I don't want a lot for Christmas...

hey guys! well, the year seems to be going faster every day. it suddenly became mid-winter over here in the Netherlands: we gotz snow. now, sure, it looks really lovely as long as everyone stays inside and no one goes out to mess it up, but I still can't stand snow.. I've ranted about this enough times, so I'll leave it at a: Bah, Humbug! my grandmother is back in the hospital. my mom and aunt went to see her on wednesday and she could hardly get out of bed and she had a high fever. so the doc managed to get her admitted again and now it appears she's doing a bit better. what's so weird is that she seems to have gotten so old, so fast.. it worries me, but it's also good to know that being back in the hospital helps ^^ yesterday was good. it was entirely spent with Silver, doing shopping and stopping by at his work to pick up his Christmas box ^^ it was funny to be at his work, especially since everyone else was just working normally and most people looked at us with a look on their face like: What the heck did Silver just walk in with?! I got a little tour through the work place and got to see the test cell, which looked interesting, but it didn't really make sense to me. too many difficult words and too little of an attention span.. we also went to see I Am Legend. whoa. that's pretty much all I've got to say about the movie really.. it's really heavy, emotionally that is. the effects are great, but due to no background music, it scares the heck out of you. what's so great about the movie is that you can just feel the fear, the despair, the insanity that comes over someone who is completely alone in this world and has to worry about not getting killed and eaten by mutant zombies. it was a really good movie, though I must've missed a good half an hour by staring at my knees and covering my eyes with my hands ^^" when I got home, my mom decided to nag. great fun she's always assuming I'm completely broke and for some reason she also seems to forget that I've got a JOB, which in turn, earns me MONIES. -_-' she decided I have to turn in my ATM card. like hell I will. sure, maybe I've gone overboard on Christmas shopping, but to be honest, as long as I can pay my phonebill, there's nothing to worry about. I'm so sick of her trying to still control my life.. argh, I need to get out of this house, cause this is once again turning into hell for me. just wish I could take Quinty with me *pouts* well, I need to get out of bed and ready to head out into that dreaded 'winter-wonderland'.. I'm able to send out another package YAY! that's two down, two more to go.. so sorry things won't be in time for the holidays. to be honest, I don't think it's gonna be in time for New Year's.. but it's the thought that counts right? postly LOLcat: MCL, I'm outti PS: made some wallpapers lately, one is really fun, cause it's actually 3D ^^

It's coming...

hey guys! let's talk Version Vibrant for a bit. the dreaded new look to TheO and the possible demolition of MyO.. now, I've been dreading this change for a while now, especially since Bossman let us know that he'd be changing the blog aspect of TheOtaku. I've seen the trailer for VV, but, as to be expected, no view was given over the blogs. Adam, or Bossman as I and others like to call him, hasn't really given any formal information on the whole deal (though maybe in his blog, I don't know). this is what he said on the matter on the main site, somewhere hidden between comments though: Adam 'Bossman' Posted Yesterday Well, as you might know theO and myO are merging with the new version. Our new 'system' for 'blogs' will be much different and none of the customizations will carry over. I'll probably let people keep their myO's the way they are for historical significance, letting them still add posts, etc. but we won't support it or link to them officially. We'd instead encourage people to move to our new, different system (which is hopefully hack-proof) hack-proof, good (I can't say I've ever been hacked, though that one time with the AOL-translated post made it look like it hehe ^^) as for the other changes, I really don't believe that Adam is making a wise choice in this. unfortunately for us, the people who regularly go to the Main Site (that's TheOtaku) don't really use their MyO much or at all. the people who I do see regularly on here (you guys) don't seem to visit the Main Site that much... so I guess I feel like Adam doesn't really have a good idea on what his Bloggers want, but he does know what it would take for the non-bloggers to start blogging, or at least use their MyO page.. I'm not sure if I'm making any sense, but I guess what I'm trying to say is that I'm really afraid that this place is going to fall apart. meaning I would lose contact with a lot of very dear friends (that's you guys again ^_~) it's funny that LS said this week would be his last on MyO.. for this year that is, but judging by the coming changes, who knows what might happen? not to say that our dear LS is leaving, but it's just ironic that this mention came up right before I got to know a LITTLE bit more about the changes to the blog, considering VV. a main problem is still that Bossman doesn't seem to want to disclose anything about the changes to the look and feel of the blogs.. I hate changes and I hate them even more when I have no idea of what's to come.. I just hope that things will turn out alright. I can't judge or bash something that I haven't even seen or used yet (or I'd be my mom *shudders*), but I can be concerned, right? well, on to my normal life ^^ yesterday was a quiet day, filled with annoyance over the bimbos in the morning, extensive Christmas shopping in the afternoon and a Christmas dinner with work in the evening ^^ so everything except the morning was good hehe. I spent way too much money on gifts for Silver ^^" and I still want to buy him so much more.. only problem is, I gotta make sure I'm still able to pay my phonebill in a few days.. and considering Silver already gave me money for that, I can't just blow everything on gifts hehe ^^" so I've decided on maybe a few little last-minute gifts for him and one each for his mother and her boyfriend. after all, I've only bought one gift for my parents too. I also just had to spoil myself a little ^^" I got my hands on the 15th volume of FMA ^^ it was good, though it seemed a bit like a filler to me *shrugs* it's probably neccesary to understand the ending hehe ^^ and I bought the first volumes of S.A (a Shojo Beat manga, I've grown to love those) and Someday's Dreamers. the Christmas dinner with work was so much fun ^^ we went to the store where I first worked (one town over)to meet up with the personel there, had a few drinks and snacks and then headed over to the restaurant. the food was good and I really had a great time ^^ it was great to see my old co-workers again and catch up with them ^^ I got home rather late and I did have a couple beers. thank goodness I start this afternoon and didn't have to be at work at 9.30 am (which is now hehe) I get to have a little more sleep YAY! let's see.. I've received more of the ordered gifts (or so Silver told me) so I should be able to send out at least one more package. though now that I think about it, I've received 3, which means I still got 3 coming in, which means I might not be able to send anything out at all.. oh well, it won't be on time for Christmas anymore anyway, so a few days more doesn't really matter either ^^" that's about all I've got for today. I'll try and visit you guys, but I can't make any promises ^^" tomorrow I'll be at Silver's. we're going to do some last shopping for the holidays and we're gonna go see I Am Legend ^^ I'm really curious about that movie, cause the trailer looked pretty good ^^ postly LOLthingies: MCL, I'm outti PS: Happy (late) Birthday to Grifter-san ^^

make way for jolly saint Jay!

hey guys! well, this should be a full post, one of my more normal ones hehe ^^' I know I've been completely out of the loop lately.. I just couldn't stay behind my laptop for longer than the time it took to quickly check my emails and other messages.. the words started dancing and my head felt like it might explode.. and not into candy, like when I get into the vicinity of a kitten ^^ but, luckily, on saturday, my glasses were done and I could go and pick them up ^^ and as promised, some snazzy snapshots were taken on sunday ^^' I don't have to keep them up all the time. just when working with a computer, while following classes (powerpoint presentations..) and while reading. so that only makes.. about 80% of my time ^^" basically, I don't need them when I eat or sleep. oh and watching tv isn't too bad without them either ^^ and I guess I can work without them on too oh well, they make the world a bit more clear for me, I don't have to strain my eyes to work on the comp or read anymore, which is a great relief ^^ I've already taken on the habit of looking over my glasses from time to time.. mostly to check out something in my room or to talk with people.. I shouldn't do that too much though, cause that IS causing me headaches again ^^" it also came right on time, cause at the moment I'm in full blast making a website for the group project. it's about the city trip we have to develop for Marrakesh and it gives me a chance to REALLY play around with HTML now ^^ thankfully, I got some great resources for codes (props go to Shishou-chan and Ken-Ken ^^ links to their sites are in my intro ^^) this morning, we had a class from a fellow classmember who's sort of a computer wizard. he's teaching us how to use Microsoft's Expression Web, which is a nice basic program ^^ he tried to teach us the basics for CSS, but I've already decided I prefer HTML.. it just makes more sense to me hehe ^^ my theme has changed for the holidays. since I loved the Nightmare Before Christmas the first time I saw it, I decided to dedicate my site to it for a while ^^ after Christmas (maybe I'll extend that to New Year's) I think I'll change it back to the Ergo Proxy theme I've had up for a while now. I just love that one ^^ I'm still clean off my meds ^^ I know stopping cold-turkey probably wasn't the best idea ever, but it's working for me. I haven't been dizzy anymore since I've had the glasses, so that's solved ^^ and on friday, I got sick, which sort of stayed on saturday, but I really had to work.. but now, I seem to be germ-free ^^ my grandma isn't doing too well, though.. her bloodsugar is through the roof and she's just tired and old.. it's really clear that she's become an old lady now, even though I still find it hard to admit. I hate seeing her like this.. my aunt called my mom this afternoon and told her that my granny actually has to go back to the hospital again. but the stupid specialists have put a hold on the people who have to be admitted because of the holidays.. this pisses me off: if someone needs taken care of, and it's your job, DO YOUR FREAKIN' JOB! now, granny is stuck at home with more and stronger meds.. *shakes head* on the contrary, Quinty is doing better ^^ she got her last shot of antibiotics today and if she continues to eat and drink and get better like she's been doing, we don't have to go back to the vet anymore ^^ so that's a big relief. I stood up for an old lady in the bus this morning.. this action never seems to stop surprising people *shrugs* just a random comment, this was, really ^^" I was able to send out one Christmas package today ^^ though it was to Cati-chan, so I've really given up hope on sending everything out abroad in time.. right now, I'm just hoping I can even send it out BEFORE Christmas ^^" I'm still waiting on some of my ordered presents.. I did make a X-mas card this weekend ^^ it's up in my profile and free for all of you to take and save or whatever ^^" I went the lazy way and just picked an image I liked and put a little text on it. still, I think the girl somewhat resembles me, except for the fact she's drinking wine.. ok, on to your postly LOLcat and the end of this post: I just love the look on that dog's face hee-hee ^^ MCL, I'm outti.

Will someone please stop the world from spinning for a while?

hey guys! well, this past week has been.. meh.. I spend wednesday evening and all of thursday with Silver, which was good. we went to the city on thursday and he bought me an entire new outfit ^^' well, I kind of made him, cause I was freezing my legs off due to only wearing a dress ^^' in the evening, we went out to dinner to celebrate our 4 1/2 year anniversary (which is actually today YAY!!) the food was nice, but unfortunately, I felt really sick.. so I didn't eat all that much and we didn't even have desert :( but I really just wanted to go home at the time, so it was good that Silver is so darn considerate *hugs him tight* I just came back from the vet. Quinty (my cat, I was surprised to realise not everyone knew that ^^") is doing a little bit better. there's a bit more life in her now than there was on monday and tuesday. she still doesn't eat that much, but she does eat a little bit and she drinks enough water. the vet didn't want to get her under narcosis again, so he only checked real quick and gave her some more shots to stop the infection. we have to go back on monday for another checkup, more shots and to discuss what the next course of action will be if she's not doing better. thanks for all your kind words considering her ^^ know that it means a lot to me and to her as well ^^ special thanks go out to Kikyo-chan, you're such a sweetie!! (I still can't comment to your site though, I don't know why ^^") as for me.. the world's spinning way too fast for me lately.. that is to say that whenever I blink or try to focus my eyes on something new, the world seems to do a little dance.. I've been dizzy for the biggest part of the week now.. if it continues into next week, I'm gonna go see the doc. though it's probably due to too little sleep, too much worrying, too little healthy food ^^" and, and this is the point where I let you all in to a little secret of mine, the fact that I haven't been taking my anti-depressants for over a week now ^^ yep, I've been clean since wednesday last week ^^ I think.. somewhere around that date anyway. I simply decided that I got sick of the pills that didn't seem to do anything and I wasn't going to take them anymore. I haven't broken down yet, which is a good thing, though in the past few days, I did cry more often than usual. but then again, I guess that's also because I'm not feeling well and because I worry about my kitty.. well, the words are starting to dance for me.. I hope my glasses are done today, with a bit of luck, I'll be able to visit and comment tonight.. if not, it'll be monday ^^ here's your postly LOLcat: MCL, I'm outti

Everyone's got 20-20 hindsight

hey guys! I know it's been radio silence from me for a while again.. let me just say that a lot has been going on -_- my granny is back home again. she got released from the hospital on sunday and though she's still weak, it's good that she's home again ^^ thanks for everyone who gave me some strength and could relate to my feelings this time *hugs go to all of you* in bad news: Quinty is sick T_T she's been throwing up and hasn't eaten or drank since yesterday.. we went to the vet yesterday and he couldn't really find anything.. she did get a shot against the ugly and itchy bald spots and scabs.. but last night, she didn't really move at all, she just lay on her pillow, being all weird and didn't really react to anything.. so this morning, my dad and me took her to the vet again. he thought that maybe she had a bit of grass stuck in her throat or nose and that's why she's been gagging and sneezing.. he put her under narcosis (or however you call that) and checked in her throat. he couldn't find anything close to grass, but he did discover a big red lump way in the back of her mouth.. this could be just an infection, so she got some antibiotics and we have to go back on friday.. when worse comes to worst though, it might be a tumor.. this means that it won't get better under the influance of antibiotics and it'll even get bigger.. the vet can't operate in that spot, so if it turns out to be a tumor, she will have to be put down T_T I'm just very worried about her, since she means so much to me.. when she came out of the marcosis, she was so funny and wobbly.. but she remains a bit drowsy it seems.. she doens't really react to anything and just lays there.. so yeah.. wish me luck and hope for the best with me, please in other news: yours truly is getting glasses! yep, since I've been bothered by headaches and dancing letters when it comes to reading and using the computer, I went and had my eyes tested.. first the test said my right eye had -2, but in further tests it turned out to just be -.25.. so I'm getting reading glasses ^^" it looks so weird, me with glasses.. but I was able to pick a nice looking pair and with a bit of luck, it'll be done on friday. so I'll try to get some snazzy snapshots of me with them on ^^" well, it's almost time for my class.. I really don't want to, I want to go back home and take care of my pookie.. but at least it's only one class and I should be back home early in the afternoon.. if all goes well ^^" by the way, my weekend was good. Silver and me had a little shopping spree hehe ^^" I also managed to pack all the Christmas gifts I have now, but I've given up hope on getting everything send out in time.. I'm still waiting for some orders to come in and then I'll be able to send everyone their packages.. so I apologise in advance in case it doesn't arrive in time *bows* your postly LOLcat before I go: I bought a book by Clive Barker, the brilliant author of Abarat. it's called Weaveworld and looks damn interesting ^^ I'll try and start in it today ^^ MCL, I'm outti (visits and comments will come when I'm able to read normally again ^^")

is this the real life, is this just fantasy?

Silvereagle hey guys! a normal post from me and it might actually be a pretty short one ^^' I'll keep the post about Marrakesh up for a while longer, just in case anyone might want to still read and comment on it (Silver.. ^_~) the pic at the end is not the camel I rode ^^' I know it can be confusing, but I can be found cuddling the camel I rode in the pictures (link's in the other post) I look not to sure about things in the pic because that camel kept pulling away his head ^^" I'm happy about the positive feedback towards PotL ^^ thanks for all your suggestions and tips and so on ^^ indeed, Kikyo-chan is right and I will try to make it more readable next time ^^ my grandmother is in the hospital because of an infection or bacteria in her knee.. she got antibiotics through a drip and had to be in the hospital for six weeks. unfortunately, her bloodsuger didn't completely agree with hospital rythm and she's had some bad episodes.. now, she's only getting a salt (saline? I should watch more House..) solution and the doc says she might be able to go back home on monday. note the MIGHT.. here's hoping ^^ almost half of my baby fish are dead.. I don't know why, but I just noticed this morning.. also, my pufferfish is still in somewhat of a comatic state.. he flaps his fins, but doesn't swim or eat *sighs* this idiot just raced through our street and was actually angry and surprised when he crashed his car *shakes head* I really don't get guys like that.. at least he's ok and the car doesn't look to be in too bad of a state.. in a way, I guess it serves him right *shrugs* the time spent with Silver the past two days was great ^^ we went into the city and I kind of wanted to shop, but Silver got pretty tired of it pretty fast.. but it was still fun ^^ too bad for him, the PS3 seems to be sold out everywhere.. it'll be hard to get it in this time of holidays and presents.. poor honey *hugs* I bought a bunch of stuff to neatly pack my presents ^^ I hope I do a good job hehe ^^" we went to his coworkers yesterday and had a great time ^^ we had a little Unreal Tournament tournament and of course, I lost horribly ^^' it was real fun to play though, and that says a lot, considering my skill in FPS *looks at Magnus-ojou-sama* ^^" I'm still more of an RPG kind of girl, but it's fun to play deathmatches against each other ^^ I think that's all the news I got for now.. Travelling the world, but home is never far from my mind.

so, as you all know by now, I'm back and returning to normal life. I've worked yesterday evening, though I couldn't seem to get myself started *shrugs* I need to get back in my old rythm. before I start my big ass motha.. (as Jess put it so very nicely ^_~) first some normal updates. my granny is still in the hospital. she was due back home today, but the doctor doesn't think it's a good idea to let her go home yet. she's pretty upset about this, but I can see why the doc says so. I don't know when she's supposed to be let out of the hospital now, but I do know she's doing alright, considering the circumstances. I'm not fully back to visiting yet. I did go around to a few sites and read the posts, but I can't seem to get myself to comment. when I do want to comment, sometimes, the site doesn't want to cooperate *sigh* so sorry Kikyo-chan ^^" I really can't help it. thanks for the welcome home, by the way ^^ I updated the Pick of the Litter. I'm still not completely sure if I'll keep the format like this, but I'm pretty happy with the first feature ^^ if anyone has something they'd like featured, send it to me with some info through PM ^^ Christmas shopping is going well. just a few more adjustments and some cards and the packages are set to go ^^ I just hope I can get them send out in time ^^" Silver is coming over later today and since he's got the day off tomorrow, I'm headed home with him tonight ^^ we're going to visit his coworkers again tomorrow, to do some videogaming. it was pretty fun last time ^^ but this time, I want to seriously try to get the 'hind bumper loose from the car *shakes head* I don't know what they used to secure that thing, but no bumper can survive so many crashes in real life ^^' (this case, it's Need for Speed.. I think ^^") ok, on to my travel report ^^ but before I do that, let me say this: it's good to be back home in my own little world where they know me ^_~ I'll try to get a slideshow with highlights set up as soon as Photobucket is willing to cooperate.. anyone have any tips on that? until that time, you can view all my pics by following this link once they're posted, I'll try to get links to the pictures of my trip-mates ^^ alright, I hope you all had a bathroom break and have snacks and drinks nearby ^^ here goes nothing! day 1: sunday after an all nighter, since the plane left damn early, I was finally able to relax for about four hours. the flight was boring and lonely. I didn't really know anyone yet and most were either asleep or too drowsy to have a decent conversation with. when we landed, the temperature wasn't much higher than in the Netherlands, so it wasn't too hard to adjust. later that day, the weather cleared up and it was plain hot. after word had gotten out about the little room issue (me getting kicked out by the bimbos) a lot of shifting had taken place. so when we got to the hotel, first we had to completely re-do the rooms ^^" much to the chagrin of the hotel personel and some of the students, I might add.. some girls stated their disgust towards the bimbos for what they had done, which was pretty sweet to me ^^ after much ado about nothing, I ended up in a room with three other girls. actually, it were two two-person rooms which shared a bathroom and little hallway. a room with a view actually, we overlooked the pool ^^ we had to do a slight city tour by foot, which wasn't the best idea on the first day. heavy culture shock and getting lost a couple times didn't really work in our advantage and everyone returned to the hotel tired and cranky. after dinner everyone settled down a bit and we did a little 'getting to know each other game'. it was alright and funny at times, though we were all still feeling a bit awkward. then, a good night's sleep on a way too hard bed led us to: day 2! monday this was the day where we.. well, what did we do actually? let me think.. ah yes, we had to visit museums.. very interesting at times, but mostly nothing interesting happened. in the morning, after the first museum, some of us headed out into the souks. these are small streets, filled with little stores and markets. the people there sure have agressive selling strategies, but it can be fun at times too ^^ you always have to bargain for a lower price and it can turn into a real sport. in the end, you still pay way too much, but at least it feels like you tried your best ^^" I got cheated into a way too high price for a henna tattoo on my hand, which wasn't completely voluntarily either *shrugs* but then again, I wanted to get one done anyway, so I might as well let it happen. mine stands for good luck in marriage. either that or: "big dumb tourist who actually fell for this".. still not sure yet ^^" in the afternoon, we headed out to a garden which is owned by Yves Saint Lorent, the fashion designer (or so I've been told ^^") I got ditched by the teacher in a very unsubtle way.. I had to been walking around with the two teachers who were with us, so I had to find a new group. I got pushed together with two of the guys and two girls, who weren't too bad ^^ I still ended up in a taxi with the bimbos though.. oh well ^^ during the whole week, I mostly tagged along with several different groups and I had good fun, even though I never really belong to any group *shrugs* you guys were right though, I did get to know people better, open up to them and actually like them hehe ^^ yay for study trips ^^ for dinner, we went to a Berber dinner show. it was so much fun, with great food and music and dancers. too bad it's all staged authenticity, but I won't bother you guys with touristical jargon and details ^^" the food was good, but I didn't like the couscous.. I did enjoy the lamb, which tasted great but was left untouched by most of the people at my table. all in all, over the week I'm surprised about my tolerance for food I'm not familiar with ^^ I figured I didn't want to live on MaccieD's for a full week hehe ^^" after dinner there was a show with horseriders and a belly-dancer. damn, that's some sexy way to move ^^' wish I had the skills (and looks for that matter) to do it ^^" I'm sure Silver would enjoy it ^_~ during the busride home, I called Silver. I was pretty homesick and lonely, but I felt a lot better after talking with him for a while ^^ day 3: tuesday in the morning, we headed to a five star hotel/resort which was wonderful!! we got a tour through the different buildings and got to see some things behind the screens ^^ I know where I'd like to go for my honeymoon hehe ^_~ I didn't take any pictures though.. in the afternoon, we had some free hours and we went out to the souks again. what I wanted to be a shopping spree turned into an endless fight with annoyance.. the bimbos were with and stopped at practically every store.. they treat people like they're filth and are very arrogant and their english simply hurts my ears >_< but enough on that ^^" in the end, I don't think I really bought anything that day.. but we did get to go to a leather processing 'factory' which looked interesting ^^ in the evening we went to a bathhouse, or hammam, and got scrubbed down and had some nice time in a sauna. it was fun, felt refreshing and tired me pretty badly ^^' when we returned to the hotel, we had dinner and then I went to sleep. day 4: wednesday wednesday was an outing to Essaouira, a small city with a harbor. it was so pretty, much less busy and chaotic when compared to Marrakesh. all the buildings had a white and blue theme, which made a great look, especially since it's next to the ocean ^^ on the way there, we stopped at an argan oil cooperative, which didn't seem too interesting at first, but once we found out that they don't only make cooking oil, but also cosmetic oil, it suddenly became pretty cool ^^ a lot of people did some serious shopping in their little shop, they had lots of different soaps and cremes ^^ I had me some fun with yet another group of people and bought some nice souvenirs. we also got to see a little shop for woking on silver. they had so many pretty jewelery ^^ I saw a bracelet I completely fell in love with: two cobra's twisted together.. fully made of silver and heavy as hell! but it was too expensive for me *sobs* I did finally found a pinky ring ^^ the day went by without too many problems, but when it was time to head back, one of the guys was missing. we eventually found him though, luckily, and we were able to leave after just a bit of delay. back at the hotel it was time for dinner and then sleep ^^ day 5: thursday this was one of the days I had been looking forward to most ^^ the group split up in two, one of the groups went to a cooking course and the other, including me, went to camel ride ^^ it was so much fun and my camel, Jamila, was soooo sweet and cuddly ^^ I fell in love with camels due to their beautiful eyes and well, they just look cool! the guide with us was downright insane. still fun though. singing and suddenly jumping on the back of the camels ^^" we had tea in a berber village and learned the proper way to make Morocco's famous mint tea ^^ it's so yummy hehe when we had to leave the camels behind, I asked if I could take it with me.. but halas, it didn't fit into my bag T_T the afternoon we had some more free time. and I'm not actually sure what we did.. oh wait, we went into the city again to do some more shopping YAY ^^ in the evening, there was a little trip to the Jemaa el Fna, the big square, planned. since we were already close, we decided to stay in the city. unfortunately, I hadn't brought my jacket, so I got pretty damn cold in the evening ^^' thank goodness, I was with a group of girls who had loads of knowledge about scarfs, since they'd bought an awful lot of them already.. they helped me pick out two scarfs which helped me keep warm ^^ and they actually look pretty good on me too ^^ (Silver's scared that I'm actually preppy deep inside *laughs*) the guys in the city can get pretty damn scary in the evening.. the souks turn into somewhat of a flesh market for women.. it seems like some guy actually try to bargain for me with the two guys in our group. luckily, they scared him off eventually ^^ back at the hotel, is was time for dinner and after that, I went to sleep again ^^' the days were so tiring ^^' day 5: friday a trip to the Atlas mountains. it was fun, really beautiful and exhausting. while still suffering from the muscle aches the camel ride had brought, we had to climb up some pretty steep parts. especially in the village where we had lunch. we had to climb past snow and ice and it was pretty slippery ^^" on the way back, we went down in jeeps, which was scary as hell! the hairpin bends right next to deep dropoffs and nothing but slippery mud made the adrenalin flow ^^ in the evening, we went clubbin' ^^ it was so much fun, though I have to admit, I drank a bit much.. the bartender liked me though, so I managed to get some drinks for less than the ten bucks I was supposed to pay for them ^^" danced with quite some guys, but eventually, they started to tire me.. luckily, Danny came to the rescue by telling them I was his girlfriend hehe ^^ I headed back to the hotel with the last group and since my roommates had gone back earlier, I was afraid that they'd be asleep already. my fear turned out to be reality, so I crashed in Danny's room. he didn't mind and neither did his roommate ^^ we got in bed and... hehe, naw, just kidding ^^ don't worry (oh, how evil am I? I just really wanted to use that pic hehe ^^) he was knocked out pretty fast hehe ^^ day 6: saturday early in the morning, I snuck out of the room, went to get breakfast and then went back to my own room. the other girls had woken up by then and were glad to see I was ok ^^" I was shocked to find out I had lost the bracelet I'd gotten from Yensid-sensei! but I was sure it had to be somewhere in the room. so I planned to asked Danny as soon as he woke up. which turned out to be in the evening. the whole day was free and I headed out with some other girls to do some last minute souvenir shopping. I actually bought a knock-off Gucci bag, which is pretty cool for going out ^^ and I bought some gifts for friends ^^ but I won't tell what they are ^_~ in the evening, we had an ending dinner, which was fun and very filling. I didn't feel too good so I ended up not eating that much.. but it was still fun to have the whole group together. day 7: sunday an early morning. we had to check out of the hotel at 6.15 am, breakfast at 6.30 and we headed out for the airport at 7. when I asked Danny about my bracelet at breakfast (he hadn't found it the other day) he had found it YAY!! one of the girls kept teasing me, saying my bracelet was in Danny's bed.. but oh well ^^ the trip back home was boring again.. I kind of fell asleep again and at the transfer, I got pretty annoyed when a woman was in my seat.. when I told her she was, her husband or whatever asked me if I wanted to sit next to the window.. which was in fact my seat, but when I told them that, they started acting really immature and kinda mean.. they eventually did get up and let me in my chair. the rest of the way, they didn't really bother me, mostly thanks to my MP3 player ^^ back in Amsterdam, we had to wait forever for our luggage, but then it finally showed up and I could head out to see Silver. I didn't actually see him at first, but that's all ancient history since I posted about that last time ^_~ well, that's the story of my trip. if y'all will excuse me now, I'll finally go and clear away my suitcase and souvenirs ^^" I promised my mom I'd do it on monday.. I'm back

hey guys, this is just a quicky to let you all know that I made it back home in one piece ^^ I'm quite tired and still a bit desoriented.. it's weird to be home again.. it was great to see Silver at the airport, even though I didn't see him at first ^^" it just sucks that now I have to wait a few days before seeing him again *sobs* it was too short yesterday.. well, I'm off, expect a long post about my week in the next day or two.. I'm not sure when I'll have the energy and willpower to post a long one. Leaving on the Marrakesh Express

well, not yet, really, but early sunday morning (at a wonderful 4am) I get on my plane and head over there until next sunday ^^ hey guys! I hope you all had a good week and won't miss me too much while I'm gone ^_~ it won't make much of a difference, since I haven't been around much to visit and comment ^^" sorry 'bout that, guys. I hope to be better and get completely back into the swing of things when I get back. until then, my apologies *bows* the rest of my week is being spend quietly. I worked yesterday, which was good. not too busy, but busy enough to keep me busy ^^ currently, I'm at college and am supposed to be working on the project. the bimbos have left because one of them still had to get her shots.. nice timing, a few days before the trip.. oh well. I planned on calling them my groupmates, since I think I shouldn't consider them as bimbos, but sadly, I just found out they plan on kicking me out of the hotelroom so they can have a room together.. so yeah, now I need to pick some other people to share a room with and I'm thinking most people won't exactly be happy with the thought they have to share a room with me.. I dunno, it just started stressing me out.. I told them I didn't mind, cause well, I don't want to intrude or anything, but it would have been nice to share a room with some people I know a bit and who I know aren't too bad to be around.. *shrugs* I guess I'll survive, it'll just be a bit harder again. we've got a full schedule over in Morocco. only saturday is a free day and although I've already thought of some places I'd like to visit, I'm not sure if I'll be able to, cause we're not allowed to roam around on our own.. with a bit of luck, maybe a teacher will join me in another activity than shopping, which I imagine most girls will go do that day.. I can't exactly sneak off on my own like I did in Stockholm *pouts* I promised my mom and Silver ^^" besides, I guess my mind tells me that Marrakesh is more dangerous.. well, after all this project work, which I hope won't take too long, I'm headed home, will pack some stuff and head over to Silver's ^^ I get to spend today, friday and saturday with him ^^ thank goodness, cause I'll really miss him when I'm gone. I think we're planning on heading over to a co-worker friend of his to game.. I don't know what to really think about it, but maybe it won't be too boring.. I can't seem to stay focused on videogames for a very long time, so I might get bored.. but it also means that we'll eat something yummy instead of his mom's cooking ^^" there's always a silver lining ^^ plus, if I get too bored, I still need to finish reading the last Potter (which came out in dutch last saturday, that's why I didn't buy it earlier) since my bro wants to read it while I'm on my trip. I think we're going shopping on friday. and maybe catch a movie. I really want to see Beowulf, even though it seems to be completely done by computer.. the trailers look horrible, but the creatures look pretty interesting. I dunno what we'll do saturday.. I need to clean my fish bowls before I leave.. and pack my stuff. I'm still not sure what I'm going to take with me..
