Gloriously No Obligations!
It always struggle with guilt that I am not taking take of business-- the house, organizing things, etc. I seem to always feel like the To Do list looks over my shoulder when I try to steal a little "fuN" time. Well, today I decided to say "Nuts! I'll blow the WHOLE day, and do whatever my fancy is, and just let the pressure go. Have fun doodling around, then get back to business. I took my camera and off I went....I'm still resizing them, but all the things I saw! The crazy weather with rain, now into the 80's has confused the trees and flowers, so about half of them popped open in January! (It's usually a little later). But it made for some interesting photos.

And I found a soda siphon-- to make club soda. I have some flavored syrups, and sometimes like to have Mounds flavored soda (coconut and chocolate sugarless syrups with club soda, mmm. And Kiwi flavour, or lime). When I get real busy at work, sometimes I am still working and the cafeteria closes, and I forgot to bring water or soda. This was when working late, I can at least make a little treat to keep going. I guess the best thing to do would go and take some computer classes---then I might be able to make report generators that would really help. And I want to master this little beast.
Herbie is behaving himself again. Thank you so much, Kitsune Tsuki ! I defragged like you suggested, ran the virus program a second time, and looked for updates.. found one. Herbie is running like he should. I sketched a little, and began to settle down a bit. Hopefully, I will hit the ground running tomorrow. this weekend is the dreaded Night Patrol, and some of the trainees have been slow responding, leaving it to the OF Brigade! (Old Fart) Some snicker, and sometimes state that they don't think we can handle it.. well I've been doing that for....forever, and am much faster and able to handle some weird situations that surprises our new folks . I just resent that it cuts into other things I have to do,especially weekends. But at least this week I had fun with my camera (good thing about digital is no cost for the film, I am still learning!)

Seeing the early buds ready to pop open reminded me of the hope of new beginnings in Nature. Storms, earthquakes, mudslides, and after a few days of sun, Gaea shows perseverance, and signs of hope that perhaps a season of comfort is on the way.

For my friends who are not feeling well, I hold up a cup of chicken soup and offer a toast of Kampai! I am almost infamous for getting colds, well today I smiled as I found a drive up window where I can get chicken soup ! As cold#2 is still here, this is handy! (No cooking facilities for lunch)

Together, somehow we will get there. You folks are the best!

Big M took a picture of a swan in the wild, so I will add it here. Enjoy!
