All Because Of You: Kirara & Kyoubou
*episode 6*
Where am I? What happened? I open my eyes. My little one is staring down at me. Sango looks worried and relived at the same time. As my head clears, I remember the events which had lead me here. Kyoubou? What happened to him? I call out again, Kyoubou? I hear a groan, Ki…Kirara? Am I dead? No I tell him. The jewel, he says I can’t feel it anymore. No, it’s gone. I say. He sounds tired, but he gets out, Then I’m going back to sleep. I did it. I saved him. Now I think I’ll do what he’s doing.

All Because Of You: Kirara & Kyoubou
*episode 5*
It’s been two and a half days since Kirara left and Sango has barely moved at all. She cried, then she didn’t. She thought a lot about why it hurt so much to have Kirara go. They’d been separated before, but this time it was different. Something about the fact that her old friend had to leave her because of a male…hurt. Sango knows that it makes no sense, but that’s how she feels. Perhaps because she had never seen a male two tailed flame-cat, Sango had never thought of Kirara as a female; at least not in that sense. The worst part is that even if Kirara finds him and frees him, Sango is unsure if she would return. It will be dusk soon, and Sango has gathered what she needs to build a fire. Sudenly, she senses a demonic aura approaching slowly. As Sango gets to her feet, she turns to face this new development. To her surprise, relief, shock, and horror, Kirara stumbles into view. She is badly hurt and she carries something in her mouth. Seeing the slayer, Kirara sets down her burden and lets herself collapse. As Sango rushes to her side, Kirara shrinks to her normal size. When she gets closer, Sango sees both Kirara and Kyoubou lying in their small forms. She checks them; injured, exhausted, but alive.

All Because Of You: Kirara & Kyoubou
*episode 4*
As Kirara throws her larger body in front of Kyoubou’s smaller one, Da-ku’s sacred arrow grazes her side. As the flame-cat gets to her feet, the priestess draws another arrow. She says, “I wasn’t expecting you to be here. I could let you leave you know. In fact, now that he no longer has the jewel shards, I could let you both leave, but where would be the fun in that?” Pacing to draw Da-ku’s focus away from the unconscious male, Kirara evaluates her foe. In every sense, this appears to be Kagome; except for her black eyes. But her spirit feels different. It feels like the worst parts of Kagome’s soul ripped out and given form. Realizing that she is in no condition for a fight and that she has to end this quick; Kirara forces aside all feelings of familiarity with this creature. With a growl, she pounces on her. Raising her hand in a careful gesture, Da-ku creates a barrier. Confronted by the might of Kikyo’s priestly powers, Kirara goes flying. Not hesitating, Da-ku fires another arrow at her. Kicking off a tree, Kirara dodges the attack by a hair’s breath. Before Da-ku can draw again, Kirara dashes to Kyoubou. Taking advantage of her size, she grabs the wounded male in her mouth and heads off. Da-ku sends an arrow after her, it grazes her other side; but she keeps going. Da-ku shrugs, “Oh well.” Walking over to the piece of Kyoubou’s shoulder, she fires one more arrow into it; dissolving the flesh. Bending, she grabs the shards and walks off whistling the theme from an anime.

All Because Of You: Kirara & Kyoubou
*episode 3*
Kirara blazes a path through the sky. For nearly a day she has been following Kyoubou without rest. Despite his injuries, she is only slowly overtaking him. Her mussels ache; she needs many hours to recuperate; however, he is surely much worse than she is. His strength should fail long before hers does. Finally she draws to where she can see him. His speed is falling fast; wounded and exhausted, he falls from the heavens. Not wanting to startle him anymore than necessary, she lands a distance away to approach on foot. When she sees him, he is lying on his side, gasping for breath. She can see the burns left by his master’s blows and smell the charred meat on his flank. He is still in his large form, too tired to even revert to the less taxing smaller body. Kyoubou. she calls. He looks up. Seeing her, he stagers to his feet and begins to limp away. Stop. He turns to face her. His eyes are red and he growls. She meets his stare until he break eye contact. He closes his eyes and shakes his head. When his eyes open, they are flash back and forth between orange and red. Finish it he says, or go away. Beginning to circle him, she says, You’re stronger than this; I can tell. You have the will to take control. Let me help you. His eyes flashing red, the male tries to strike out at her, but he can’t move far enough. He collapses. Can you do it? she asks. Can you rest power, even if it’s just for a minute? If you can; I can help you; but if not, you’ll kill me. It’s up to you now. She comes to stand in front of him. Now, on your feet! she commands. He pulls himself onto his front legs. Kirara sees him purposely flexing the burnt muscles; drawing strength from the pain. Bracing himself, he lifts his head, exposing the soft tissue of his neck. Do it…now! he says. Kirara hurls herself at Kyoubou. He braces himself for the killing blow; but it does not come. Instead he feels her fangs dig deep into his right shoulder. Suddenly, his eyes flash red and he returns the bite, hoping to force her to let go. She does not; and with a great effort, she rips away a large portion of the flesh of his shoulder, spitting it and the jewel shards out. As the red fades from his eyes for the last time, he releases his grip on her and he falls to the ground. In a burst of blue flame, he shrinks to his smaller size. Bleeding badly, Kirara bends to his wound and licks it clean. As she rest, she suddenly hears, “Aww, how sweat. Now die together!”

All Because Of You: Kirara & Kyoubou
*episode 2*
The Saimyoushou deposit an unconscious Tattoimaru at the entrance to Naraku’s cave. The demon walks out and stands over the boy. The swarm begins to move off, clearly intending to carry the hammer in their safe-keeping until Tattoimaru wakes up. Naraku snakes a tentacle out from his arm and wraps it around the boy’s throat, applying the slightest pressure; making him gasp. Looking to the insects, he does not move until the Taiyou has been deposited on the stone floor as well. Releasing his son’s neck and grabbing the weapon with his tentacle, Naraku bends to the boy and picks him up. He carries Tattoimaru to the chamber he shared with Kyoubou and sets him gently on his mat. Beside the boy, he places the weapon where it will be seen as soon as he wakes up. Stepping around the Saimyoushou who have been right behind him the whole time, Naraku leaves the boy to his twisted dream. With Naraku gone, the swarm forms a solid seeming wall across the entrance. “How sweet.” Da-ku says sarcastically. “Almost as if you were really that pathetic human father he killed.” Naraku says, “I expect my son to believe me capable of such weakness; but from you I expect better.” Da-ku says, “Don’t worry; I won’t be underestimating you again anytime soon. That little display was for his bugs.” Naraku smirks, “That, and also he did very well. He is progressing far beyond my hopes. I did not expect him to kill Inuyasha; but he very nearly did just that. I can’t help feeling pride knowing that this is the stone I shall crush to make the mortar with which I build my son. But enough about him; I have a task for you. His pet, that cat, is no longer controllable. It always had too much sprit, but Tattoimaru wanted it so I let him have it. Now it must be killed; I leave this task to you.” “Not interested.” Da-ku says, turning away. Naraku says, “This morning, if I had said to kill it, you would have jumped at the chance.” She says, stopping but still not facing him, “You know that that was only because he was the brat’s toy. Now that I wouldn’t be taking it away from him, why would I waste my time?” Naraku reaches out to her and pulls her to him. “Because,” he says into her ear, “It has 3 sacred jewel shards.” Suddenly interested, Da-ku cozies up to him and says, “A girl’s best friend.” Naraku says, “Bring them to me; and I’ll let you keep one.” Suddenly not so cuddly, she says shaking her head, “Uh-uh, if I go get them, I should get to keep them.” Naraku says, reaching his had around and placing it on her chest above her breasts, “I’ll go as far as the smaller two; but no further.” His fingers tighten around the base of her throat, “That is my final offer.” Turning in his arms, Da-ku kisses him signaling her acceptance.

All Because Of You: Kirara & Kyoubou
*episode 1*
I know it hurt Sango that I left her behind. I can’t explain it, but this is something I have to do; and I have to do it on my own. I don’t know if I’m going to kill him or try to save him; but it has to be now. Maybe I’m being childish. Maybe I’m just following my instincts. Maybe it’s something else; I really don’t care. This is what I’m doing. It’s what I must do, what I choose to do, and what I want to do. I don’t know why, but it’s my responsibility to bring this to a close.

Bullet The Blue Sky: Tattoimaru’s weapon
*episode 9*
“WIND SCAR!”
As the energy wave travels toward him, Tattoimaru tries to counter it with the Taiyou. When the light from the hammer dims, he sees that while weakened, the half-demon’s attack is still coming. In an instant, a black flash occurs. As the wind scar rips through the place where the boy had been standing, Kyoubou sets him down nearby. Inuyasha says, “Quit movin around!” Tattoimaru replies with a hammer strike. Damn it Inuyasha thinks, I can’t hit’im, and I can’t use my backlash wave; that attack is just too damn fast As the two continue, Kagome hears, “Kagome!” Miroku and Sango have just arrived. Miroku says, “Judging by the fact that he seems to be standing even with Inuyasha; I take it that Tattoimaru has the demon weapon.” Kagome nods. “Very well,” Miroku says, “Tell Inuyasha to get back; I will suck the weapon into my windtunnel. There is no other choice.” Kagura says, “I wouldn’t.” As the others look to her she says, “The Saimyoushou have been gathering here; in far greater numbers than I have ever seen.” Taking her own initiative, Kirara moves to join Inuyasha. Turning his attention to her, Tattoimaru says, “You will not interfere!” As he raises the hammer, Kyoubou, his eyes momentarily orange, knocks the boy off his feet. “I have you now!” Inuyasha shouts. He is in midair heading for the boy. Suddenly, he is enveloped in a black cloud. “Fog?” Kagome asks. “No,” Kagura says, “Insects.” A cloud of poisonous insects has enveloped Inuyasha and dragged him to the ground. As he struggles to slice them aside, an unending stream of them flock to him. Charging into the cloud, Kirara’s flames shoot outward enveloping the insects and the half-demon. Accepting that his enemies are now distracted, Tattoimaru turns to his again docile pet. “I am sick of you!” he shouts. “You continue to defy my will; well I have had enough. DIE!” Slamming the hammer against the demon, he sends Kyoubou flying. Badly hurt, the flame-cat stagers to his feet. His red eyes look to his master, awaiting the finishing blow. As Tattoimaru raises the Taiyou, he suddenly hears, “Hiraikotsu!” Enraged and offended, Sango has sent her weapon hurtling at the boy. Unphased, he moves his own weapon to block it. The Hiraikotsu slams against the hammer which pulses. To the surprise of everyone there, the boomerang pulses back. As Tattoimaru watches in horror, the Taiyou is pushed back. Unable to hold the weapon; the boy lets go and barely manages to duck beneath the slayer’s weapon. The hammer goes flying and the boy huddles into a ball. Suddenly, the insects who had been trying to reach Inuyasha through Kirara’s flames swarm to Tattoimaru. Suspended in a living cloud, the boy and his weapon are carried away.

Bullet The Blue Sky: Tattoimaru’s weapon
*episode 10*
Kagura says, “I can follow him.” Miroku says, “That would be unwise. He may have been beaten, but the power of that weapon could still kill you.” Turning, the others see Sango approaching the fireball. Out of it come Inuyasha and Kirara; both unharmed. As the others rush to join them, the three turn to Kyoubou. His eyes are still red, but they flash back to orange every few seconds. As Sango takes a step forward, he turns and runs. Kagome shouts, “Are you guys ok?” Inuyasha says, “We’re fine; right?” Sango is bending to Kirara. To the slayer who has known the cat for her entire life, Kirara seems uncertain. Then she changes. She takes several steps in the direction Kyoubou had left in. As Sango moves to follow, she stops and turns to the slayer. Something in her friend’s eyes make Sango stop. Kirara turns and takes flight. Kagura says, “Well, come on…” As the demoness is reaching for her feather, Sango says, “…no.” Kagome asks, “Are we just gonna let her go it alone?” Sitting down on the ground, Sango says, “Yes; she needs to go now. I’m going to wait for her; right here, until she comes back.” Inuyasha says, “Fine, then we’re stayin.” Sango says, “No, this village is no more. There are no survivors. I want all of you to go find a village and wait there…or continue on the journey.” Kohaku says, “Sister, we’ll wait with you…” Her voice cracking, Sango says, “Just go!” The group stands, none of them sure what to do. Kohaku turns from his sister and starts walking; everyone else follows.

Bullet The Blue Sky: Tattoimaru’s weapon
*episode 7*
As Inuyasha and Tattoimaru face off, Kyoubou and Inuyasha’s friends’ pullback in opposite directions. The others notice that Kagome seems more nervous than she usually does when Inuyasha is in battle. When asked why she says, “Well…that weapon, the area where he used it looks like the aftermath of Hiroshima. I hope that thing isn’t giving off radiation.” Kohaku says, “What?” Kagura replies, “Hiroshima is a castle of the Mori clan hundreds of kilometers to the west. I’ve flown over that area; it looks nothing like this.” Kagome says, “No, it’s…complicated.” Shippo says, “That other thing, whatever it is, can’t hurt us now; and Inuyasha can take care of himself.” Kagome says, “Well excuse me for worrying; but I might like to have children someday.” Kagura says, “Don’t worry Kagome; I’m sure Inuyasha will be just fine.” Turning bright red, Kagome shouts, “That’s not what I meant!”

Bullet The Blue Sky: Tattoimaru’s weapon
*episode 8*
“That’s not what I meant!”
As he hears Kagome shout, Inuyasha thinks, “If she’s got that much energy she must be alright. Good, now…” Inuyasha charges Tattoimaru. As much as he would like to not kill the boy, Inuyasha knows that if he pulls his punches now he’ll probably end up dead. The boy unleashes another attack which throws the half-demon back. Showing his usual strategic brilliance, Inuyasha repeats his direct attack. Tattoimaru blasts once again; but Inuyasha isn’t that stupid. As the blast hits, Inuyasha leaps upward and tucks himself into a ball. Instead of repelling him; the attack thrusts him upward. Before Tattoimaru can react, Inuyasha is diving toward him. With centimeters to spare, the boy raises his weapon. The Tetsusaiga slams against the Taiyou with a resounding clang. For several seconds, Inuyasha hangs suspended above the boy. Then a pulse of energy lifts him clear and hefts him back. Despite the added strengths of their wielders, the hammer proved slightly stronger than the sword. Frustrated, Inuyasha shouts, “Oh ya!?! Take this; WIND SCAR!”
