*deep breath*
For a moment there I was embarrassed to be a Colts fan.
Go Colts!

So I was switched to Grissom's gym class, which sucks. It has to do with my lack of athletic ability. The only good parts are that we don't do conditioning while running, and Mike's still in my class.

Damn you, Williamson....
"Rewrite the Code of Chivalry and the Rules for Courtly Love tonight. Oh, and make it typed, aged, illustrated and pretty. And it's due tomorrow!" [/exaggeration]
If you give us a second project with one night ot work, at least have the courtesy to expect it handwritten on notebook paper!
Maybe another update tomorrow with the other reason why I'm annoyed....

So, I didn't get through any period besides homeroom and lunch without wanting to shoot someone. Especially in the morning, for the communistic custom of making me be at school at 7:30 am.
Yay! Yu-Gi-Oh! GX is FINALLY back on Miguzi!
I'm tired.... And I'm skiving off ALL my homework tonight.... But naturally, I have a flute lesson, so I really should practice. And am NOT going to.
So, as for the people I wanted to murder:
Band: The student teacher (Meier? I don't remember....) because HE was the one that made us play. All Granlund did was make announcements about state contest.
Algebra: Everyone who sits around me (don't know their names either) because they wouldn't shut up....
PE: Grissom, for her 10 minute jog. Not allowed to stop, but at least she never said we couldn't be REALLY slow. I matched pace with Mike and we compared it to band camp without 90 degree weather.
WHAP: No one really, but Pappas was speaking in something of a monotone....
Biology: Tellas, because since my laptop wouldn't connect to the internet and all the free ones had already been reassigned to other people, I had to share, and then she made a point of staring at me when I finished and told us to use our time wisely - as if I didn't know it was study time, but I finished.
English: Williamson, for the obvious reasons.
French: Bobby, because I was one of the "student teachers" seeing as we had a sub (again....), and since Jacques Vert (nickname) was one of the others and really ran things because my throat hurt and I was tired, Bobby made a point of saying "Avery's not really doing anything, is she?" and wouldn't shut up after that. (I believe I said something along the lines of "He's distracting my learning environment" to Julia, the third of us.) I told Jacques Vert afterwards not to pick me tomorrow (because Leonard designated me, and I chose Jacques and Julia, and Jacques is designated for tomorrow.)
We're starting second semester silent reading in English, and Williamson introduced us to 15 books and told us to pick the top 5, even though she said we could read our own. We still had to pick. I'll probably read The Book of Fate, though. Next in line: Angels and Demons.

I finished the scarf I was making.... Got halfway through another one, transferred that to a stitch holder so I could use the needles, and started a pair of mittens.

I think this deserves some applause.

Ugh... still sick
I seriously went up to the guy I was supposed to be tutoring today and said, "I'm sick. I'm going home." His response? "I was going to say the same thing...."
I finally saw the Death Note movie. Yes, I know, you're not supposed to download it, and no, I couldn't resist. So sue me. It's the same with fansubs... once you start, you can't stop. I'm not even going to try to justify it except to say that if they're going to be made anyways, might as well watch them, and put the work in them to good use.

*hackcough* + rant
I'm sick, and if I try and stay home at the very beginning of the semester, mom might think something's up, because I came home early twice within the first week after convincing the nurse my stomach hurt, stayed home an entire day (coincidentally, watching Miyazaki movies the entire day), and even managed to make the doctor think it was just something viral, but it was really all the stress and not REALLY liking very many of my teachers, and that's bothering me too but the fact that I can barely play with any semblance of decent tone quality.
On the other hand, at this point Williamson is bothering me less than Granlund. You know, we got a new student teacher in band today. And I already like him quite a bit better than Granlund. I mean, he had us sight read a piece that we might play at the pops concert in February. The only comment he made was that we needed to add more accents, and when we did, he just smiled and said, "Excellent. Excellent." Unlike Granlund, who has a tendency to add in lectures about how horribly behaved we are. You know what, Granlund? We're a freshman band. We just came back from winter break, two weeks where I'll bet the vast majority of us even left our instruments in our lockers while the heat was turned down to 50 and hooligans picked all our locks so they could sell our instruments, and I'll bet that only freaks like me and Ian and Sam and all the other band geeks and marching band people practiced at all, at least in our class. And then you have the GALL, the AUDACITY to suggest that we aren't working hard enough, when so many people suddenly failed classes even though they got straight A's in middle school, the stress is killing us, it's first period, and everything?! Well, go to Hell! At this point I don't even care! You say you're a nice guy? Well, I say different! And so do the people in your precious first-in-the-state Wind Ensemble, so stop!
*rereads* I suppose this is a little harsh.... And for the record, I would NEVER say this to him aloud. Just like Williamson thinks I like her. And you know, no matter how annoying she is, when I'm in Band, I fervently wish I was in English. Where I excel, and where it is a better place. (Even though everyone knows Boeghlin is the only really good English 9X teacher.) Not that I don't excel in Band, of course.
And now you see why I like the other director, England, better. *sighs* That took 20 minutes....

Oh, the wonderful and great joy!
School starts today... back to the horrors of Granlund and Williamson and homework and classes and work and school in general.
What a joy this will be!
ETA: *dies* That was hell.... And, I didn't bring my flute, because of course I thought, "Why on earth would we play the first day back?" Not so, I might say.....
