Work,work,work
Does anyone remember Mel Brooks movie Blazing Saddles? I crack up recalling when he played the role of the governor, signing papers repeating "work , work work," -- I love Mel Brooks movies and always thought The Producers was so original, I could not understand why it did not win an award the first time around... but glad it was eventually recognised... I feel creativity is precious and deserves recognition.. it s what makes art so cool!

Ah, but destruction that people call art is a sham! I mean tagging and grafitti on buildings. Sorry folks, that ain't art. If you want to do something in that style, get a canvas, or piece of board, or paper, and go to it. But defacing what doesn't belong to you isn't creating art-- its ruining someone elses idea of art/architecture. When I drove out to work, I saw a new little building that wasn't even finished ( a unigue little style, resembling European town houses) that got tagged with black spray paint squiggly lines. It ticked me off big time! What do you all think about tagging or grafitti?

Luckilly, the drive on Wed and Thurs takes me past sunflowers and dairies... nature helps a lot of things.

Still excavating my office at home, that's going to take a lot of time, but the den, kitchen and living room are looking pretty good. I can only do cleaning in bits and pieces-- I hurt my back a while ago, and have to go slow and light with some things... the home office is so bad, it is embarassing-- but when its finished and redone, it will be worth it.

A little picture to share some nature..another shot from Buterfly World
