Even Better Than The Real Thing: The first of the new
*episode 3*
Miroku and Kagura are flying on the wind as they search of Kohaku. The monk is calm while intent on his task, but Kagura seems upset. Finally he says, “You seem agitated. You are worried about Kohaku.” Kagura nods wordlessly. The monk says, “There was a time, not to recently I might add, when that idea would have struck me as absurd.” The demoness shoots a venomous look at him. He explains, “I was not attempting to remind you of your unpleasant past; I was merely commenting on how much you have grown. And I think Kohaku is responsible for a good deal of that growth. You two have become close.” Kagura asks, “Are you about to give me the demons and humans speech? I gave it to Kohaku and his sister gave it to me. You don’t have to tell me about it.” He says, “I wasn’t going to. I was just saying that it’s good that you’re worried. But at the same time, try not to. We will find him.” The monk rests a hand on her shoulder in a comforting manner. After an initial reaction of distrust, Kagura turns her attention back to the search. However, Miroku’s eyes are still on her. His hand does not stay on her shoulder. When she feels him rubbing her butt, she shoves him away from her. Seeing that they are ridding a feather several meters above the ground, the monk receives a participatory lesson in gravity.
