   I has Returned ..step by step by step
Well, sorry I was away there, but there was so much stuff-- another round of oral surgery, and a huge amount of work projects. (house chores still pending!)And the rain-- one day when I stepped on the back yard, the mud sucked the shoe off my foot (and it was still raining at the time) There were slides about 3 miles from the house. These were huge multimillion dollar homes, but they were built on fill rather than bedrock like the older smaller homes (like Mamma's)Strange thing about buying homes in California-- you often need not just a realtor, but also a geologist!
Whew--- glad most of that is done. It will be good to catch up with my friends here, I wondered what was happening for you (during sane periods where I was not chasing papers and reports).

This year will be a blockbuster of a spring in California, things are budding early. Buttercups are about 2 feet tall on the walking trail!
