Mesuinu: a tale of Inuyasha
*episode 11*
Mesu walks back to Inuyasha. He sitting, silently waiting. When he sees her, he calls, “You done?” She says, “Ya, the biter’s gone; for now. Where’s yours?” He tells her, “I told him to get lost.” “Why?” she asks. “He seemed nice.” Inuyasha says, “Ya, that’s easy for you to say. You spent 5 seconds with him and he flattered you. Trust me; he gets real annoying real fast.” Mesu comes and sits next to him. He asks, “What did he want?” She tells him, “Nothing unexpected. He wants me to come home.” Inuyasha asks, “Are you going to?” She doesn’t answer. After a long silence he asks, “You hear me?” She says, “Ya, I heard you; and no, I’m not going back, not now.” Almost as an after thought she adds, “Not yet.”
