Back Again
Sorry I have been away from posting-- have tried to briefly visit sites in between, but Big M is coming on Friday, so I continued to push on in the Big Clean. Part of the home office is cleared. I have a wall mostly covered with plastic milk crates for books, magazines, and stuff. They are wired together, and the top row has been attached to the wall (in earthquake country, you wouldn't want something that tall and wide to shake and fall over). They were supposed to be temporary-- now they are 10 years old, some are bowed under the weight of books. Plus any object that didn't have a place was tossed in there , like a bottomless closet. Clearing that up will be like going on an archeological dig. I think all my lost socks and earrings will be found in there. It is the Home of All Things Lost! Still working on the rest of the place, to donate no longer wanted things and get things down to minimum. The digital camera saves a lot of space-- I can store lots of pictures on a disk! Between my big project, and work, its been real busy this past week. What have you all been up to? Any plans for the weekend? With Big M home, I know we will go somewhere to take pictures. Before the end of the summer, I am going to try and go to Bolsa Chica, the wetlands and bird sanctuary in search of the white pellican! o-O that sounds too close to searching for the white whale--- well, be that as it may, I guess you can call me Ishmael like in Moby Dick ( I guess my tale of the wetlands would be Moby Duck). Yup, with all the running about , I sprained my brain.
