Shape Of My Heart: Shippo’s fate
*episode 8*
At Koga’s request, his and his companion’s over night stay has grown into a weekend long event. During this time, the uneasy peace between him and his rival has been kept…mostly. The others have mostly back off, except for Shippo, as the two keep constant vigil over Kagome. This is only broken when she returns home. Inuyasha, mostly because the wolf can’t, makes a point of accompanying her on these excursions. To counter this, the wolf works extra hard to live up to that descriptor when he is with her. Thanks to this, Kagome is at her wits end. Although she allows Inuyasha to come with her to her own time, she tells him in privet that this time she intends to get away from both of them and that he can stay with her little brother if he wants to be here. Meanwhile, the others are passing a quiet afternoon. Koga has admitted that it’s time to leave and has told his pack to be ready to move at first light. Shippo is sitting alone by the well, drawing with the crayons Kagome gave him. He wants to be right there when she gets back, so that maybe he can have a few minutes with her before those two start going at it again. Shippo has almost begun to long for the good old days with just Inuyasha to deal with.
