Birds!
During the weekend, I had a lot of time to look out kichen windows. It overlooks the mountains in the far back ground, and some trees in the backyard. I heard a beautiful birdsong, and looked out the window to find an oriole (western). So pretty to see a yellow bird! I have a little booklet of "Backyard Birds of Orange County"-- I like to be able to name the birds I seen. Our little parrot Big Guy is learning to play soccer! We gave him a wiffle ball with a jingle bell. At first he would pick it up and shake it, then drop it. Now he pushes it around his cage, then will drop it on the floor. He gets so excited if Big M or I toss the ball back to him, then he tosses it back. The only bird I know that plays soccer and fetch! When I try to take his picture, he often stops playing , or turns around. Funny thing is, Big M will do that, then burst out laughing (I get so frustrated).

Out here is So Cal, I notice they start going back to school in August. When I was a kid, we always went back to school after Labor Day. How about in your area?

Is there a new manga you are looking forward to? I am looking for the new Trigun Max-- number 9-- haven;t found it in a local store yet.
