Running To Stand Still: The hidden ones
*episode 5*

At nearly 3 hours have past and Miroku isn’t doing too well. Kagome, who was woken up as soon as Yamaneko left, has been trying to do something for him; but without her medicines she is virtually helpless. Her desperate, even frantic pleas that her medkit be brought to her have fallen on def ears. The guard called Kouu brought pillows towels and water; but whispered that she could do nothing else. Kagome has settled for making him comfortable and keeping a moist towel on his feverish brow. Unable to stay awake any longer, Kagome has handed the duty off to Kohaku and gone to sleep. The boy is kneeling over the fitfully sleeping monk, when suddenly Miroku’s eyes open. In a shaky voice, he says, “Sa…Sango?” Kohaku says, “No, I’m not Sango. Miroku, can you hear me?” Inuyasha says, “It’s messin with his head; and you got’a admit, there’s a family resemblance.” Kohaku turns his attention back to the monk. “Sango…” he says, “I…I wanted to…” Kohaku says, “No last words; tell my sister yourself when you seeeeee!” Inuyasha groans as he sees Miroku’s hand tenderly stroking Kohaku’s butt. *Smack* Inuyasha says, “Family resemblance alright.”
