Come Saturday Morning...
"Come Saturday morning, I'm going away with my friend"...Does anyone remember that song? A real blast from the past during the tail of the folksinger era. It comes to mind because Big M is here, the weather cool, and the frenetic chores are halted for a brief while. We played with the parrots-- one like to play fetch with paper boats, and a small wiffle ball that has a bell in it. I have to try and get a picture of him at play with Big M. It feels comfortable--- and had been something I basically took for granted for a long time. He has to fly often, and so I'm happy for weekends, holidays that are "merely ordinary".
Tomorrow or next weekend, I'll try to go to Bolsa Chica. Apparently the white pellican is seen in summer and spring. Maybe I'll get lucky. Big M took photos of a garden in the Netherlands-- they are breath taking! I will try and post some once they are uploaded. Today, I want to share another photo from Morikami gardens and museum... another little reminder of a peaceful and serene place to spend time...
