Shape Of My Heart: Shippo’s fate
*episode 7*
Tired of watching the spectacle of Sesshomaru’s helplessness, Tattoimaru whistles to his bugs. Suddenly, a swarm of them envelope him. He entirely disappears, except for his right arm holding the hammer. The swarm moves as a hole, and the hammer rises into the air. With surprising speed, the cloud swarms past Sesshomaru, with letting the hammer swing in the passing. Sesshomaru blocks the attack; but the swarm comes again and again. Sesshomaru, the proud and justly so, finds himself forced onto the defensive by the Saimyoushou’s speed and Taiyou’s raw power. He is in no danger, he can mange to block the easily predictable swings; but his efforts to counter prove useless. When ever he strikes at the cloud, his sword passes right through. Although the boy’s body must be with in, he can’t seem to hit it. The arm itself is protected by the demonic aura of the weapon; and the demon lord is left looking, at best, incompetent. Finally, the swarm pulls up and away to a safe distance. Tattoimaru’s upper body emerges and he calls to Sesshomaru, “I think we’ll call it a draw. I’ll be more powerful soon, then we’ll finish this.” Not quite admitting defeat, the demon calls, “Wait, one thing; what is your relationship to Naraku?” The boy says, “I don’t feel like explaining; but why don’t you ask your little brother; he knows.” With that, the cloud vanishes into the sky.
