Really, I wasn't banned which I found out later. It was just the IP address. I told Matt about it and he says he'll try to find out the ones that were signed at the school. I told him the usernames that were being used, and so yeah. I'm back to good old merkey.net

I talked to Brandon today after I had dance (I'll explain that later X_X) and he was introducing me to Apache Web Server. After thirty minutes of downloading it (because my computer was going slow at the time), I've finally made my own computer a "server" however, being an idiot that I am with things that don't make any sense, I was trying to read the httpd text document. Its the most craziest thing in the world, Brandon helped me out through IM, but still it was troubling. I still don't get much of it, so I asked if I can work on it tomorrow and so that's the plan. I'm just tired from intstalling and working on that. >_< I've been also working and reading tutorials of all sorts, and also I installed Trillian, which now makes me have AIM, YIM, MSN and ICQ all together ^_^ However, I only use the MSN for e-mail and I just now use YIM and AIM, because its easier for me.

My neck really aches right now, probably because i'm sitting in one of those chairs that are the most uncomfortable ones of all time -_-;; We're going to get a chair for me that will at least be good for my neck. I had the worst time last night trying to go to sleep, I was so tired and effing hot. >_< Also, I didn't have any dreams which makes it even more frustrating. I also watched the movie Monkey Bone last night, I still love that movie, same as The Mummy, and Twister, mostly I like most of Brendan Frasier's movies however I'm probably not going to see the looney Toons movie, its rated G and also there aren't any horny monkeys or destruction or sarcasm etc. etc. I've also never been a real big fan for Looney Toons that are the cartoons, but I used to watch them a lot when I was little, but now I'm not interested and groan if I see it on Cartoon Network...strange how my interests change -_-'' I don't know why I like Brendan Frasier as an actor, probably because he sort of acts full of himself, yet has that sarcasm or just is really good whenever it comes to movies that have good graphics or interesting perspectives *shrugs* Dunno...all I know he's on one of my top ten actors and actresses and he has my birthday :P I remember reading that in a book that I loved (it was just a random facts book, I was a guru with those) back in the second or third grade and was jealous of my friend, Kaarin's, birthday to and it was Regis Philbin and when I checked mine, I was like "huh? who's brendan fraiser?" and then later on I saw the Mummy, Monkey Bone etc. and now proud Heh..."proud" that sounded stupid. Mrs. Edoff has my birthday, and my Tae Kwon Do instructor, Mr. Hupp, had it also. Strange. and yet at my school, I'm the only one who has that birthday from Kindergarten till Fifth grade until Ed Lee came <_< Grr..

Anyways, I was going to tell about dance. Lily was late coming to carpool me, and I accidentally picked up my old ballet shoe and brought one right ballet shoe. When I put on my wrong ballet shoe, I found out that it was too small and it was itchy and crappy and so I was struggling with it especially wih balancing on one foot and doing coupee`s. When practicing our pre-pointe dance for the Christmas Recital, I told Miss Wendy about dancing barefoot because my left foot (which the wrong ballet shoe was on) was feeling itchy and hot and like red ants were biting in my flesh. She told me I couldn't dance barefoot and asked if I brought my bag. I said "no" and explained I don't bring my bag on Saturdays, only on Mondays. Vanessa, my good ol' buddy of mine (well, even though she's a year younger than me) and understanding my spork jokes etc. offered for letting me borrow her jazz shoes. We put our feet together to check if they were the same size, and they were. After one session of the dance, we both hurried over and I put on her jazz shoes, perfect fit. We did two more sessions of the dance (even though the jazz shoes weren't that easy to move around in because it felt sticky than slippery like the old jazz shoes are) we left dance and Lily started this whole entire thing about her partner in the Nutcracker throwing up and feeling sick last week. (I didn't try out for the Nutcracker, even though I've already been in it as a soldier for two years).
Well that was most of my day so far. I'm tired and groggy and just want to fall asleep or just do something!

Music: Blues Drive Monster from FLCL and Dearest midi and Mp3 versions from Inuyasha // Website: Matt's Forums --> Desktops (woot I started this topic!) // Going to do next: Work on editing story // Mood: Neck aches, in pain, what do you think I am in?

Edit: Here was the IM conversation over the Apache Server, I was overly stupid at the time:
Session Start (Yahoo! - maggiemehve:echelon): Sat Nov 15 12:42:29 2003
maggiemehve: Hey
echelon: hey
echelon: I just got back.
echelon: Gotta reinstall apache. I think my version is screwed up.
echelon: You should get your own webserver too.
echelon: (Link: http://www.apache.org)http://www.apache.org
echelon: It'll help you develop websites.
echelon: A great deal.
maggiemehve: I would really like to get one of my own, but we've already bought three computers and so I can't buy or get anything. I'm saving up also. -_-;
echelon: What?
echelon: You can't install Apache?
maggiemehve: Well, I haven't yet O_o
echelon: Apache is OSS.
maggiemehve: Oh. Now I see.
maggiemehve: I'm already sick of installing everything. <_<
echelon: Why?
maggiemehve: Because I just got a new computer!
echelon: If you want to be a programmer, that's what you have to do.
echelon: It's just a given.
maggiemehve: I know that.
maggiemehve: But reinstalling, finding all the old websites, transferring old files, connecting to IM once more, etc. etc. gets tiring after a week of studying and wires all over the place. My room is now a mess with CD roms and instruction manuals.
maggiemehve: And my mom is screaming at me for it.
echelon: But this software isn't on a CD...
echelon: O.o;
maggiemehve: I know.
maggiemehve: But also installing from the internet, like Trillian, AIM, and YIM etc.
echelon: Just use trillian
maggiemehve: I am
echelon: delete the other two
echelon: :-p
maggiemehve: I am using it
maggiemehve: *glares*
echelon: good.
maggiemehve: That was before.
maggiemehve: until I was introduced to Trillian
echelon: hey, I'll brb
echelon: Well, you need to be introduced to a lot more.
echelon: For now, remember these three sites:
echelon: (Link: http://www.apache.org)http://www.apache.org
echelon: (Link: http://www.php.net)http://www.php.net
echelon: (Link: http://www.mysql.com)http://www.mysql.com
maggiemehve: Okay
echelon: (in that order)
echelon: Anyway, I'll brb
maggiemehve: l
maggiemehve: k
echelon: back

maggiemehve: so what else am I behind with?
echelon: apache install?
maggiemehve: Not yet. I'm still reading over some things.
maggiemehve: Okay, so I'm at the downloading area, which project should I choose? :-,
echelon: HTTP Server
maggiemehve: Okay
maggiemehve: So download all of this? (Link: http://mirrors.isc.org/pub/apache/httpd/)http://mirrors.isc.org/pub/apache/httpd/
echelon: not the binary
echelon: get the msi
echelon: you can't compile it on your own
echelon: (Link: http://httpd.apache.org/download.cgi)http://httpd.apache.org/download.cgi
echelon: the one that says Windows Installer (MSI)
echelon: Do not get the MSI
echelon: *(MSI )
echelon: do not get the PGP
echelon: just get the actual download
maggiemehve: Is it Win32 Source? Just making sure
echelon: not source
echelon: source is the binary
echelon: get the installer
echelon: ack
echelon: no, no.
echelon: GET the binary
echelon: I'm sorry
maggiemehve: Okay. O_O
echelon: the MSI compiles it
echelon: Win32 Binary (MSI Installer): apache_2.0.48-win32-x86-no_ssl.msi [PGP] [MD5]
echelon: get that
maggiemehve: Okay
echelon: (not PGP or MD5, those are encrypeted)
echelon: *encrypted
maggiemehve: Downloading
maggiemehve: This will take awhile
echelon: it will?
echelon: OH
echelon: 56k?
maggiemehve: So far 20%
echelon: I see.
maggiemehve: brb

echelon: Matt knows too
echelon: but apache.org is your best bet
maggiemehve: okay
maggiemehve: Holy crap is all I have to say O_o
echelon: you like?
maggiemehve: Confusing, but I can understand some of it.
echelon: go do this...
echelon: go to dnip.net
echelon: and sign up
echelon: for something like "maggie.dnip.net"
echelon: you will be highly pleased.
echelon: register yet?
maggiemehve: I'm trying to figure out the IP address. Is it the one with numbers, or is it like this: pimaco01.az.comcast.net?
echelon: numbers
echelon: (Link: http://www.whatismyip.com)http://www.whatismyip.com
echelon: the first is your server node
echelon: your network name
maggiemehve: registering
maggiemehve: Okay, my account is already confirmed etc.
echelon: what is it?
maggiemehve: (Link: http://maggie.dnip.net)http://maggie.dnip.net
echelon: well, it's not working. but mess with it a bit :-p
echelon: you'll have fun
maggiemehve: Erm...how can I mess with it :-I
echelon: what is your IP?
echelon: you have apache on, right?
maggiemehve: Yes, I do have Apache. IP: 68.37.88.152
echelon: Did you set up apache on 80 or 8080?
maggiemehve: :80
echelon: good
echelon: hmm
echelon: I can't see it for some reason...
echelon: can you see localhost?
maggiemehve: Yeah
maggiemehve: *headache*
echelon: hahaha
echelon: now you're me two years ago
echelon: :-p
echelon: when I was new to this
maggiemehve: And yet I'm starting early. I'm only in the 7th grade O_o
echelon: It's good to start early.
echelon: trust me
maggiemehve: I know. *nods head*
echelon: httpd is your main fix now
echelon: learn it
maggiemehve: Heh :-I
echelon: it's okay
echelon: it takes time
echelon: learn "virtual hosts"
maggiemehve: I've heard of that. -_-
maggiemehve: I'm pathetic with this kind of stuff. <_<
echelon: no, no
echelon: you'll be fine
echelon: google "apache tutorials"
maggiemehve: :'D Thank god, tutorials! w00t
echelon: look for "virtual host tutorials" in a bit too
echelon: or "apache virtual host tutorials"
maggiemehve: 'k
maggiemehve: I'll read more about this, later. I'm really tired right now and I've been on the computer for too long. I'll configure this later today or so. O_o
echelon: yeah
echelon: well, good luck
maggiemehve: Heh...X-O
