Sorry about not posting in so long. I guess nobody is still coming here anymore anyway, so it probably doesn't matter. I've been sooooo busy with school and the band that I haven't had any time to post. I'm also getting a new car this week so I've just been booked solid. I promise (to those who are still interested) to have the next page of the manga posted soon. I just need to scan it.
The car I'm getting, btw, is a 1995 Honda Prelude VTEC. It is black with black leather and is so bad ass I cannot even justify it in words. If you have ever seen one, you know what I mean. Anyway, that brings me to a question. What kind of car do you guys have (if you're not old enough yet, what kind of car do you want)? I'd be interested to know what you guys are driving out there. Anyway, have a happy Thanksgiving (you americans that is)!! Laterz!

Good news!!!!!!!!
Well, I went to class today and guess what?? One of the girls in my class handed me my sketchbook!!!! She said that she found it under my seat after class last week and tried to return it, but I was already gone. So, thankfully my art has been returned to me. I'll scan the next page of my manga tomorrow and post it. See yaz!

OH THE HORROR!!!!!
Well, I lost my sketchbook with all my drawings and manga. I was getting ready to scan my latest page when I realized all I had was my new book. I've looked everywhere for my older book to no avail. My guess is that I left it under my chair in one of my classes (that's what I get for drawing in class). Anyway, I have all of my drawings backed up on my computer (except for the last page of the GV comic) but it still sucks to lose all of the originals. Oh well, maybe it will turn up somewhere.......

Ah, the shame!
Ok, I admit it! I am a huge Star Trek fan! You may all stone me now! Anyway, I just got season 6 of DS9 last night and have been in ST bliss ever since (DS9 is a seriously great show, especially after season 4). The Dominion war is one of the coolest story arcs ever conceived for a primetime, hour long dramatic series. The actors are also simply incredible. Avery Brooks (Captain Sisko) is perhaps my favorite actor. He is really good. So is Rene Auberjonois (Odo). He played the preacher in "The Patriot." Wallace Shawn (Grand Negus Zek) is always hillarious. He, of course, was Vizzini in "The Princess Bride." Anyway, if you've never watched this great show, I highly recommend it.
I had to register for classes yesterday. I'm glad that I got all the classes I wanted this time. This past semester I had to take what was left as most of the classes were full. My advisor is a practicing Radiologist at our local hospital, so I decided to ask her some questions as to what I can expect from my classes next year. It turns out that I will be spending most of my "schooling" next year as a practicing radiology tech at the hospital. I guess it's sort of like being a resident (basically working for free while you learn).
So she was going over the particular duties we will have as residents working at the hospital when I heard this. "....Also, whenever they call us to the morgue, we all go down there to help out....." I was kind of half listening to her at the time, but for some reason that sentences stood out, so I asked her what she meant. "Well," she said, "often times we have to X-ray the corpses in the morgue to determine cause of death."
She went on to say something about having to move these corpses around to get the pictures and that they are usually very stiff by then. All I could think of was that I will be doing this in less than a year! I guess entering the medical field I should have better prepared for this eventuality, but it never really crossed my mind. The thought of handling dead people is not at the top of my list as "things I can't wait to do," however, I must admit to a morbid sense of curiosity that exists in me to see what death looks like.....
I don't know, I guess I'll just have to wait until next year and see what happens. Hopefully it won't be too overwhelming for me.

More manga???
Well, here is the next page of my manga (man, I really should give this a title, huh?). I wonder what vile plans our masked stranger has in mind for Videl? Stay tuned for the next episode of "DBZ and the mystery of the stereotypical masked ninja!" Um, yeah. Anyway, this page was fun to draw. I hope you guys like! ^-^

Yay!
Well, I finally finished inking the 12th page of my manga. It's amazing that I am now finishing this page nearly a year after I originally pencilled it! Anyway, expect page 11 to be up sometime soon. I also have begun work on page 13 (I always start with the layout first). I finally got myself a T-square! All of the other pages I just used a regular ruler. The T-square should make drawing the panels alot easier. I am quite amused that everyone is trying to guess who the mysterious "ninja" is. All I can say is be patient. I'm sure it will be a big surprise to you all ^-^
Did you know there are 206 bones in the human body? Well, I had to know every single one of them last Tuesday! We had a lab exam in which all of these bones (REAL human bones I might add) were laid out on a table. The professor held each one up and we had to name them! It was pretty weird studying these bones knowing that they used to be a person (especially the skulls!). If I decide to transfer to a medical school next year we will be dissecting real human bodies! That ought to be quite interesting. Imagine if you died today and tomorrow an entire classroom of college kids were examining every inch of your body! Makes you kinda second guess donating your body to science, eh? Lol. Laterz!

Another manga update!!!!
Hey guys!! I wanted to get another page of my fan manga up for your viewing pleasure so here I am! I have been so gratified by the positive reactions I have received so far. I truly appreciate all of your compliments (and constructive criticsm). We are finally nearing the end of what I have completed so far. Contrary to popular opinion, I am not currently working on this manga. I drew this page nearly a year ago. In fact, I have not done any work on it since January! I completed 11 full pages over the course of last year and have a 12th page that is not inked yet. Unfortunately personal issues and time constraints prohibited me from continuing my work over the last 9 months or so. I hope to finish inking page 12 soon so I can post it after the next page, but unfortunately, the story is, as of yet, unfinished. I'm going to try to work on page 13 soon (after I finish 12)but honestly, it may take some time to do (each page generally took me around a week or 2 to finish!!) and I have not drawn any pages in almost a year so it may take me a while before I am back into the "zone," so to speak. Anyway, here is page 10. I hope you enjoy, and remember, There are still 2 more nearly completed pages after this one so keep checking back ^-^ Laterz!

Who knew "under God" was so offensive??
I've been listening to this hub-bub about the pledge of allegiance and how it is unconstitutional (alledgedly) to have the phrase "under God" in it. Folks, this is ridiculous leftist nonsense and I just wanted to say that somewhere. What is the matter with people today? I can't understand why people take offense to such silly problems nowadays when there is certainly so much in the world that we should be worrying about instead! I don't know what any of you guys' opinions on this matter are, but I can tell you mine. If you are downright offended by the phrase "under God," I think you should seriously calm down and re-evaluate the sorts of things you take offense to. If you don't want to say the pledge (or don't want your kids to) then shut up and don't say it. To take offense to it, however is just silly. If you don't think it's silly, check out this link and listen to it.

*It should be noted that no where in the Constitution does it state anything about the seperation of church and state. In fact, the Constitution itself mentions God. The only reason there even is a seperation of church and state is because of court cases, not the constitution. So if anyone says church and government is unconstitutional, they are wrong.

Another Gohan and Videl page for your viewing pleasure!
Hey guys! Yes, yes, here is the latest installment of my dbz fan manga. To answer several people's comments, yes there is some fan service going on here. This was slightly intentional on my part, but at the same time, most people don't go to bed fully clothed anyway and I figured Videl would be no exception. If any of you are offended by this, please let me know as that is NOT my intention. Anyway, I hope you guys enjoy! Laterz!

Hey!
I just got through watching one of my favorite movies of al time: Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. THat movie is sooooooo great (and it's not just because Zhang Ziyi is so hot........well, that has something to do with it!). Anyway, as I was watching it, it occured to me that this movie would have been an unbelievable anime as well. Think about it. It really is kind of like a live action anime, what with the great fight scenes, the unbelievable effects, and the wonderfully complex plot. What do you think? Doesn't this movie have an anime vibe to it? Anyway, see you around!
