Pic update!
Hmmmm, its only been 3 months since I updated. Jeez, I'm so lazy! Anyway, I decided to update my pic because it was time for a change. School is going well (I start clinicals in January and am well on my way to my degree) as is the band. I've started drawing again so keep on the lookout for additions to my fan manga. I know you guys have been wanting to know what happens next and I'm sorry for taking so long. I just did a pretty cool cover for it yesterday and I will upload it soon. That's all I got for now. Fan art contest!!!!!!
Ok, so if any of you guys are interested in proving your artistic mettle, head on over to resident drawing guru Seifer Sama's site and check out the rules. Apparently it will come down to the 3 best pieces as judged by a panel of myOtaku members (Seifer Sama included). She is even going as far as to offer a prize so you should definitely check it out if you have any artistic ability whatsoever. The deadline is September 1st (which is a bit tight for my slow ass) but even I might submit a new piece! Just wanted to spread the word.....

Also, my band's website is doing great and I am pretty sure alot of it is due to my friends here at myOtaku. I just wanted to thank everyone who has taken the time to check it out and listen to our music. When you are an unsigned, local band from a small town, it is hard to get your music out there and it is for this reason that I am so gratified to have access to so many cool people through Adam's ingenious site. We are playing in a battle of the bands put on by local radio station The Fox 92.7 fm on September 2nd so wish us luck! That's all for now. Time to sign some GB's!! Laterz!

Man I'm slack.....
First, let me say that I am really sorry for not having posted in so long, or for not signing all of your guestbooks. I try to keep up, but with the band and school (and the incredible amount of people that sign my guestbook) I seem to have fallen behind. I really do appreciate all of the kind words and will keep trying to sign all of them.....it just might take a while. I just wanted to let you guys know that I still come by here and am stoked that so many of you like my site. Ok, gotta go.....laterz!

dbz fan manga update!!!
Alright, alright, after months and months I have finally pulled out the old artbook, dusted it off, and put pen to paper! I have just posted the latest page of my fan manga and hope you guys like it. It's nothing great really; kind of a change of pace page. Anyway, it's uploaded if you want to take a look. I'm going to try and do these pages a little more frequently in the future (pages 11 and 12 are seperated by approximately a year and a half, so the artwork may be a bit inconsistent). Let me know what you think......

Band website finally up and running!!
I told you all it would happen. Well, my band finally has a website! You guys should all go visit it at www.waterbillrocks.com. There are full bios, pictures, music downloads (I especially want to hear some feedback on our music) and so on. Also, many thanks to Adam and Velegant for hosting the site at such a reasonable cost. If you need a web host, Adam is definitely the man (but then everybody here already knew that, right). Anyway, sorry about not updating recently. I have spent literally days and days making our band site from scratch (and I knew absolutely zero about web design). Man am I tired. But yeah, come check out the site and let me know what you think.

Random thoughts....
*Well, its been about another 3 months of not posting! I am real slack it would seem. At any rate, I was shocked to see that my number of visits has nearly tripled since I last checked and that I am #6 on the popularity thingy. For this I simply have no explanation. I, of course, am grateful to anyone who ever pops by my site to check it out, but frankly have no idea why so many people have done so, especially since my long absense. Oh well, I do enjoy reading the many kind and wonderful entries into my GB so thanks to all!!

*I officially have a new favorite anime. I have been obsessed recently with Shonen Jump for one reason: Naruto! This manga is simply incredible! THe storytelling is fantastic, the artwork superb, and the emotional content quite dramatic (I felt a tear come to my eye when Sakura knelt down by Sasuke's body, tears flowing. Shhhh, don't tell anyone). I have been downloading the anime on Kazaa and, while the artwork isn't quite up to Toriyama's quality, it is nonetheless, very good. I would definitely recommend Naruto to any anime fan (though I'm sure most of you are quite aware of it by now) who has not yet seen it!

*Things have been kinda crazy as far as the band is concerned. We have been recording a 3 song demo for a couple of days now to enter into a contest. The winner will get to play the Warped Tour in August!! Needless to say we are all hopeful of this opportunity, though cautiously so (as there are a great many bands entering). We've just finished writing, what I think is our best song yet. I wish there was a way for me to let you guys hear it, but I don't know anyplace that would host a whole song for free. Oh well, we should have a site at some point and we can host it there.

*Here's some random facts:

Current favorite animes-Cowboy Bebop, Inuyasha (yes, I said that all of the characters look female, but it really is a good show if you give it a chance), and Naruto.

Current favorite bands-Unwritten Law (can you believe these idiots fired their drummer?!? He rocks!), Rise Against, and Slick Shoes.

Current favorite fast food-Definitely Hardees (Carl's Junior for you guys out on the west coast). Those thickburgers rule!

Last movie I saw-The Alamo with Billy Bob Thornton and Dennis Quaid. It was quite good, if a bit long.

Next movie I will see-Probably Kill Bill Vol. 2. Gotta love Tarantino's take on live action anime!

Movie most looking forward to-Spider Man 2 for sure!!!

Current favorite hottie-Hmmmm, tough one. I guess I have to go with Kendall of the Real World/Road Rules challenge. She's mad hot!!!

Video Game in my PS2 right now-MVP baseball 2004.

New artwork posted!!
Well, I finally got around to posting the rest of my fan manga and another pic I drew (If you know my site from way back then none of this is actually new, it's just new to the fan art section). Anyway, I still love the pic I did of my old band. I think it really turned out well. Speaking of musical enterprises, we had another great practice last night and added another member! Now there are five guys in Waterbill as we added a new bassist (the old bassist wanted to concentrate on singing). He is a kid compared to us, only 19, but picks up really quick and is super dedicated. We nearly have a completed set list down and are going to be ready to play shows within a month, I hope! Keep on the lookout for our website as well. We will be launching one soon and can use all the support we can get. It will feature mp3 downloads so you guys can listen and see if we suck or not! I am going to be drawing a new pic of our new band and posting it here soon so stay tuned!

In other news, I have been re-watching all of my DBZ dvds/tapes recently as it has been awhile since I had done so. I have all of them and I love watching them in order (it's like one mega-super-long episode some 130+ hours long!!!!!). Anyway, I was watching and when Cell regenerates his head (after Goku blew it off), the announcer says "Leaping lizards......Flaming fishsticks!!" I don't know why, but I thought that was so funny. Flaming fishsticks! I've been using it myself and it still makes me chuckle! Um, ok so I'm weird, what's it to ya! Haha, well, that's all I got. Back!!!
Well, well, well........You've all dreamed about it, stayed up nights wondering, "just where the hell is that Eric guy????" Um, yeah, that's right. Anyway, Here I am in all my glory!! In all seriousness, I have to apologize for my absence. I guess I've just been distracted with school and the band. I see that so many people have been coming here still, even though I haven't had the decency to post in so long. I want to thank all of you for sticking with me (and not deleting me as a friend). That being said, on to the news:

Well, it's been a struggle band wise. A couple of months ago our lead guitar player quit. This really screwed us up because we need 2 guitar players for our music. We couldn't seem to find anyone to play guitar and sing so things looked pretty bad. Eventually we ended up talking to a friend of ours who plays guitar in another band and he said he would like to play bass for us! After some switching around (the bass player moved to guitar and the new guy to bass/singer) we've had nothing but success so far! We've recorded 3 full songs and just the other day at practice wrote what I think is our best song yet! On top of that, we have been booked in a battle of the bands in Savannah (that's Georgia, guys) and the winner get's $500 and free studio time to record an album! Needless to say, we have been practicing like crazy...........

In other news, I got 2 A's and 2 C's in my first semester of college. Not good, not bad. It was alot of work so I only took 3 classes this semester in hopes of a lighter workload. Unfortunately, I have to get all A's from now on.........

And now what you've all been waiting for. well, not really, but anyway, My Gohan/Videl manga! I know I said I was going to post the next page forever-ago, but I'm still working on it. I promise it will be up by the end of the week. Pinky-swear! I have run into a problem with my picture-hosting site. It seems they will no longer allow free memberships to link to pictures (which is kind of like saying, "yeah, you can have a free DVD, but you can't ever open it or watch it") so I will have to find another host. Nevertheless, I will post on my fanart page so you can check it out.........

Again, I'm sorry for my absence. I have been trying to catch up with all of you guys' sites and hope I can still be your friend. Laterz!

Well, I got a diffrent car instead. It is still a 1995 Honda Prelude VTEC, but it is green with tan leather. It has 190 hp and does 0-60 mph in 6.5 seconds!!! I just got a 10-disc cd changer installed at circuit city and decided to snap a few pics. Behold, my new baby!


Now all I have to do is figure out how to get those tacky bumper stickers off the rear bumper. Let me know what you think.
