Not a rerun
Kagome says, “These flowers represent death.” “What!?!” Inuyasha shouts defensively. She says, “You don’t have to yell; I’m not blaming you!” He gets up and walks out of the room muttering, “See if I try and be nice to you again.” Kagome sits there in thought. “And cut!” J says. Inuyasha pokes his head back in the door. J says, “That’s a wrap; good work people.” Inuyasha asks, “So we don’t have to do it again?” J says, “No, you finally did it right. You two have earned the night off, right after the meeting.” Kagome stands up and she and Inuyasha high-five.
Inside the author’s head
*episode 1*
J and his most of his cast are gathered in his dorm room. Inuyasha is there, as are Kagome, Shippo, Miroku, Sango, Kirara, Naraku, Kagura, Kohaku, Koga, and a number of original characters. If one tried to apply logic or physics to the situation, they might realize that that’s an awful lot of people to fit in such a small room; but let’s do neither. J stands up and clears his throat…the characters go on talking. “EVERYBODY SHUTUP AND LISTEN TO ME!!!” J yells. He’s learned in the time he and the cast have been together that there are no inbetween steps worth taking. Gradually, the room falls silent; except for Miroku talking on J’s cell phone. Sango whacks him over the head and grabs the phone. Satisfied that this is as attentive as they’re going to get, J says, “Listen up people; today we finished work on the last episode of the little Inu story arc. That means that your vacation is officially over. Inuyasha, Sesshomaru, I’m not talking to the two of you; but everybody else has been freeloading for quite a while now. You eat my snacks, you use my computer, some of you even rack up huge phone bills.” he looks at Miroku. “Today, all of that ends. We have to get ready for the comedy fanfic; that’s our first priority. After that, we go back to where we left off in the other story; you all know what that means, but there are some points I feel I need to make. Miroku, look, you can keep on doing what you’ve been doing with the girls from the other floors of the dorm. But let me make this abundantly clear; you will have to be awake, here, sober, and ready to work by 10AM on days when you’re in the story, clear?” Miroku sighs and nods; Naraku snickers. J says, “Let’s see if you stay amused; you’re next. Naraku, you’re not in the comedy fanfic so you have some time to get ready; spend it on the treadmill. You’ve let yourself go; lose ten pounds, or I’m cutting off your chocolate…all of it!” Naraku chokes on the afore mention Snickers. J says, “The rest of you, I have relative faith in: don’t disappoint me. Now one more thing and we’re done. To fill space between stories we’re running a kind of documentary. You all know Mishotarup, my friend, our publisher. Well, she’s going to be interviewing a number of you. Make her feel welcome; cooperate, or else. Ok, that’s all I have to say. Any questions? No? Fine.”
