   Oy!!!

Well,
I think I'm better about my friend zinke. (never foget him though) but we must move on from our fears and sadness. Well, I haven't been doing much lately. My mom took away the following from me: my Gamecube, gameboy advance and SP, also the DS, my radio/stereo, my keyboard (for the computer), my phone. Also, I really wouldn't care about any of this, but we don't have cable, so I literaly have no entertainment. I can't draw lateley because I usually get my insperations from my video games. I've been using the school computer so far... and it's not bad or anything but it's a hassle. Well, I've noticed that my posts are pretty boring so I've decided to ask a question each time. So here's the very first one.

enjoy!

question of today: #1)
Who is your favorite video game character and why?

Have a cool day!

This sort of looks like me a little. But, Oh well. Do you guys even read these stupid descriptions?

   sadness

Well, today my post is of all seriousness. One of my closest friends on the Otaku has passed away last friday. zinke (you might have known him, he was quite popular on here) died while in the hospital. I called his mom on Friday to question him why his account was down and she just broke down on the phone. This post is dedicated to him. You'll be remembered.

~mamma DX

We will remember you zinke. We all will.

Ch.5: Right Between the Eyes

Ch 5
Right Between the Eyes

He walked out of the building and stood there. "Uh, where was the training place? CRAP!" He looked around. It looked far more spread out than yesterday. Then a metal bus pulled up and opened the door. Zeke peered in. The driver lowered his head. "In or out?" he asked. He sounded tired. Zeke grinned sheepishly and said, "That depends on where you're gonna' take me." The driver glared at the new comer. "I make a stop at each building now get on or stay off." Zeke hopped on quickly and searched for a seat. He looked over to the back where he saw a rather thin man sitting alone. "Sit down already!" the driver shouted. "Ok. Ok." Zeke said, walking to the empty seat. Zeke sat next to the man and crossed his legs in a refined way. Zeke started to worry. How was he going to know which building was which? He dropped his head back and stared at the bus roof. The whole thing was silver and shiny. Most everything in Headquarters was red, black, or silver. "It's a bland world." thought Zeke. He glanced out the window to check the building they stopped at. "Stop one. Main Building." Zeke blew his bangs of his face and returned his gaze to the front. The man next to him shifted in his seat. Zeke looked over and, to his surprise; the man was looking at him. They both looked away at once. "Uh, sorry 'bout that." Zeke said. The man shook his head. "Not at all. It was my fault." he said. Zeke looked at him again. His voice was very feminine-like. Zeke wanted to laugh but he held it in. In fact, this man didn't look like a man at all. He was very slender and had a thin waist. He had a cloak on, much like Zeke's, and baggy black pants. He also had a red scarf covering the lower half of his face. His eyes were almond shaped and they were violet. His eyelashes were long and they appeared to have mascara on them because they were unusually black. Zeke looked away again, afraid that if he continued to look, he would say something insulting. "Where are you going to?" the man asked. "Uh, the training building, place, thing." Zeke stuttered. The man laughed. Zeke grew red. He only messed up his words when he talked to girls. "Why the hell is this happening now?" Zeke thought. "Stop two. Medical Facility." "Are you new here?" he asked. Zeke breathed in deep and regained his posture. "Yeah, I mean yes." Zeke wanted to slap himself. Yeah, I mean yes? That didn't even make any sense! "Did they teach you about the places here?" Zeke hesitated. He was planning what he was going to say but he didn't dare to try. He just nodded. The man sat up, excited. "Do you happen to know where the DM is?" the man asked rapidly. "Oh, actually I don't." The man loosened up. "Oh." Even though Zeke didn't know the guy, he felt bad that he couldn't help. "Stop three Training Building." "I'm sorry. I wish I could help." "It's alright. I wish you luck." "Huh?" You're going to the training place thing, correct?" he asked politely. "Yeah... I just got-" Zeke glanced outside and the bus started to move. "Crap! WAIT!" Zeke yelled as he ran to the bus door. The man in the back giggled. The driver groaned loudly. "Get off!" he shouted. Zeke quickly got off the bus and stepped back. The door slammed shut in his face and it zoomed off. As it passed, Zeke noticed the man looking at him through the window. He sighed aloud. "Aw, I'm such a loser." he told himself. He turned around and walked up to the large building. He walked in and was standing in a big empty lobby. He heard a bunch of guys' voices behind the door at the end. His co-workers he thought. He had to make a good impression. Walk in casually, sit down in a dramatic pose, and wait for the reaction. He looked down at his watch. He was already ten minutes late. He breathed deep and grabbed the door knob. What are these guys going to be like, he thought. So far he met an old guy, a young kid, a girl-man, and a pissed off bus driver. In other words, a unique bunch of people. He pushed open the door and slowly walked inside. Everybody stopped talking and looked over. Zeke didn't make eye contact with anybody but he did notice that there was allot of people in there. Maybe about fifteen. He sat down at a big meeting table that was in the middle of the room. Soon after, Mitsurugi entered the room. Everybody sat down. "Alright. As most of you have seen, we have a new recruit." Mitsurugi said while pointing at Zeke. Some people glanced his way. Zeke shrunk in his seat a little. He tried to not look at them, but he did notice one man. He had short blonde hair. His bangs were long, though. They were parted to one side and they completely covered one eye. He was about Zeke's size and he had a blank expression on his face. They all returned their gaze back to Commander. "Anyways, no demon sightings have been announced so continue with your normal training until told otherwise." He stood up and the people started to depart. "Except you three." he added. He pointed at the blonde man, Zeke, and another guy. They approached Sir and stood tall. "I want you two to train Mr. Aunama the basics. D, I'm putting you in charge." The blonde one nodded. "First, take him to the shooting gallery. Then go on from there." He nodded again. "Alright dismissed." The blonde man turned around with the other guy and they started to walk out. "Uh, um, see you, old man." Zeke called back following the two. "BOY!" yelled Mitsurugi from the room. The one man laughed as he shut the door. "Heh, heh. I never heard Captain sound so pissed." Zeke lightened up. This guy wasn't so bad. "Yeah, well, I guess we got off on the wrong start." Zeke said while rubbing the back of his head in embarrassment. The blonde guy kept looking straight, walking. "He called you boy! Never heard that." Zeke clenched his fists. "Yeah, well, whatever." They turned around a corner into an even longer hallway. The man turned around and started to walk backwards. He had brown hair and was very slim. His hair was slick against his skull. "Oh, forgot. I'm Rodd. This is D. Welcome to Headquarters." Still, D did nothing, he just kept walking. "Thanks." Zeke said as he watched D. "Any questions? Frustrations?" Rodd asked. Zeke sighed. "I still can’t believe that girls aren't allowed down here." Rodd grabbed his face. "Aw, God! I know. Took me awhile too. But in the summer, you can schedule short vacations to go up above." he said while pointing up. It sounded as if he spoke of heaven. "As soon as you get back down here, though, they search ya' like some kind of stray animal. Apparently, impure blood is dominant in females and it spreads with any cross of their DNA. Precautions, I guess, to make sure you didn't turn into one while ya' slept with the girl." "Sounds like vacation to me." Zeke joked. Rodd shook his head and laughed. Finally, they reached a door and D stopped in front of it. He slipped a card through a scanner and the door opened. He went to the side and allowed the two in. It was similar to a police shooting gallery. There were concrete walls with empty square windows. Outside of the windows was a long hallway with plastic dummies hanging from wires. "Ok, in ES2, we mainly use these." Rodd said. He tossed a medium sized gun at Zeke. Zeke caught it. It looked heavier that it actually was. Zeke swung it on his finger and grabbed it. "Handgun?" he asked. Rodd pushed a switch on the wall. "Yup. Specially modified here." The plastic bodies started to move slowly. "Oh, put these on." He handed him a pair of goggles. He slid them over his face. He examined the smooth black gun. Zeke opened the bullet chamber and it was loaded. "All yours." Rodd said, stepping back. Zeke stepped up to the window, extended his arms, and took aim. That's when the door slid open. Zeke looked behind him and many people walked in. "Oh, you training the new guy, Rodd?" one asked. "Yeah. He's taking his first shot." Rodd said returning his gaze to Zeke. "Did ya' ever shoot at anything before?" one asked. "Y, yeah. A demon." Zeke said. Someone in the back whispered. "I heard that it was a kid." A big portion of the audience began to snigger. Zeke, starting to get nervous, re-aimed. "It's going pretty slow." Zeke heard someone say. A lot of murmurs went after. Rodd raised a hand to silence them. "It's his first one. He's to start off slo-" "I can take it faster." Zeke said. D, leaning against the wall, lifted his head up and watched. The crowd was quiet. "If that's what you want." Rodd said, frustrated. He turned the switch clockwise and the dummies began to speed up. A guy in the back whispered to his friend, "I beat that one on my third day. Hit it right in the crotch!" Zeke was feeling daring. He wanted respect. In his last job, he didn't get any. He always dreamed of having real friends at his job. Praising him and maybe even looking up to him. "Turn it to the highest." Zeke said. Rodd's eyes filled with anger. The crowd behind him cheered Zeke on. "Shut up, everyone. Zeke, just shoot the damn thing! I am one of Commander's best men. Even I can't shoot it at top speed. Only one guy was known to shoot it. Ever!" The people booed loudly. "We're just havin' fun! Let him do it." "Yeah!" "C'mon Rodd!" Rodd forcefully turned the switch to the max. The dummies jolted across the hallway like men running away from death. They swung side to side and even went up and down. The crowd quieted down. "I swear I'm gonna' report this." whispered Rodd. D watched Zeke carefully. Zeke slowly stretched out his arms and he took aim. "Shit!" Zeke thought. What had he gotten himself into? He was never going to hit one. He firmly placed his right index finger on the trigger. Then, all he did was watch. He would aim at a certain spot and when one passed he would shoot. The people held their breaths. Even Rodd was on his toes, waiting. Watching them zoom passed him, he fired. The dummies stopped immediately and a loud screech stung the air of the room. Everyone covered their ears. Rodd pushed another button and the dummies began to float towards the window. Zeke lowered his gun and stepped back. Rodd walked up to the window and grabbed the dummies one by one. The crowd watched, shoving each other to get a better view. Rodd shuffled through them. He tossed un-shot ones aside. Everyone he grabbed was thrown to the ground. Zeke watched each one hit the floor. Some people began to whisper. "I knew he wouldn't do it." "Yeah, great determination, though." "It's impossible, especially for a rookie." "Yeah, rookies need extra practice anyway." Zeke flinched at every rookie thrown his way. Zeke took the goggles off and dropped the gun on the counter. Rodd grabbed for the next dummy. D slid back against the wall. The crowd began to leave, disappointed. That silence was the worst thing that Zeke ever heard. This job, he could already tell, was going to be worse. "Holy shit!" Rodd yelled. People looked back. Zeke didn't even bother. "You hit 'em! Y, you did! I can't believe!" The people rushed back in and Zeke swirved around. There was a hole right in-between the dummy's pressed eyes, smoke still rolling out from it. The people went for the dummy, grabbing and pulling at it. Some ran to Zeke and slapped his shoulder, rubbed his hair, and patted him on the back. Shouting things like "Awesome!", "Unbelievable, man!", and "When I saw you, I knew you had it in ya'!". Zeke gaped at the dummy's head, smile starting to spread across his face. He did it. Rodd finally relinquished the dummy to the crowd and ran over to Zeke, pushing the mob aside. "C'mon people! This calls for a celebration!" Everyone cheered. Zeke could feel himself being lifted up. Rodd and a few other guys held him up high. "That would never kill a demon." The parade looked over. D stood there calmly. "It wouldn't. I would know." D said while picking up the handgun. He flipped it and exchanged it to his other hand then aimed at Zeke. The crowd watched intensely. "Luck won't be by your side when they sneak up behind you or attack you in packs." he said. He slowly took the gun from D and pocketed it. They let Zeke slide down. D glared at Zeke for a few seconds and then turned and walked away.

   ISS

Ummmm,
Well I have ISS today (In School Suspension) which isn't bad at all. It's actually fun! They let you draw pics and sleep! The last time, I forgot my lunch though, and It sucked because I was pretty hungry the whole time. The only time they let you get out of the tiny room is to go to the bathroom and they only let you three times. It doesn't really matter to me though. This is my second "round" here. I also have three saturday schools ahead of me as well. Um... yup... that's all for now.

   Damn...

I guess this is what happens when you get to go on the computer for a long period of time. You get your ass kicked by Kirby in SSBM. He was at level nine but still... It makes me want to remember my RE4 game and how I can't beat it. Well, while I was thinking of Kirby, I found this animation. Enjoy the wrath of Kirby because he can kick ass.

WAAAAARRRGGGH

Hi guys.
I’m not in school right now. That’s probably why I’m on the computer at 9:44 AM in the first place. I got the 4th chapter up and I submitted a few things… when I say that I mean one drawing… wow. I was thinking about showing you guys (on the Otaku) my comic but then I remembered how hard it would be and that it is crap anyway. One thing that has been bothering me is that I can’t beat RE4… I’m so close… I know it… I’m at where you battle with Krauser. The part where Krauser “whips” it out. His arm. He “whips” his arm out. I know… I’m so lame. I think I’m gonna’ shoot myself if I can’t beat it… so close… I’m so close…

Justine sucks... she sucks so bad. She can't even beat RE4... god, she sucks.

Ch.4: Shawn's Parents

Ch 4
Shawn's Parents

Zeke emerged from the door and immediately flopped onto his mattress. "Oh, God! Finally! Bed!" he yawned. He outstretched his arms and legs and kicked off his shoes. He looked around his room. He was going to live here now. Not too shabby. "Well, at least the door leads straight to the bed." he laughed. He unbuttoned his cloak and dropped it to the floor. There was a slight jingle. He looked over, interested, and grabbed in one of the many pockets. It was the necklace. Zeke lay back down and held the odd charm above his head. Some light from the artificial moon crept in and shined on the crystal. It caused the room to appear glowing and red. The bad feelings started to come as they did in the car. Only this time the only feeling he had was that he was alone. He glanced at the empty red pillow next to him and sighed. "No women, huh?" He shoved the cursed necklace into the cloak. He turned onto his back and closed his eyes. He thought of the nurse. "I'm never gonna’ get laid here." he groaned. Soon, he drifted away to sleep.
It was dark and pouring out. Everything was how he had remembered. Except, the buildings. They towered over him, twisted and mangled. Then he heard them. The footsteps racing towards the alley ways. The moment taking him over, he yelled, "Freeze!" He ran after the noise and followed it into a dead alley where the boy turned and faced him. The boy looked helpless, all backed up against the wall. He was sweating and he had tears swelled up under his eyes. The boy started walking forward. "Ok." Zeke thought, "Here's where it'll start to make sense." He aimed his gun. He was ready for the demon this time. But, the boy just walked forward with his head bent down in shame. This was not the same after all. But Zeke held his gun high, ready for the boy to spring. The whole night flashed in his eyes. The fangs, the wound, and the boy's blood. Zeke fired. The boy's delicate body flew against the brick wall. Zeke could hear the breaking of bones on impact. The child was limp on the cement. Zeke, horrified at what he had done, quickly approached the boy and checked for a pulse. None. He opened the boy's eye. It was blue and the pupil was rather large. He checked the mouth and saw normal human teeth. Zeke dropped his head. He had killed a child. Zeke lifted the boy up into his arms and started walking back to where he left his police car. "Is this what really happened?" Zeke thought. He remembered fainting. Is this what happened after? How was he going to inform his fellow officers? His Lieutenant. The boy's parents.
He looked down at the boy's face. The boy was awake, wide awake. He scratched at Zeke's head. He dropped to the ground holding his slit face. "Stay calm!" Zeke shouted, trying to stop his forehead from bleeding. The boy ran towards him, claws first. Zeke grabbed for his gun but it wasn't there. The boy sliced Zeke's throat. He gagged and firmly closed the wound with his hands. The boy smiled evilly and lunged again. Unable to use his hands, he kicked the boy in the stomach. It didn't harm the child at all. He only used it as leverage to get higher up. He landed behind Zeke and grabbed his head. The boy bared his fangs and bit deeply in his neck. Zeke yelled and reached for him but he evaded as if it was nothing. The boy kept peeling flesh away from him. Blood was dripping down the boy's neck. Zeke squirmed and tried to get loose. He was losing oxygen even faster now. Zeke felt liquid oozing from his mouth and he knew that it wasn't saliva. The child, full, stood up and placed his sneaker on Zeke's neck and pressed down. "STOP!" Zeke wheezed. The boy playfully pivoted on one foot and then stomped down hard. "STOP!" The boy pulled Zeke's gun from behind his back and aimed at him between the eyes. "STOP! STOP! STOP! STOP!" The gun clicked and-
"STOP!" Zeke shouted, as he shot up from his bed. He wiped his wet forehead which was sweat covered and cold. "Damn." He slumped on the back board and let his head drop back. He had to stop thinking about that kid. It was driving him crazy that it bugged him so much. He looked over at his alarm clock and its red numbers glowed 6:00 p.m. In one more hour, Zeke would start his ES2 training. He jumped off his bed and stood up tall. His bed was a disaster. The blankets were sprawled on the floor and the pillows were wet from his sweat. It looked as if a woman had been there. He wiped his face and walked to the bathroom. He stared at the image in the mirror. He was pale and he looked practically white with his dark hair. Zeke turned the faucet on and splashed water on his face. Instead of wiping it off he let it drip down the drain. "Zeke! You there?" called a voice. Zeke quickly turned around, water flew off his face. He ran to the door and swung it open. It was Shawn. "Um, hey. I just thought I'd give you a little wake up call so you have time to get ready and stuff." Shawn stuttered. Zeke smiled and stretched his arms back. "Thanks buddy." "No problem." Shawn fidgeted in the hallway. "You can come in if you want." Shawn's face brightened. "Thanks." he said as he walked in. He looked around and sighed. "So, it's true." Shawn said, depressed. "What is?" Zeke pulled on a white shirt. "That squad members have better rooms." Zeke looked over at Shawn as he laced up his boots. "You have a bad room or something?" "Well, I live with the maintenance workers. I'm not old enough to live on my own." Zeke started to wonder. Shawn was pretty young to be working for an army-like organization. "You live here by yourself? No family?" Shawn looked down and his glasses slipped a little. "By myself." "Why are you here then? What do your parents think?" Shawn sat down on Zeke's messed up bed. He looked at Zeke. Shawn had sad eyes and looked as if he would blow away with the breeze. Zeke stopped getting ready and looked over at him. "I don't have any parents anymore. They died when I was six." "I'm sorry." Zeke apologized. Shawn said nothing. He only nodded. "If you don't mind me asking, how?" Zeke asked quietly. "Captain." he said. Zeke stared at Shawn. "Mitsurugi killed your parents?" Shawn nodded. "That stupid bastard!" Zeke shouted, enraged. "They were vampires. Well, my father was. He turned my mom into one and they lived like that for awhile until ES2 found out about them." "But still, they were your-" "ES2's top priority is the safety and protection of humans from impure souls. They had no choice. Captain came in right before my father's plan. Although she was against it, my father told my mom to bite me. To turn me into one of them. She didn't want to. I've heard it's a really painful process. My father pushed her aside and grabbed me. I was young and still a child. Crying and hitting at him. My mom was screaming for him to stop. Then Sir busted through the door with a handgun pointed at my father's heart. He shot immediately and he dropped to the ground. I fell and started to crawl to my mother but Captain pulled me away. He held me back and aimed his gun and fired. She..." He paused. "She died calling my name." Zeke slowly sat next to Shawn. "There was no other way, he told me. The thing is, though, when they came back to the scene to clean up the mess my father's body was gone." Zeke put an arm around Shawn's shoulders. "Look, if you ever need a friend, you know who to come to, right?" "Yeah." Shawn said, sorrow lifted a bit. Zeke stood up and pulled his cloak on. He opened the door and stepped out. "If you want to stay here for a little while longer, you can." Zeke said closing the door. He left it slightly opened. Shawn stood up. "Please, don't be mean to Captain, Zeke. He, he's really important to me." "Gotcha'." Zeke called back. He ran down the stairs. He was pumped and ready for the day that lay ahead. "Training here I come"

Ch.3: Techno Blaster

Ch 3
Techno Blaster

Zeke stood with his mouth hanging open. This was incredible. Was this were he was going to work? "Ehurm! Boy!" yelled Mitsurugi. Zeke looked over and saw his new boss on a path that lead to the largest building. Two of the soldier men walked in front of them and three walked behind. "As you can see, we are underground." "Wha?" Zeke replied dumbly. "There are five ES2 buildings all together. Main, medical, training, living quarters, and the DM. Are you keeping up, boy?" The men behind Zeke sniggered. He nodded as he sped up his pace to match the unbelievable speed of the old man. "We are heading to the main building now. That is usually where you'll find me. You will be assigned missions there as well. Thousands of records, info, and files are stored there." Zeke registered it. "Medical is directly behind it. There, obviously, is where our injured and wounded men go to heal up. Finest doctors I could find." "Nurses?" Zeke asked, remembering the hot nurse from the hospital. "No. No women are permitted here." the Commander said blandly, "The training facility is to your right. Field and advanced training. Battle simulations. Shooting galleries and head to head combat practice. Living quarters are to your left." Zeke, starting to get dizzy from all of this information, glanced to his left. "Like your average apartments. Each has a four room living space. Front room, dining room, bathroom, and a bedroom. The cafeteria is located downstairs. The food is set up buffet style and we always have a generous selection. You can eat in your room or in the cafe. On the ground level is a laundry room but we hired maids to assist with anything. And that is the living quarters." Mitsurugi said pulling his beard. Zeke waited for him to start a big speech about the DM, whatever that was. But he said nothing, as if he were finished. "Erm, the DM, Sir?" The men in front glanced back, interested too. "Although I will not tell you where it is..." he started to say. But Zeke quickly butt in. "Why not, Sir?" "Only my elite soldiers are allowed. Continuing though, the DM is the…” he hesitated. Mitsurugi looked at the men in front of them and they returned their stare to the front. "I'm sure you've noticed the tree in the center." "Y, yes Sir." Zeke said, disappointed. Whatever DM was, it was gnawing at his brain. "That provides us with the oxygen, of course. Not much air gets down here. HALT!" The men split up with an even number of them at each side. "Come in, Zeke. The Main Building." Commander rushed inside and Zeke followed. Inside it looked like a work office. There was a desk at the front, much like a secretary's, and a water dispenser with little paper cups attached to the side. The carpet was creamed colored and the waiting couches in there matched. "Good day, Shawn." Captain said to a young man at the desk. "Mitsurugi, Sir!" he said as he flung something in the trash bin. Zeke studied him. He looked really young. Not much older than then kid-demon. He had light brown hair and matching eyes. Covering them, he had thin wired, black, squared glasses. "The registering of Mr. Aunama is all done, I presume?" Captain asked. "Of course, Sir!" Shawn said, "Really." Captain stared for awhile. "Alright. Just file the last of the info needed and send him in my office when you’re through." Commander said, while opening a door and stepping inside. He closed it quietly. Zeke looked around and sat on the leather chair in front of the boy's desk.” This is, ah, yours." Shawn said while handing Zeke a card. "Ahh. Alright, just, uh, fill this out. Then I'll just ask you a few questions. K'?" Shawn asked. "Sure." Zeke said, sliding the paper towards him. He looked at the card. It was an ID card. He stuffed it in his pocket and began. He grabbed a pen from the mug on the desk and clicked it once. He yawned and read through the paper. He looked over at Shawn. He was watching the door that Mitsurugi went through. Then he knelt down next to the garbage can and grabbed a blue hand-held video game from it. He turned the on button upwards and started at it. Zeke peered over and saw that he was playing the rather popular "Techno Blaster". Shawn stood up, backed up into his chair, sat, and pulled his knees up to his chest. He continued to play. A small explosion sound echoed from the little system. "Damn it!" he muttered quietly. Shawn looked up and saw Zeke staring at him. He immediately threw the game in the garbage. "Hey! Wait!" Zeke said as he stood and retrieved the game. "What's the big deal?" Zeke asked. "Well, ahh, I'm not allowed to play video games in here." Shawn answered shakily. "Shit. Really? Well I guess that I'm gonna' be pretty damn bored then because-" Zeke faded as he pulled out a silver version of the system from his pants pocket. "Cool!" Shawn said amazed. He slowly took his back from Zeke. "How old are you?" he asked. "Twenty-one." Zeke said, "And you?" "Oh, ahh, I'm twenty." Shawn stuttered. "No you're not, you little liar!" "Fine, fine. I'm seven-teen but that doesn't change anything, right?" "Right." Zeke said calmly. "So," Shawn grinned, "twenty-one, huh?" "Yeah, yeah. It's pathetic, I know, but I'm completely addicted. "Zeke said turning the power on.” So what?" Shawn said, "I'm never gonna' stop playing. Two player?" "Sure, but I'll warn you. I'm a veteran at this game." Zeke said proudly. "Techno Blaster?" Shawn said, getting excited, "But it just came out!" "Find out for yourself." Zeke challenged. "You’re on!" It was then very tense. The only noise that was audible was short blips and long bleeps. Occasional exploding noises. Shawn's eyes were wide with excitement and had a huge grin on his face. Zeke was feeling good too. He was happy to find someone like him there. He was really nervous about coming here. He expected all older guys. All making fun of his lame gun shooting and how he cuffed his captees. They would all call him newbie or kid. So what if he's seven-teen. This kid's great, he thought. "Yesss! Take that!" Zeke shouted. "You totally cheated, though! See, right there." Shawn shouted back. The air from all of their shouting blew the paper work to the floor. Mitsurugi busted through the door. "What the devil is with all of this shouting?" he yelled. Shawn and Zeke threw their games in the trash. Commander eyed the paper on the floor. "Do you want me to fire you once and for all, Shawn?" Commander asked meanly. Zeke quickly looked over at Shawn and saw that he was sweating all of the sudden. "It was me that was shouting, old man." Zeke said. Mitsurugi's eyes glared. Shawn dropped his mouth at the retort. "What did you say, boy?" "Sir." Zeke finished. Commander sighed loudly. "Just finish up the damned paper work and come in my room." He returned in the room and closed the door. "Woah." Shawn breathed, "I never heard any one talk to Captain like that." "Well, I guess you never met a person who knows an old fart when he sees one, huh?" Zeke smiled and looked over at his new friend. Shawn laughed and grinned back.
