Bullet The Blue Sky: Tattoimaru’s weapon
*episode 6*
Kirara lands on the devastated mountainside. Her riders dismount and begin to examine the wasteland. Miroku walks to a small stone pillar jutting out above the rubble. He says, “This was the epicenter; the blast came from here.” Sango approaches him. He continues, “This pillar was protected from the blast.” Sango says, “Some demon weapons protect the user.” Miroku nods, “My thoughts exactly. Here,” he points in front of the pillar, “A barrier stood here for many years; then it was broken. But not by the blast.” He goes further, “The barrier sealed a demonic aura of great power. Someone released that power and then it destroyed this place.” Sango says to her partner, “I have to hand it to him; he’s good.” Ignoring the compliment, Miroku says, “What is unclear is weather the demon turned on its liberator or if it merely wished to show its might.” Sango says, “You would think that if it was this powerful, it would have freed itself; unless…” “Yes,” Miroku says, “Unless. Unless it required something to unlock its power. Something like a wielder. I suspect that it was, in fact, a demonic weapon which was sealed here. Whoever unlocked this tomb now has possession, if not control of that weapon.” Sango asks, “What do you mean control?” Miroku says; “The strongest demon weapons have their own will. Only an equally strong mind could control such a weapon. Others would be controlled by it. Now, to have broken the barrier; this person would have to have power. But if his strength is not his own…call it a premonition, but I think we need to rejoin the others.”
