The Soul Cages: Frozen In Time
*episode 10*
Sango and Inuyasha are, for lack of a better word, cuddling. As they lie there, the far chamber wall turns from blue to purple. When the light dims, Inuyasha looks up and says, “Sango, I think we may have a way out.” She is very comfortable and says, “We can check it out in a few minutes. But now, let me rest for a little longer.” He nods and settles back down; holding her. Suddenly, their reprieve is broken by an angry shout, “Inuyasha! Sango!” It is Kagome, and frankly, she’s pissed. Inuyasha says, “Uh…Kagome…it’s not what it looks like!” Kagome shouts “MINE!!! Mine, mine, mine!” Sango says, “I know! I know he’s yours and I would never…” Kagome cuts her off, “NO!!!” That said, she jumps on them and, like a child with her parents, forces her way between them. Then she pulls the blanket back up over her and settles in with a contented sigh. Sango and Inuyasha are still in shock. Sango is the first to recover; she takes her own advice. She snuggles up to Kagome’s back and goes back to bed. Inuyasha continues to sit there; he has the most pathetically perplexed look on his face. Finally, he gives a shrug which says, “Oh well.” He lies down, puts his arm around both of them, and goes to sleep.
