Lazarus Heart: Found in the mist
*episode 15*
Sango and Kiri stand together in the main room of the shrine. She says, “Well, I should go now.” He says, “Wait; give me your weapon.” Puzzled, Sango takes the Hiraikotsu off her shoulder and unwraps it. Taking it from her, Kiri closes his eyes and seems to focus deeply. The Hiraikotsu begins to glow. When the glowing stops, He hands it back to Sango. Taking it, she says, “What? It’s lighter.” Kiri nods, “Yes, it will also be harder to break. I have blessed it; it is now a sacred relic. It will do greater damage to those who are truly wicked. It is the only way I can help you in the battles ahead.” Reaching out to take his hand, Sango says, “Thank you.” After a pause, she turns and they walk out to join the others. The group seems ready and they turn expectantly to the god. “Sango,” he says pointing, “part the mist.” Taking a moment to comprehend, Sango steps clear of the others. Facing in the indicated direction, she hurls her weapon; it slices through the mist and the mist parts behind it.
