And remember not to get hammered either, 'cause people who get hammered don't get to nail!
"War of the Sexes"-The Streets
in my opinion, that line is not entirely correct, but that might just be because I'm usually with Silver-sama whenever I get hammered hehe ^^

time: 9.09-9.47 am CET
mood: alright, just listened to a rather boring podcast, though..
physical condition: my legs hurt.. and I've got a bit of a cold again.. bleh
manga: I finished Chrono Crusade friday evening, but I'm yet to start another one.
song: Angels Falling-ICP
weather: beats me, it was really windy last night, but it seems to have calmed down a bit

hello guys ^^
man, is it really the last day of the year already? it's so weird, halfway december the days seem to speed up for some reason.. ow well

lets see.. friday was good, had some nice time with Silver-sama before I had to leave and then worked in the evening. my boss had some good news for me: I can keep working the saturdays for a while at least ^^
he's got a new girl he wants to train on the friday evenings, but it's easier for him to have me still work the somewhat busy saturday ^^
so that's good, since I haven't got another job yet *sigh* this stinks..

yesterday was good too, work was kind of boring cause there were hardly any customers.. pretty much the only people who came into the store either wanted to trade a gift they got for Christmas or wanted to buy lottery tickets which we don't sell ^^"
but I got to have a nice talk with my boss about a subject I forgot already.. ow well, it was fun nonetheless ^^
Silver-sama came to pick me up as usual (by the way, I bought the Abarat books *not entirely sure that they're called that in english too, but ow well* it's fantasy and it was a really good deal, so I couldn't resist hehe)
we ate dinner and then just watched some tv. I was tired as hell, but I still managed to stay awake until about 1.30am.. and then I wasn't able to get to sleep at all anymore *sigh* so that was a rather boring night.. (not evening)
we watched some stand-up comedy as usual on saturday evenings, cause they gave stand-up comedy night back to us ^^
after that we surfed channels and got into Jurassic Park so we watched that and after that we watched what has got to be one of the worst monster movies ever: Sabretooth.
I LOVED IT!!! as some of you might know, I'm a sucker for a horrible monster movie ^^ my personal favorite is still Frankenfish, which I can recommend to anyone really *laughs*
but Sabretooth was well.. the tiger was VERY computer-animated and things didn't make sense as usual, but the right people got eaten and there were enough ripped off and mutilated body parts to keep me happy ^^
for some reason, the movie kind of reminded me of the movie Blood Sport, which had a giant croc in it.. but I don't think anyone has seen one of these, let alone both, movies, so I'll end my little rant here ^^

well, the night was spend laying awake and thinking about the upcoming year.. yep, I'm smack in the middle of a worrying period again.. I have no idea if I'm going to find another job soon, the plan to do an internship in the US is pretty much off the agenda cause it's just too damn expensive (having the internship-bureau thingy help me out would already cost me about 1500 euros and I don't feel like calculating that into dollars, but it's just too much *sigh*), I have no idea where I will do an internship now and well... loads of things are unsure and just plain vague..
what is certain is that Silver-sama and me will probably go to the Anime Con for a full weekend again (that sentence isn't completely right is it? *laughs*)
but in the end, I'm sure things will work out fine. when I look back at the past year, it seems like I've kind of winged my way through it and even though a lot of sucky shit happened, all in all, things aren't so bad ^^

I've got a question for all of you:
do you have any new year's resolutions and if yes, what are they?
I don't have any, hell, it's hard enough for me to think of a good resolution for the next day, let alone a whole year. I could say I will try to get drunk less, but I know I will still go into the new year with a nice alcoholic buzz.. I'm still a horrible example hehe ^^" ow well, people shouldn't use me as a role model anyway, you guys all know that by now ^^

ok, I believe it is time to end it here. the last post of 2006.. kind of gets me sentimental darnit..
I'm a past-dweller, a pack-rat of memories, either good or bad..
a lot of things happened this year and I think I shared them all with you guys..
I want to thank all of you for sticking with me trough the shitty year it has been and for listening to me whining all the time ^^
I want to apologise for writing such long posts, but I won't, cause I know most of you like reading them and the people who don't, don't read them.
I want to thank you all for all the kind words and advice shared with me throughout the year and I pray that there will be many more years of our friendship.
thank you guys for being my friends *hugs you all*

ok, now that the sappy part is out of the way (sorry guys, I can't help myself ^^" things like this just happen to me when I think of a past year and stuff..)
I promised you all a list of my Christmas presents, so it will be right at the bottom of this post ^^
but first I want to wish you all a lovely ending of the year and for all of you who are like me and will drink tonight: take it easy on the bubbly ^_~
be careful with fireworks and may the new year bring you all loads of good things, good health and good friendships ^^
