a day late, but here it is...
ok, so I overslept yesterday and had to hurry to get to work.. so I couldn't post the first chapter of my story *bows* very sorry.
but here it is.
it might be a bit confusing.. so if you want to know more about WDX visit The Official Website or The Forum
if you have any questions about WDX or the characters, feel free to put them in a comment and I will answer them in my next post.
also, I would very much appreciate all critique, tips or just plain commentary on my story or the way it is written, but remember, keep it clean, flaming will get you removed from my friendslist for sure. don't wish to be harsh, but if you want to tell me that I suck, do it in a nice way and give me advice on how to improve ^^
anyway, enough rambling from me.. enjoy the first chapter of my very own Fic based on WDX ^^

Chapter One: The Intruder.

The mansion looked deserted from the outside. The sun was setting and dark clouds were gathering. It would be a rough night.
She just sat there, staring at the building. She had found a small hill with a view on the house and some protection from the wind. All of a sudden, she got up and walked towards the mansion. To someone who would see her for the first time, it looked like she was lost, trying to find a sign of life inside the house to get some help and maybe ask for directions. She walked all around the building looking up at windows. But she knew exactly where she was going.
During the day, it was too dangerous inside the house, but at night, there were plenty of shadows to hide in and the chance of getting caught was a lot smaller.
She knew the building better than anyone living in it by now.
The huge dragon on the balcony stirred when she passed by. He looked at her as if he would eat her in the blink of an eye if she would get too close. She winked at him and started to climb up the rain-pipe. When she got onto the balcony, she quickly stroke the dragon’s head and he calmed down.
She wanted to stay right there for the rest of the night, cause this was where she was happiest right now. But hunger drove her into the house.
Walking through the empty room, she felt a pain in her heart. She always got that passing through here.
No, she thought, don’t think about it, keep going.

Magnus and Shirogane walked though the hallways on their last inspection of the day.
‘I still can’t believe that we’re missing food! No one in the mansion would have to steal.’ Shiro looked at Magnus. ‘Do you have any idea who it might be?’
Magnus shook her head. ‘It can’t really be anyone from our organisation. They can get everything they want and they know it. I’ve had my ninjas search the place, but they always come back empty-handed.’ She sighed and looked at Shiro. ‘I’m afraid we’re being infiltrated. But it has to be someone who knows this house. An outsider would’ve never found his way around Draco.’
Shiro nodded. ‘He’s been waiting for her, hasn’t he? I’ve heard a lot about her from you and Cat, and I still can’t believe that she left him behind. Regardless, he’s been a wonderful guard dog!’ She laughed, but Magnus suddenly stopped and turned to Shiro again. ‘Haven’t you noticed yet?’ She asked in a stern voice. ‘What?!’ Shiro was surprised by the sudden change of her leader’s mood.
‘Draco has been acting weird. We have never been able to control him since she left. He had just been sitting on that balcony and he scared off everyone who came too close. But the last few days he has been restless, nervous almost. As if he can feel something coming...’
‘I thought it was normal for him to act like this.’ Shiro replied.
Tink.*
Magnus suddenly looked up and motioned that Shiro should be quiet. ‘What is it?’ Whispered Shiro. Magnus held a finger in front of her lips and sneaked to the nearby room. Then she quickly jumped into the doorway.
‘It’s nothing. I thought I heard something, but it was probably just my imagination.’
Shiro recognized the room and looked at Magnus. ‘Lets just continue our round.’ She patted the leader’s shoulder and they moved on.

After about a minute she dared to breathe again. That was way too close, she thought, while holding a hand around a charm bracelet on her left wrist. Usually, she left it with Draco before moving into the mansion, but this time she had forgotten completely.
She came out of the shadow she had been hiding in. As soon as she had heard the voices in the hallway, she knew she had to hide, though she wished that she shouldn’t have.
When the footsteps faded, she looked out into the hallway. It was empty, or so it seemed. A plate of food floated towards the room. This would have freaked out anyone who wasn’t familiar with the organisation. She just smiled and waited for the plate to get to her.
‘Thank you.’ She whispered and kissed something that couldn’t be seen. Red cheeks quickly flushed up, only to fade again as soon as you could see them. She took the plate from the invisible ninja who had brought it to her and he left.
Just a good thing the flesh is weak, she thought while she ate the food. This had always been her speciality. There was no place she couldn’t get into as long as there were men around.
When she finished her meal, she went back out onto the balcony. The wind was raging and she knew she would have to spend the night here.
Draco moved up a bit and spread one of his wings. She thankfully sat under it and stroke his leg. ‘Thank you, sweetie.’ She said to him. ‘I’m sorry, I had to leave you behind.’
The dragon grunted and blew some warm air her way. She laughed and hugged him.
While the storm was gaining power, she slowly fell asleep.

The next morning, the storm had calmed down, but the mansion was anything but calm.
Magnus had called on a meeting first thing in the morning and everyone was discussing loudly.
‘Silence!’ The leader stood up and looked at everyone in the room. ‘This is an urgent matter. It seems that the World Domination X mansion has been infiltrated. This simply can not be the work of someone who doesn’t know this place.’
A rather shy girl with cat-ears and tail stood up. ‘Do you think it could be Lloyd’s organisation?’ She asked with a worried look on her face.
‘Don’t worry, Cat, we won’t let him get to you.’ Magnus assured her. ‘It could be him, but I’m not ruling anything out, it could always be someone else.’
A longhaired guy with a katana strapped to his belt stood up while Cat sat back down. ‘I have been spying on Lloyd and his crew for a while now and there aren’t any plans of bringing us down. They are still trying to get their organisation together.’
‘Good.’ Magnus nodded and then turned to another guy. ‘Triguy, since ShadowEagle hasn’t heard of anything, do you have any idea of who it might be sneaking through the mansion?’ Triguy stood up. ‘There has been a new rival organisation founded recently, but I don’t think they are able to get past Draco, your ninjas and the spiders, milady.’ He replied. ‘But my shadows have picked up the trail of a girl who they say is familiar to them.’
A wave of whispers went through the room as Magnus sat down with a shocked look on her face. She was holding her wrist tightly.
‘Could it really be her?’ Shiro whispered to Seto, who was sat next to her.
‘We don’t know her, but she would probably be the only one who could get past that dragon.’ She whispered in return.
In the meantime, Magnus had found her strength again and stood up. ‘No way!’ She said, loud enough to get everyone quiet again. ‘She would never come back here! Not after everything that happened.’
Shishou stood up. ‘But Draco...’ She started.
‘Silence!’ Magnus slammed her hand on the table. ‘It can’t be her, cause if it was, she wouldn’t be sneaking around like this without contacting anyone! That would be an even bigger betrayal than leaving here when we needed her the most.’
Everyone looked at the leader in disbelief.
Magnus sighed. ‘I will have my ninjas search the mansion again and they will patrol the hallways every night.’ She sat down. ‘I hereby close this meeting.’

Everyone but Cat and Magnus had left the room. Cat slowly walked towards her good friend and leader.
‘What if it is her?’ She asked in a soft voice. ‘What would you do if she were to return?’
Magnus shook her head. ‘I don’t know. I really don’t. This place isn’t the same without her but…’
‘But how can we trust her again if she did come back?’ Cat finished the sentence. ‘Her return will be proof of her loyalty to you.’
Cat smiled and hugged Magus.
‘I suppose you’re right.’ For the first time since last night, Magnus smiled. ‘Lets get some breakfast. I could use one of those donuts of yours.’
Cat nodded and the two headed for the cafeteria, where the others were already eating and excitedly talking about the meeting.

so there you go, hope you guys enjoyed reading it and if this is well received, I will continue to post up the chapters after they've appeared on the WDX forum.
much clown love, I'm outta here ^^
