Drinky?

Well, the verdict is in. I went to the bar area at TGIFridays, ordered a maitai (tropical drink), and had a case of indigestion like you wouldn't believe. I don't know if it was an adverse reaction to alcohol, or the 10,000 varieties of acidic fruits they mixed into that thing, but I drove home (one drink, people! And I'm very heavy-set) more heart-burned than buzzed. One spoon of Maalox and some quality time with Mr. Toilet... and my stomach still hurt! Needless to say, I won't be drinking many of those in the future.

That was a good-tasting drink, though.

On a new topic, I'm currently watching Logan's Run on the Turner Classic Movies channel, and this movie continues to kick ass. Believe it or not, I actually can't wait for the remake/novel adaptation Bryan Singer is going to work on after he finishes ~~butchering~~ filming Superman. This new adaptation will either kick or suck major ass. The ball's in your court, Singer. Don't ruin three movie franchises.
