Don't push me, 'cause I'm close to the edge.
Listening to: A movie

Aah, I'm so embarrassed! I can't believe it's been so long since I've updated, or even visited other people's sites. I'm a bad otaku!

I have been really busy, but I'm also just too lazy to come by very often. A lot of my friends and family have birthdays this time of year, plus I had exams and new classes start. But even though I'm busy, I'm still pretty bored. How does that work out? Anyway, I'll stop talking so much about me. How have all of you been?

To try and make up for being gone for so long (and just to try something new) I'm going to start writing reviews for different manga that I've read. I hope it's helpful to you, and please remember that it's just my simple opinions, nothing serious. Talk to you later!

1. This is one I read yesterday, so it's still fresh in my mind.

-Title: Dazzle
-Manga-ka: Minari Endoh
-Rating: Teen
-My Rating: 3 out of 5 teacups
-Summary: A 14 year old girl named Rahzel is sent on a journey by her father to explore the world and gain some knowledge. Soon after she is thrown out of her house, she meets a man named Alzeid, and becomes his companion, promising to give him something to smile about in his life,as well as helping him to get revenge for his father's death.
-Review: I've only read the first book so far, but in general I don't recommend this series. The art is good, and the manga-ka pays a lkot of attention to detail, especially in the characters. But so far the plot is confusing and moves too fast. Rahzel gets thrown out of her house in the first two pages, and right after that she meets Alzeid. Then there's something about a gun, a theif, and revenge, and all of a sudden they are traveling together. The character setup is a little strange too, like the fact that Rahzel is 14 and Alzeid is 24 and they're supposed to be a couple. Rahzel is also pretty annoying, and the fact that she can do magic seems like it was just thrown in there at the last minute. I'll probably read the second book just to make sure, but right now I'd say there's a lot of better stuff out there to read.

Ok, so that was fun. I hope it wasn't too long. See you later (again)!
