back for the moment
Haha, ah... I'm back for the moment, sorry about dropping off like that (though I'd probably have to repeat that again since tests are brewing again DX)-I'd get to the replies soon!
What now? Just posted one more Mello pic, have the strangest urge to draw L, M, N -especially Mello. Don't really like any character at first but after attempting to draw them, I get attached. That was how Haku came about too ^^
Doodling while watching Friday TV has officially became a habit and last night I was watching "Final Destination 2". It's eerily freaky and I admit after watching Final Destination (1) some time ago, I was feeling jumpy for several days (and again when reminded :P). Ah, nevermind me, I'm hardly one in tune with the horror genre. Anyone else watched it?
Oops, moive time again, perhaps along with some more doodling. See you around!

another Haku submission(s)
Just coming out of habination for this split second, not the most dramatic of things (then again, seldom are). I think I'd bash my head on the table if I ever make the title "Haku on paper", seeing I've already got "Haku in pencil" and now "Haku in lines". Haha... I'd stop. :P
ps. 5 minutes later and I'm back (goes to show my self-discipline >__<), so on second thought, another post. Venoms, remember the Haku with something to do with ANBU? Ah... after leaving it cold for 2 weeks, I just gave in the fetish to post something. It's already half coloured (Haku is looking... uh, nevermind) but left stale on the side, and probably will remain this way for a while longer. As my sister pointed it out "hey, that's now how ANBU uniforms look" (she kept up with Naruto manga, and me... I never read pass Haku's death really) Sorry about that, this is where I hide behind the well exhausted phrase: Nothing can go wrong under artistic (doodler's) license...?

D Note
After resisiting my school friend's persistant attempts to get me to read Death Note manga (her selling point: drawn by Obata-san, manga artist for Hikaru no Go), I finally got around to it. At first I was just occassionally sneaking peeks from behind my sister who was reading it on internet (my friend actually managed to get my sister addicted, knowing full well having the manga available at my home would eventually get me hooked as well -that calculating-sneaky-little...)
Within 2 days, we managed to polish off around 64 chapters. Unlike other anime it was rather hard to pick a favourite character. One moment it was 'go Raito!', another 'go L!', and at times even cheers for Matsuda. I was very confuse as to where to put my solid bias until I read to L's 'death'. And even then it took a full 5 minutes for the event to soak in... then decided to take L as a favourite. Does anyone know whether L is down for real? I'm just itching to find out but isn't too keen to wade through the next thirty chapters not knowing. Since his death(?) was so sudden (concluded in 3 pages -that's it? seems too abrupt to me), I'm not too convinced, but at the same time, the series has gotten a substitute, Near. I'm very very curious to know, does L make it or not? *sratch head, scratch* I hope he's not over, cause that would make 2 dead fav characters on the list -Haku and L.
To anyone who are interested in some brain twisting plot, D Note is definitely one place to get some. All those crazy logic really put me to awe. Hm... if I'm trying to promote D Note, that make me no better than my friend... well, I'd question self moral later. Here's the site, if you may ever have some time to check it out:

I'm back on again. It hasn't been that long *look at date*, only a few days of absence. First few days of school had been durable but I can sense the aura of work miles away *shudder* but I'm determine to on top of it. Briefly as a side note, I started drawing last night and it's penned now. That makes 2 pictures ready for colour but I'm lazy (forgive me) I'd get to them whenever. You have a nice day!

Tropical Haku's
Acrylics, pastel (soft pastel *show dirty fingers*), and pen. Scanner made colours duller than intented, but hopefully bright enough to be considered warm. To be truthful, I favour zooming in, it seems to work better and at least now I remember why I was reluctant to draw horizontally -700 X 1000 is truly/mainly meant for vertical. To compensate, I hope you enjoyed the simple penned draft of Haku (zoomed in of course ^^).
Concerning masculinity, it's an ever going struggle for maedhros to get it right (apologies), it varies. There are just some people who can sit on the rope so well they get a new category, for simplicity's sake (and m's laziness), let's give Haku his own.
Why tropics and with Haku no less? Since I plan to take off for a while (back to being noncommittal again :P), I wish to hang Haku somewhere nice for the break. I'd be back to harass his character again, count on it! I was looking at a photograph of the scenery and found colouring the blue sky made me strangely happy, try it, it's fuuuun! (ok, m cracked)
Two things to be happy about -improvement with lines since beyblade pics (1.5 month ago) and taking a breather. School's coming in less than a day, I'd be better prepared this time, *determined* bring it on.
ps- changed bg again, site has been up and down, hopefully reconstruct later.

Welcome 2006! With the break ending in a day or so, it's going to be 'study or else' days -a less active maedhros around, but I'd still check at the least once per week (that's the plan *cross finger*). My apologies in advance should there be slow replies. ^^
There are still... many doodles left unattended, new ones sprout all the time while old ones are pushed back or never get finished. Nevertheless, one post soon. Thing to do before hibernating -reconstruct site, hopefully.
m off to sleep.
Happy New Year!!!

Everyone seems to be away for xmas lately, hope everyone is having fun and relaxing. ^^
As for me, this equation applies:
xmas + cold = can't taste anything good for holiday

'Scavenge'
Another Haku submission. This one was drawn to test out a new brush-pen (I can't control the lineweight -__- yet, practice my friend, practice) and the radio was on about food bank all night... the rest is self-explanatory.
This was coloured with acrylics, (I don't know how to watercolour) you caught me. To be truthful, I preferred to just slap it on -hey, it's really funner this way! But 1)I don't have enough paint, 2)I still haven't figured out a way to incooperate thick paint with anime, if you know how feel free to tell me. *smile*
ps- sorry for the lack of white or black paint. They... died.

2 submissions
Hello! after spending a majority of a day home playing 'the pencil crayons and I', I managed to get 2 done *happy dance*. I can't say I did much other than colouring however, because both pieces were drawn a little while ago:
'"Come Come Paradise"... Kakashi-san?' was drawn during test procrasination period, it was the third Haku picture to be truthful (Haku fandom now at 1.5 week). This is probably the first picture I used a black crayon... but then again, I haven't coloured much either -___- And as for the Japanese words for the book, no... regretfully I don't write Japansese -it's a maedhros imitation. Hope it passes. Lastly, about the black heart, forgive me XP, it was the only heart symbol my poor tech abilities allowed me to find. Now that I had a look at the comics, Kakashi uses hollow hearts in his light speeches while Haku uses dark hearts. Nevertheless, this symbol is meant to be used by Kakashi. Kakashi is another character I like, while I have a ticklish spot for Rock Lee too. Haha, thinking of Rock makes me crack. Still, Haku reign supreme and Zabuza is very likable too.
'Casts' is a 3-days effort: Pencil -Nov.28, Pen -Dec.15, and Colour -Dec.21. I was tempted to shade them all, but come on maedhros, solid, solid colouring. Damnit. Somehow their hair colours seem to represent their personas, which for the most part I tried following their already desinated colours. Never got to watch the anime though, but I've read most of the comic books (so far read 19 of them, missing 4 ^_____^) From upper left across: Ko Yong-ha, Yoshiro, Kaga, Sai, Akira, Hikaru, (light blue hair w/ glasses: oh no, what's his name in English?), Thomas, Waya, Kurata.
Hope you enjoy them! My wrist ache from colouring... ah, at least I can still use my other hand to draw. Current count of pieces unfinish (few may never get finish): Naruto -5, Hikaru no Go -1, GS -1, Bleach -1 (only to test out a pen, I don't need a new fandom anytime soon DX)
If I don't update before the 23rd, just think of these two as anniversary pics. I still feel obligated to finish a few more before I take a break -if possible let's do one for xmas! (or if late) New year!

Academics and shoppings
And the results are out -I passed everything -English was the highest while Bio was the lowest, um... math in between? Really, this doesn't make much sense (though I am grateful about math, it feels like mercy *halleluiah chorus*), I thought bio would come out on top or at least close since I wrote the test with full confidence, but as it turned out, I all but bombed it *raise eyebrow* This is a weird world... This only solid my resolution that I must cage procrasination next term and focus! I guess I'd doodle less then -____- though it doesn't stop me now ^___^.
Yesterday's shopping trip gainned me a pen and volume 2-4 of Naruto (*sheepish* yes, it's where Haku and Zabuza reside). I'm still trying to finish some older pics, but am feeling lazy (again). I'd just go with the flow...
