The Treasure Chest
Well, this weekend was interesting. Saturday was rather SPOOOOOOOKY! Why, because I had to ::shudder:: look for a business suit. When I went to the store, I must admit, I am not used to someone looking for outfits that go together , get alternative accessories and blouses and things. I actually blushed through all this fuss and feathers. The first suit was pinstriped (I figured, OK) but it had a funky cut to it-- then when they handed me a lemon yellow shirt to go with it I couldn't stop laughing to myself-- all I thought was "bring a green tie, and the whole thing will look like Bebop cos-play!) I ended up with a black business suit== skirt and pants (to be ready for a weather change). I felt so uncomfortable-- I was shaking until I could leave and feel more comfortable. Then got back to some recycling and playing with the parrots. The little bird has been kissing all his toys since I got back from vacation. I think he is glad to be home-- and the big parrot is thrilled to play games with her shadow. She is so easily pleased.

I have been rooting around to clean up the home office. Nothing much is done there, except to toss the mail and other things to be stored in there. It is a gigantic mess, and frankly I am not sure of all the things that are there. I guess clearing it up is like looking into a treasure chest-- I never know what I will find. That means a lot of computer cables, or books or art things that just rolled off the table or what not. Found a PDA-- so now I have a portable mah-jonng game to play, and a notepad. Trying to get used to using it. Do you have a room in the house you sometimes find "treasures" in (attics and basements count-- no basements in So. Cal!)

Well--- more beach pictures... this is the little gopher tortoise, it can actually run! Its about 12-18" long!

Wishing a good day to good friends!
