I finally did it. I asked my dad for a laptop. But he hasn't done much in the way of setting anything up. I'm just happy that the topic is up for discussion. I hope he sets a reasonable "magic number"1 and grade minimum, not to mention approve of this agreement. He knows how BADLY I want this! And, yes, it is based on my grades. I told him this, and I quote me:
"Dad, I want a laptop. You know how long I've wanted one. I'm willing to make an agreement, we just need to set limits for my grades and for the price, and talk about it with [insert my mom's name here]2 and set it up. Please dad, please!!....
The rest isn't needed. I just wanted to get this out before I forgot. Well, it's getting late, and my last day of Terra NovaTM/CATTM testing is tomorrow. Night Night all!
1 - Max price for the laptop.
2 - I address my mom by name sometimes. No particular reason, however.... ;)

Macromedia Is the Biggest Pain....
....When it comes to enrollment status. I have to give them a signed photocopy of my school ID or a report card, dated of course. But then again, they wouldn't just give an 81% to just anyone....

 Oh how I LOVE being a student!
Seeing as I'm a "full time" student, Macromedia will sell me Flash MX Professional 2004 for $149 rather than $799! That ROCKS!! If only Dell would give 81% discount to students! If they did, I'd be o-so cool guy with 8 computers and flash.... Now I just need to make sure I qualify...  It says I do, but I'm gonna ask the customer service people to be sure.

My dreams....
....say that I NEED A FAST1 COMPUTER!! I plant to either:
- Conjure up the pieces of a computer and make my own case2 or buy a cheap one3
- Buy this one thing I set up on DITCORP.COM4
I may not know how to make a case on my own, But I'm sure willing to try! :) I hope Lemonizer5 is up for a challenge!!! :P

So far....
....My story is going to be 10 parts/chapters. That means probably 10 rough draft posts. Maybe some for second drafts. Then one HUGE post for the final copy.The "end" does leave you hanging until the "real end" is read.
Also concerning my story:
I am so far behind it's not even funny! I'm still on my prewriting outline! Then I still gotta write a 1st D,2nd D, and maybe a 3rd D. The the final! It's all too much! I hope you all don't mind the delay! :)

My site I plan to buy from Velegant is being delayed a month due to me spending the firts month's payment and setup fee.

But what sucks is that was all recorded on paper in the hospital lobby via cellphone. Only people over 14 could go on the OB/GYN floor(s). (As a matter of fact, we weren't even supposed to be in the hospital!) That's just dumb......

Today was well spent...
I dorked around on the internet all day today. Rediscovered my love of robotics, and checked quite a few sites on them. I found a really cool WM movie of four Sony QRIO (pronounced as queue-ree-oh) dancing together! It's so neat! Here are some robot links

 Velegant..... Full...... Whatever.......
For lack of a better smiley, I chose that guy, just in case you were wondering. I email Adam today, and he said that since they're putting in a new server, they can't rightly accept new members & such, so I'll have to wait, like I was going to do all along anyways. I plan to find somewhere to beat what Adam's Velegant has to offer me. I'm anticipating registering, seeing as i've made/modified these!:
