Why Should I Cry For You: Kohaku vs Tattoimaru
*episode 1*
It’s the day after Da-ku attacked, and Inuyasha is uncomfortable. Kagome is back on her feet, and seeing her is what’s upsetting him. Aside from all the issues left over from yesterday, there is one thing which is supremely getting on his nerves. Between his blood and burns from the lightning, her uniform is totaled; and Kagura still has her other one. Rather than letting Inuyasha just go back to her home and have her mom give him some clothes, Kagome decided to borrow clothing from Kaede. So she’s sitting outside the old woman’s home, dressed as a priestess, and seemingly oblivious to how it’s making him feel. For one thing, she looks like Kikyo: for another, she looks a whole lot like Da-ku Koneko did after Naraku gave her clothing. Inuyasha, on the other hand, doesn’t even consider the fact that Kagome is shaken as well. He doesn’t see that she is more than a little scared to learn that there is an evil version of herself running around out there; and that she needs all the reassurances she can get that she really has spiritual powers she can use to fight this new foe. Sadly, no relationship has perfect communication; theirs less so than most. Suddenly, a wind picks up carrying a medley of familiar scents. As Inuyasha looks up, he calls, “Kagome, look.” As the two watch, Kagura lands her feather at the edge of the village. The demoness, who is now sporting a new kimono, hurries toward the priestess’ house with Sango, Miroku, and Shippo following. Inuyasha is surprised to see that Kirara and Kohaku seem to not be with them. When they get close enough, the monk shouts, “We have a problem!”
