Secret Base
Sara walked along the property for a while. She might as well get used to it. Sohma house was starting to look like her home for a while. As Sara walked along the path, she noticed a small garden to her left. The little garden was overgrown with weeds and was looking like it hadn't been watered in a while.
"Those poor plants. I hope Yuki doesn't mind me helping a bit." Sara said to herself as she headed towards the little vegitable patch.
Sara got down on her knees and began to pull the weeds from the ground, one by one, roots and all. After about half an hour there was quite a pile of weeds lying on the ground next to her.
She whiped her forehead and sighed. "Man, I haven't done any gardening for a while. It's nice... Maybe Yuki'll let me help, or start my own not far from here." Sara spied a tree with a rock that looked rather comfortable and walked over to it. Sara sat on the rock and leaned against the tree, closing her eyes she sighed and pondered.
Her situation wasn't looking too good. She was stuck in a foreign country, she didn't speak the language and she wasn't even in her own body.
"Oh well." Sara said as she stood and looked for a watering can or hose. She just so happedned to trip over the watering can by the rock, that for some reason she hadn't seen earlier.
"Eureka!" Sara giggled at herself for using such an outdated term and grabbing the watering can crossed the distance from the tree to the vegitable patch in two strides.
As she was watering she wondered about the pile of weeds. There was no real place to put them, but she didn't want to leave them by Yuki's "Secret Base".
*"Thank you, Sara-sama." Yuki said from behind her in his usual quite tones.
Startled, Sara spun to face him. 'Oh crap! He looks upset. I hope I didn't make him angry with me!' She thought to herself. "Uhh...Hi...Yuki-kun?" Sara stumbled over the words.
*"I'm sorry to startle you, but the others are looking for you. You should go back inside. I can take care of the rest." Yuki said quietly.
"I don't know what you're saying. I'm sorry for intruding... I know this is your place... For you to be alone and to contemplate..." Sara sighed.
*"Gomen... Gomen Yuki-kun." Sara said, knowing that the version of 'sorry' she was using was too informal, but it was the best she could do.
"I hear more English than I say." Yuki said, obviously flustered by his improper use of grammer.
"You understand more than you can speak?" Sara corrected and questioned.
"Hai...Yes." Yuki smiled and nodded, knowing Sara could speak a little Japanese. "Shigure-san...The others...Want words...You." Yuki said, looking at his plants.
"Is Ayame clothed?" Sara asked teasingly, knowing he probably was. Yuki nodded and looked at her.
*"Arigato, Yuki-kun." Sara said, bowing to Yuki, trying to make him feel a little more comefortable around her. Sara looked at the weeds and gave Yuki a look that told him, she didn't really know what she was supposed to do with the weeds, and that she'd help out more next time before walking off.
