yet another poem
my head is spinning,
I cannot take the pain,
I miss your kind words,
I miss your warm embrace,
I miss you wispering to me,
to be unafraid of the dark,
with you I was unafraid,
with you I felt I could do anything,
with you I could take on the world,
but now your gone,
I'm stuck in this rut,
I can't get out,
the beating inside me slows with the ticking of the clock,
as the snow silently falls,
my vision is blurring,
my eyes are burning,
my face is freezing,
I see my life flash before me,
the only worthwhile thing I see,
Is the sight of you and me,
so without you,
I fall,
fall so deeply,
i cannot flee,
my painful lullaby,
sing me into my final rest,
I'll remember you,
always,
sing me into my final sleep,
so i'll always remember your voice...
