Mesuinu: a tale of Inuyasha
*episode 6*
A week has past since the castle; and Mesu has taken Inuyasha on what she says is a detour. They are walking through a forest and she says, “I’ve been here before; and I think it’s around here somewhere.” Inuyasha says, “What is?” Mesu stops in thought, then she sets out running. Inuyasha follows and almost runs straight into a pool of water. Mesu is kneeling beside it. “Bingo.” she says. “What?” he asks. She dips her hand in and gestures for him to do the same. Inuyasha kneels and slips his hand into the water. He says, “It’s…warm.” She says, “It’s a hot spring; you bathe in it. I don’t want to wait; you want to bathe together?” Inuyasha stares at her and stutters. She says, “Easy boy; it’s just a bath.” Inuyasha turns around and mutely walks away. He sits down with his back to her, blushing like a rose. After several seconds he nervously glances over his shoulder to see if she really is getting undressed. Her armor is lying disguarded; and as he looks she drops her robe. Inuyasha’s head snaps back around so fast he gets whiplash.
