Happy New Year
Ok so I'm a few days late. Happy New Year everyone! I hope everyone has a good 2008 and those who have had a tough time of it can turn life around.

The year's not been off to a good start for me, I've already lost two friends and caught the flu XD But on the bright side, my art is starting to get more recognised now! Someone went through and voted on all of my active pictures at once it seems, so when I came back, I had 70 extra votes !^^ Please comment if you see one of my pictures and I'll return the favour.

I REALLY wanna get onto the featured sometime soon.

Music coming on the site soon. Nightwish! Probably Ghost Love Score or The Riddler - one of the beautiful ones that enchant you and then my favourite one - Over the Hills and Far Away. Not enough people like Nightwish. They're my favourite band!

That time of year!
And I'm not just referring to Christmas although that is awesome. We have the family round including my setp-dad and his brother and my best friend, David is coming over in the New Year.

Dave's finally left but not after getting violent, breaking stuff and stealing my mama's credit card. I swear to god though, I'm just glad he's out of the house. The sooner he gets arrested, the better.

My life is one big drama!

Also, Edge got banned from EN! Oh my god and Thrust too. And Rachael got suspended. If they'd banned her, I would have left.

Well, I invite people to join Echo Net. Anyone who wants to can PM me for the URL. It's a foum I've been going on for over a year, my online friends are on there and I lead the art forum. Today it's the one year anniversary since I fist posted art up there! My topic is a whole year old!

Is anyone interested in joining? It' a cool place and we need more regular members. The leader, CJ, is lovely but under a lot of strain.

School finished on the 20th so techically today.

   I'm Leeeeeaviiin on a jet plaaane....
Well actually that's not until 2009.

Basically, I have this desire to be a character designer and developer for original anime in Japan when I'm older but in order to do that I have to get a feel for the country so after meetings and interviews I got a place on a Japanese exchange between my town and Hakusan city!

It's so exciting. There's only 20 places and I'm one of them! How cool is that? A Japanese exchange student will come here in the summer and I'll go over there the following.


Also, in regards to my drawing, expect to see more Puchi Carat and Yu-Gi-Oh. My current favourite drawing subjects since the DNAngel fad XD

   Let's Get Started
Having been on this site for over a year now with 93 pictures to date I have managed to scrabble a measly 159 votes as of right now. This sucks! XD

(I know it's not all about the votes but it's a bit of an ego deflation. I want to make it onto the featured list but that's looking more and more unlikely with each picture. My most popular piccy got 7 votes. One for each hour I spent on it.)

All I'm saying is what am I doing wrong? What can I do to improve? I want a career in this so I need to know how to improve or just to be told I suck and should give up the ghost.


It's actually half term over here in England right now. I'm busy with essays, extra French, housework, babysitting my siblings and comforting my teary mother because this whole this is a disaster as I told her it would be if she held on so I'm not drawing as much as I'd like so it's all very fun.

Hmm notice how people on this site don't talk much? It's not like EN or even dA to an extent. Sparky needs friends!

   Well here goes....
Hi there! So this is the first post on my site... I know it's a little crappy and my work insn't the best but I try really hard and I love what I do and that's all that matters... although votes and comments don't go amiss, thank you to all those who do support me, especially you DestinyHero, you're the best *huggles* ^^

I 'own' the art forum so to speak on the forum I go on where I have friends supporting me.

I guess drawing to me is not only a hobby but also a release. Everyone has their problems and I'm not emo but life gets diffcult at home at times so it's wonderful to just be able to slip into fantasy away from it all.
