I'm smart-ish!

I got bored and I made a DesktopX plugin thing that changes the Hue of a picture constantly. I have a picture of a flower that I took from in front of the school going. It's interesting because everything changes color there except "pure" blacks and whites. And I also threw in another thing! You can make it show a message on the picture! Yay geekiness!

   iTunes SUCKS!

Well, I had, yes, had, about $30 worth of music. And I thought before I restored my system, "Hey, they'll let me download it again." So I didn't make a backup of all my music. So now it's gone. I've got about $2 left of prepaid cards and absolutely no music left. So now I'm rather infuriated with Apple and myself. They should make it more obvious than two lines in the EULA no one ever reads. But from now on, I'm gonna keep frequent "backups" of the music I buy, because they only let you download it ONCE per purchase. Dumbest thing i've ever heard. Something tells me I also have now a count of two computers authorized to play my music when the only one I did is \\Bob here. Because I didn't "Deauth the machine."

All I can say is don't let this happen to you...

Well, I still didn't do much today. I was forced to attempt songs from DDR on "Challenge" thanks to my annoying dog, Suzy. She decided to walk out into the living room while me and my sister were playing. My sister had selected a song that only had a "Challenge" set of steps, and then the stupid dog walks over my mat and pushes "X," starting the song. Then she did it again when I was trying to catch her to get her out of there... GRR!

Then I didn't get to use the computer until midnight.... my annoying sister was using it ALL DAY LONG!...

My mom tried to get a haircut today. But the people said it was a 40 minute wait. So since the place was in Walmart, me and my sister went to electronics to look around. There was no issue there, except my sister bought an expansion pack thinking it was a game, only for me to realize it as we were pulling up in the driveway...

Anyways, back to the hair place. So my mom and my dad were sitting on the benches by the -newly remodeled- "optical center," watching the place. They said at least two people went in and came out in the 20 minutes me and my sister were gone. So we just left. When we got home, I said we should call their manager and see exactly what was going on, because it could have been legit, but it could have not. They easily could have discriminated against my mom because she's a heavy person with an injury. That kind of people discust me. It's like to them they aren't people with feelings... Of course, this is all implying that there was some not-so-legit motives involved. We may never know for sure.

Well, I should go do something of interest... maybe investigate my iPods "Purchased" list to find out what I MUST have back...

Aside from the art-ish-ness, not much went on. My brother, his wife, and my neice came over today with their little puppy! It's a REALLY young dude, 4 weeks they say... But how come they took it from the mom at 4 weeks? I dunno. My neice is just as cute as ever. I don't have any pictures this time... :(

Besides all that stuff... I didn't do anything... at all... except eat... and dork around... and waste time... and sleep... and be bored.... and play some video games... i use too much "..." here...

Uhhh....

Well, It's been like a week... I should explain my absence.

My mother fell down the stairs last thursday (I think. thursday or friday) and was hospitalized and had surgery to fix her ankle, which was broken. (She now has a cool titanium plate in her ankle!) Now she's trapped in the den, since the rest of our house is stairs-ed, and she's not that far into recovery yet. She just came home Tuesday at around 5:00, and I've been asked to help a lot. (She says I'm a good cook, but she has to tell me how to do everything.... It's like she's cooking through me!) So I haven't been around much.

Well, tonight, besides changing the Hue and Saturation of my WindowsBlinds theme, I played some runescape, discovered I had a second player there, and made a background thing. I DA'd it, and here is a small clicky link to it.

Well, I must escape to DA to make noticedness of my new thingy there.

I might have a drawing for here soon too. =0!

EDIT: If you're looking at that image on a CRT, it probably doesn't look like much. It looks really nice on my monitor, but it's an LCD cranked to the brightest settings. It might also just be the one CRT I have here being stupid, but it looks like it's not much there.

I still don't have much of anything to post.... I'm so boreded... oh! I finished my CSI game! My sister got me that CSI Dark Motives computer game a while ago. I finally finished it. It's pretty good, and apparently I am too. =P I don't know if "Master" is the highest level or not, but I got that on all of them.

Well, I shall pretend I can draw... I was struck with something last night, but I wasn't about to get up to prove my lack of artistic talent.

I did more stuff with the bookmark thing. See the below screenshot. I included the whole browser for effect. I like how it turned out, though I think I could have done more if I weren't stupid. I merged all the stuff together, so I can't seperate the stuff to make it do click and hover effects. Oh well. They're not that important. The image links to the bigger picture.

Whee!

Ummm... I din't know what's so "whee!" here... oh well. :)

I didn't do much today. Spent about $5 at the iTunes music store... updated my iPod, burned to CDs and wrote this post. That about it. But I overheard something at Wal-Mart the other day.

Customer looking at CDs to other nearby customer: "This recording company likes to put their artists' faces on their albums!"

I almost couldn't hold back the laughter. The sheer stupidity of the statement! Maybe it was funnier in the spur of the moment, but I just found it hilarious, because almost every CD I own has the artists' faces on them!

As to last post's letter thingy: No one has gotten it. I don't think anyone really will. And it was aimed at people I'd see everyday at school, so :P. I just don't know about it.

Some girl is bothering me on MSN Windows Live Messenger... I don't know how on earth she got my MSN Windows Live Messenger address, but she will NOT SHUT UP! Every time I close the window, it's not less than thirty seconds before MSN Windows Live Messenger pops up the little "toast" message saying so-and-so says such-and-such. FREAKING ANNOYING, if you know what I mean. And she thinks that I am online because my message thing shows "What I'm Listening To." What if I have my wireless headphones on and then I'm upstairs? Then I'm not there...

I've written something I'll probably regret. I titled it "The Disconnect." What is it? It is a formal-ish letter type thing that I could send to anyone I know right now that would basically tell them that I can't be a friend. I'm seriously thinking about sending it and the attached "Please forward to all who need to read this." notice. Right now it's just a Word file sitting in my "my documents" folder, but tomorrow, or whenever I send it, it could be a source of more people who hate me. It directly refers to my yjrtosmyjtp[u as part of the reason I can't be what they need. I have too much... ummm... stuff. yeah... going on in my head to be able to barely think let alone be a friend to more than two people.

I just don't know if I should send it. People I'd be sending it to would include my girlfriend (is she still my girlfriend?) and her circle of friends. If I did, I'd more than likely add their email addresses to my accounts "blacklist." then the server bounces it back and says, "Hey, stupid! This email address either didn't exist or you just couldn't get to it." and has the hidden disclaimer: "It may also be the person has blocked access to this email from your email address."

So what do you think? Should I send it and risk it, or should I just do nothing?

On a lighter note, I have bought stuff again. I now have a docking place for my iPod. It currently is just sitting on my printer with my iPod in it playing music into the computer's line in. The thing I bought also came with a bunch of stuff. Here's a list:

• USB-Dock connecter cable
• Minijack-RCA video cable
• Remote control
• wall socket to USB adapter

Okay, so that's not a lot of stuff, but whatever.

I now owe my dad about $8.
