Add to the list...
Now there's a complete list of things I want but can't afford. New additons: Adobe CreativeSuite 2, Adobe/Macromedia Studio 8; OR Photoshop CS2, Flash.
I even made a nifty Excel spreadsheet that calculates the price of the item based on quantity and unit price and shipping charges. How cool is that? I know, not very.
I now have a discussions board on my "MAIN" machine. It is a simple sort of message board thing. It's more like a bulletin board, but it's a little more advanced. Now I just need to start writing those things by myself instead of copying it from the disk that came with the book. I mean, I know PHP rather well, and I don't claim to know everything, but I just am not well aquainted with PHP 5, which I installed on the "MAIN" machine.
I may be having a variable dual, with quad capability, monitor setup soon. I say variable because the one monitor is still needed for the "MAIN" machine. But the graphics card I just saw has three outputs, and each can be used independently of the others. So I can have a TV, and three monitors hooked up (if either one has a DVI hookup or I can get an adapter, if they exist), and have seperate stuff on each. The most I could have at the moment anyways is two, because the IBM's monitor is dying out because of age. But it will be cool being able to watch DVD's on one monitor and still be able to use MSN messenger in the other. And the good part is, I can actually afford the graphics chip! Wait a minute... those are AGP chips! NOOOO! I nned a PCI-E board! ACK! They're all in the $70-100 range... that stinks.
It seems all I ever post about is computers... that proves a couple of things:
A) I have no life
B) I know way too much about computers
Who agrees? Better yet, who disagrees?
Well, I should hurry up looking at those graphics chips so I can seal up the side of my machine again!
Seeya!
