Who knew "under God" was so offensive??
I've been listening to this hub-bub about the pledge of allegiance and how it is unconstitutional (alledgedly) to have the phrase "under God" in it. Folks, this is ridiculous leftist nonsense and I just wanted to say that somewhere. What is the matter with people today? I can't understand why people take offense to such silly problems nowadays when there is certainly so much in the world that we should be worrying about instead! I don't know what any of you guys' opinions on this matter are, but I can tell you mine. If you are downright offended by the phrase "under God," I think you should seriously calm down and re-evaluate the sorts of things you take offense to. If you don't want to say the pledge (or don't want your kids to) then shut up and don't say it. To take offense to it, however is just silly. If you don't think it's silly, check out this link and listen to it.

*It should be noted that no where in the Constitution does it state anything about the seperation of church and state. In fact, the Constitution itself mentions God. The only reason there even is a seperation of church and state is because of court cases, not the constitution. So if anyone says church and government is unconstitutional, they are wrong.
