A parents responsibility to her children

Hi...this is Justines mother...and I just wanted to set the record straight on a few things. (MammaDX would probably be pissed if she knew that I was leaving a blog on her site....but I am MainMomma....and my age and wisdom entitle me to voice my opinions so here goes......

First of all I want to commend Justine for finding a "voice" for her creativity. I dont think that she realizes just how talented I think that she is!! Each drawing that she shows me of her anime is truly a gifted work of art and I am i of n awe of each and every one of them!!

Secondly, I have to say that I am very impressed with her writing skills, and I truly believe that she may be good enough to actually publish a book some day!! I consider myself to be a very good writer, but I have to say, that I think that Justine is fixin to pass me by!! (Though I must say that she got that particular talent from yours truly!! Wink Wink!!)

Lastly, I would like to say that while yes I did take away a few priveleges, that I hope that she understands this was done for a reason and not just merely to exert my "right" of being a parent. Life is full of responsibility and if you dont learn how to take charge of these things at an early life it will surely make it more difficult as you get older. Morals and values, right??

Being a parent is not easy. Being a good parent is even more difficult. All that you can do really is try the best that you can....hope for the best.....and sit back and watch the results. But I think that Justine is on the right path.....and I really hope that one day.....after she has children of her own.....that she will sit down with me......perhaps on the front porch.....while we drink some lemonade on a warm summer evening....watching her kids playing on the lawn.....catching fireflies.....and she will turn to me and say......thanks mom......you did a great job raising me.....

NOW CAN I HAVE MY GAME CUBE BACK?!?!?!?!? LOL
