Not much happened today. But I did find out that I can't get warranty servicing on my MP3 player because my dad threw all the stuff away! All I have is the headphones, the unit, and the case. All the rest is in the Sarpy Co. Landfill! :( I needed that CD!

I'm going to write a script to take suggestions on what I need to do with my site. I'm thinking of totally revamping it. I just don't like it. I look at it, and EWW!

I already know that I'm going to widen the table some, and make it a *little* less dark (although it looks cool like that), and make the content scrolly, rather than pull the page down. As well as a more clean layout and a view of how deep into my digital realm you are. (i.e., directories, ect.)

Okay, sorry for exerpting some lyrics from a song there. Couldn't help myself. I got a new MP3 Player. It's toally awesome! I'll get a picture up eventually. Right now, it don't got much on it. WMP had some errors when trying to 'sync' the player, so it has the 6 or so songs that didn't need conversion. Oh well... I'll try it again later.

One of the people at my dads work gave us a beanie baby to take with us on our travels. That lady has beanies on the other side of the globe! Then we have to take pictures specifically of the little beanie to give to her. I have no clue why she's doing this! Maybe she's just weird... Like I have room to talk! lol

   Hello All!

Not much has gone on, but enough to warrant a larger post here.

First, the A/C was out for three or four days, and it was as hot as heck in the house. We were gone from the house on "vacate", and the A/C was put in and working yesterday. We're now at a comfortable 72 degrees Farenheit. And we no longer have an official A/C, it's a heat pump! Whoo! Discounts!

The trip WILL BE HAPPENING! Please make sure that if you have anything important, to please send it to "webmaster at matt3402 dot com" (fooled with to prevent spambots, just click it anyways and edit it so it works). I may set up an autoresponder, but that is to be determined as of yet.

I am totally unpreparend for the trip. Just like usual. I have no clue what i'm bringing and how it will fit in the car. But I have my camera, my GBA-SP, and a bunchof other stuffs. And I will hopefully get a new MP3 Player to load up with music before we leave.

Last week I ripped many CD's to my computer and now have a no CDs to rip that I like. Whee.

I've started a list of CD's that I want to buy eventually. I will source the file eventually. It's not really long, but annoying. :)

My next "project", past making the REF program actually work(!) is to make more greetings, at least one wallpaper, and more fanart. I NEED to do all this stuff and if I worte it all on a list it'd be three miles long with mundane tasks.

I've been being frustrated with MySQL on this machine. I set up an intranet on the machine to serve to the network. I forgot the password to the main account, and can't do nothing! Aren't I bright. Then I uninstalled it and deleted the datasave files, and it's still telling me I need the old password! Now that PHPbb I downloaded won't install, cause there's no instance of a database server on this beast.

I have been very wary of firewall activity lately. I emailed the firewall log to myself to log activity. If you leave the "extra" page breaks out, 5 pages of silod B+W text. I have to mark up the page with a box-like circle thing for unidentified people attacking me, and a plain circle/elipse for identifies attackers, if you will. What's really amazing, IPRevolution, one of my frequent attackers, is right here in Bellevue! 1001 Fort Crook Road, Suite 132. If they continue, they might expect a lawyer sooner or later. Same with a bunch of Chinese based companies. But they'll probably get away with it.

Wanna know something freaky? People can tell what city you live in based on your computer's IP address. I did a Whois query on my IP, and it knows that I live in Bellevue. Freaky.

   Muches of Fun

That's what this beast is. Besides a messed up tangle of electronic components that work when they want to. I have Linux (Whee! The penguin!) running on this beast, and my WinXP disc desides to crap out on me with the stop error c0000221 during installation, which tells me the disk is now bad. So my dad will need to buy a new WinXP disc for this beast. That means that we'll actually get SP2! Yay! My Linux's native browser (Konqueror, on a RedHat KDE, whatever) sucks. No javascript, and no Java. Then there's the fact that I can only do half of what I want to do...

Now, the fun part! Since I wanted FireFox on this Linux beast, I downloaded the .tar.gz file, which was handily opened for me by linux. Now I can't do anything with the files to install it because I'm missing some library file! I've been google-ing and clicking and I can't find the files! If anyone happens to be knowledgeable in Linux, PLEASE! Tell me what I need to do to install libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0 library/ies! I beg of you! lol! :P

My day was uneventful. I went swimming in the pool we will soon be draining. The water is all murky and green. It's gross. My dad's giving it a good shocking treatment and leaving the filter on overnight in an attempt to save it, but we don't know what all you can do. The water's gross. All 1,000+ gallons of it. It'd take 3 days straight to drain the thing, and we have to stick the hose from the air pump into the pool's release valve thing, and the pump's hose into the inside of a garden hose to run it down the driveway and down the street so we don't flood out peoples' basements when the water is seeping through the ground. What a pain.

As you can see, my day was pretty bad. I guess I'm lucky I have internet, but I hate how I have it. All the stress/anger has given me scramble brain, as you can see.

Well, it's late/early, so I should go to bed.

Now, for my pre-birthday presents! Yay!

That was by KitsuneTsuki! I loves it muches! :) I'm probably gonna get it framed when the original gets to me. :)

As for other stuff: None. I haven't opened my presents from my parents yet. I know one thing i'm geting though. My sister told me i'm either getting Paint Shop Pro 9 (^_^) or Print shop pro (:( ). Yeah. Now what to do but wait till after breakfast tomorrow? Then I'll either edit this post or make a new one after the clock roll over to tell you all my gifts.

Well, not much more to post here. I'll be going to my grandma's house eventually this July. So I probably won't post till after my 1 yr anniversary on here. That makes me sad. :'( lol I'm weird. ;)
I'll post a few days before we actually leave for the trip to let you know. I might also be able to get into the Holliday Inn's network on my dad's laptop if we stay at one. Then I could post, and read email, but I can't send it, unless I make a script and know peoples' email addresses, then I could send...
