hell to control. it's taking the controls in red steel, where you shoot where you aiming and you turn by taking your remote of screen, but it's not as smooth as red steel. Melee attack: you swing you remote side to side, but OH! i wasn't fast enof so now im spining in circles like an idiot, what a scene! But the controls are perfect when you transform into a car! no aiming, just drive and shoot. the car has auto lock-on when shooting!
Now for the extras, you can play as autobots or Decepticons,(destroction in city or destroction in a desert) thats pretty much all....
now on to the aftertaste, did it leave a good taste in my mouth after play it? Would i rent it again? it's left a satisfying taste after playing it. I would rent it again, but i wouldn't but it.
Thats my review of Transformers (on wii) My reviews are long, Sorry! do u want me to shorting it down a bit?
