When darkness consumes
Memories are lost
Friends become foes
But what's the cost

When our minds our clouded
Not knowing what's wrong or right
Engulfed by anger and hatred
Living only to fight

Dreams are drenched in darkness
Hopes fall apart
And there lies a being
Without a heart

But where there is darkness
There is a sliver of light
One must only believe
To win the fight

Let us walk on the path of destiny
Let us walk into the night
Never fearing darkness
For there will always be light

The light and dark of our hearts...
