Synchronicity: Bringing back Sesshomaru
*episode 2*
A day has past since Kohaku confronted Tattoimaru, and Sango and he haven’t exchanged five words. Kagome has been trying to calm her friend, with little luck. They have all returned to Kaede’s village and Inuyasha and Kagome have given the others the barebones outline of their encounter with Da-ku Koneko. Finally having attained some measure of her composure, Sango confronts her brother. “Why? Tell me why you did it.” Kohaku says, “Because you couldn’t.” Puzzled, she asks, “What do you mean, I couldn’t.” He says, “None of you would have killed him.” Sango says, “That means you should?” Kohaku turns away, “You wouldn’t understand.” Sango grabs him by the shoulder and forcibly turns him toward her. “Explain it to me.” she commands. Sighing, Kohaku says, “I don’t know if she told you; but, before he took the shards from Kagura, Tattoimaru whispered something in my ear. He thought I was unconscious. He said, I could have been the one he chose. That I would have been a better son then he would be for Naraku. But that I had been too weak, and that now it was too late.” He continues, “Naraku offered that to me; that I could become like him. But even with all the control he had over me, I was still able to refuse. That boy, he didn’t need convincing. He was eager to become like that monster. If he completes that transformation, he could become more powerful and more evil than Naraku. He has to be stopped, and there’s only one way to do that.” Sango asks, “Is human life so worthless to you?” Kohaku says, “I’ve already spilt too much blood; what’s one more body?” Hanging her head, Sango walks away. Synchronicity: Bringing back Sesshomaru
*episode 1*
Sesshomaru, Jaken, Rin, and Aha-Unn travel in their typical arrangement. It has been over a week since their ill fated pursuit of Naraku and little has happened. One item of note, Rin spent an unprecedented amount of time displeased with her lord; nearly five minutes. Following the encounters in Kanna’s ice cave, Rin began to create a series of songs praising the foxling Shippo. After two days of this, Sesshomaru informed her that if she mentioned him one more time then her travels with him would end. There fallowed an intense period of animosity between the two which was broken by Rin’s inability to stay mad at anyone and her easily distractible nature. In the middle of her sulk, they came upon a meadow and she ran off, all thoughts of Shippo forgotten, and began to gather flowers. Since then, they she has not mentioned her new hero; however, she has composed several new melodies which, if she has put words to them, she does not sing. It is early in the morning, and the four (or is it five?) approach a lake. The lake itself is obscured by morning fog and they know of it only by the moisture in the air and the gradient of the ground. Picking up a strangely familiar scent, the lord gestures for his entourage to stop. He proceeds toward the lake shore until he sees the outline of a figure. Recognizing the form, but realizing that the scent is wrong, he proceeds with caution. Comments (9) |

Why Should I Cry For You: Kohaku vs Tattoimaru
*episode 8*
Naraku is sitting just inside the entrance to his cave when Da-ku walks up behind him. A single poisonous insect hovers in front of the demon. Naraku seems deep in thought, and his woman lets him be. Suddenly, he brings his hands together smashing the bug. He rises to his feet and begins to storm around the chamber. “What’s wrong?” Da-ku asks. He says, “The Saimyoushou refuse to tell me of my son. From the first time I allowed him to use my poisonous insects, he has shown great proficiency at commanding them. But now they seem to be obeying him over me.” Da-ku says, “Maybe you’re over reacting. Do you think he has something to hide?” Naraku says, “He must. He wouldn’t risk my finding out how much control he has if he didn’t.” Da-ku says, “Maybe he isn’t controlling them. Maybe they’re protecting him on his own.” Naraku frowns; Da-ku says, “If you’re so worried, let me kill him. Then he won’t be able to hurt us.” A smile spreads on Naraku’s face. He says, “You seek to turn me against him. Then you would have me to yourself.” Da-ku laughs, “Of course.” Wordlessly, the two head deeper into the cave to the chamber they share.

Why Should I Cry For You: Kohaku vs Tattoimaru
*episode 6*
Kyoubou leaps, Kirara intercepts him. He takes flight, but he isn’t running. Reaching the treetops, he turns and attacks. The two struggle, but neither one does any serious damage. They both try, but neither of them has much experience with aerial combat. Finally, Kyoubou lands a glancing blow on Kirara’s back and she falls; however, she grabs his left hind foot with her teeth and pulls him down with her. The two collide with the ground. Dazed, Kirara takes a moment to gather her senses, then she looks at her opponent. For an instant, his eyes are orange, and the look in them screams, “Finnish it!” Then his eyes return to red and he leaps to his feet, pushing away from her. Getting to her feet, Kirara turns to face him and, with new vigor, lunches a fresh assault. After a few tumbles, Kirara ends up standing with Kyoubou beneath her; her claws pressed to his throat. She prepares to strike…then she hesitates. Her eyes drift to the inflamed scar on his right shoulder; and while she is distracted, he knocks her off of him and bolts away. Comments (5) |

Why Should I Cry For You: Kohaku vs Tattoimaru
*episode 7*
Kohaku tenses the muscles in his right arm. “Better make this clean.” he thinks. He raises his scythe and begins to throw it. As he does, Tattoimaru turns to run. Kohaku is letting go of his weapon, when he hears, “NO!!!” He gives a slight tug on the chain; he knows that he has waited too long. The weapon collides with a tree, and the younger boy scampers away. As Kohaku turns to look, his sister and her friends arrive on the scene. Simultaneously, Kyoubou dashes past them all and grabs his master. As the two take flight, Kirara walks in from the same direction. Sango walks to her brother. Smack! Kohaku gets whiplash from the smack. “What were you thinking!?!” she demands, on the verge of tears. Kohaku says, “Sister…” He turns away. Comments (6) |

Why Should I Cry For You: Kohaku vs Tattoimaru
*episode 5*
Kohaku hefts his scythe and takes a step forward; Tattoimaru takes a step back. The slayer says, “Don’t even think about it. You’ll be dead before you g\o 3 feet. Your,” he loads the word with scorn, “father made sure that I was very good at it.” Tattoimaru freezes. Kohaku says, “For all the power you may have one day, right now you are nothing more than a mortal child; and unlike me, you didn’t spend your whole life training to kill monsters.” The demon’s disciple is paralyzed with fear. His eyes begin to dart around, hope to see his protector and slave. Kohaku says, “He won’t get here in time. Kirara is a match for him, and her heart is in it.” Anger flashes in the younger boy’s eyes. He says, “You won’t kill me! I’m human.” Kohaku says, “I’ve killed humans before; but that would pose a problem for my sister or Inuyasha. They would want to try to save you. They’d think that you were being used, manipulated. But I know better. You’re as evil as any demon!” Kohaku takes a deep breath, “Enough.” he says. “Let’s get this over with.” Comments (6) |

I’d like to thank you for taking my polls. Big surprise, you guys like Sesshomaru and are concerned about his recent abcence. Well, I had to let lordsesshomaru borrow him for his Jerry Springer fanfics. But now I have him back and you can expect to see him soon. Also, I’m pleased to see that a majority of you enjoy the liberal helpings of pain I inflict on Miroku. Those aren’t going to end anytime soon. lol Comments (4) |

Why Should I Cry For You: Kohaku vs Tattoimaru
*episode 4*
Kohaku and Kirara fly silently through the morning. The boy has no way of knowing how close they are, but he trusts the flame-cat to find their quarry. Suddenly, Kirara dives and sets down just outside of a clearing in a forest. Kohaku silently slides from he back and begins to move in the direction her attention is focused on. As he reaches the edge of the clearing, he sees a boy kneeling over an injured animal. At first glance, one might think that he was helping it, but further observation would show that he is torturing it with a knife. Beside the boy is a two tailed flame-cat with blue black fur. As the two draw near, the cat turns his red eyes toward the slayer and the female. The male is about to give a warning, when something causes his eyes to fade to orange momentarily. The cat remains silent but begins to tense and untense his mussels. Unwilling to take advantage of the opportunity he has been given, Kohaku steps out into the clearing and shakes the chain attached to his scythe. The boy looks up and sees the two, then he turns to his companion. He takes the butt of his knife and strikes the inflamed scar on the cat’s right shoulder. The male’s eyes return to fully red and he steps defensively in front of the boy. Kohaku says, “Tattoimaru, isn’t it?” Tattoimaru replies, “And you are Kohaku. Where’s the mutt?” Kohaku says, “We’re alone now; just the four of us.” Tattoimaru says, “Well that’s no fun. Kyoubou, kill them!” The flame cat pounces, but Kirara intercepts him. The two tumble off and then head upward. Kohaku says, “It seems you haven’t thought this through. You see, now it’s just the two of us; and now you and now you will die.” Comments (7) |
