Even Better Than The Real Thing: The first of the new
*episode 2*
After ten minutes of pointless blindness, Kagura summons all of her strength into a dance of the dragon. Their smokescreen gone, the puppets begin to fallback. Using a single windscar, Inuyasha blows them all to shreds. With the threat eliminated, the group reunites. “Is everyone ok?” Kagome asks. The others nod, but Sango and Kagura are looking around in concern. “Where’s Kohaku?” the slayer asks. Inuyasha begins to sniff the air. “Damn it all ” he shouts. “That fog messed with the scents. Now everything smells like Naraku.” Kagome says, “Well...” She pauses in thought. Miroku asks, “What is it Kagome, did you sense something?” She says, “It was weak, but I thought I sensed a sacred jewel shard earlier. I don’t feel it any more, but I think it went somewhere over there.” Inuyasha asks, “Think you could be less specific?” Kagome says, “I’m sorry, I got turned around in the fog. I’m pretty sure it was in there.” As she talks, she gives a sweeping gesture including a third of the horizon. The monk says, “We need to split up to search. Kagome, take Shippo and go with Inuyasha. Sango, you’ll move fastest with just you and Kirara. I shall travel with Kagura.” There are general nods of assention, however, Kagura is not pleased.
